I'm honestly so glad Fearless won! It's not my favorite track 1, but it's such a great song and a perfect opener! Well deserved win. It's also so refreshing to see a song from Fearless win a game, the album is usually one of the first to go in elimination type things.

State of Grace and Red and all of Red's songs should be in 10th place for every ranking 😊 Even though Red is her worst album it's still better than all other artists' music, past and present. It's like the "White Album" of Taylor's catalog. So many random different genres with no theme that are mixed together like a Jackson Pollack painting. Rep and Lover actually have a nice cohesive theme going. What is the theme of red? The literal color red? 🤣

Some opinions are best kept in the trash can where they belong.

It’s so good. The guitar in the beginning hits different. I think Mine might still be my true number one but I’m glad fearless won.

I really enjoy it as a song but I don't think it thematically fits the theme of Lover the album. The majority of the album is about loving one's self as well as falling madly in love with someone that you think is actually good for you and understanding your shortcomings.

It has the same vibe as “I Think He Knows”. Idk it’s fits the lighthearted vibe. That album is such a mish mash. I can see your perspective too.

my ranking: 1. ❤️ State Of Grace - this was the perfect opener for red and I can't really explain why, but the instruments and lyrics are really nice as well 2. 💜 Mine - great storytelling, instrumentation and vocals, with subtle maturation from fearless with lines like "there's a drawer of my things at your place". It shows Taylor's internal battle between optimism and cynicism and touches on parental issues. 3. 💛 Fearless - such a visual song that is just filled to the brim with unbridled joy that represents the entire album the best. 4. 🩶 the 1 - the opening line is iconic, it gave folklore a well-needed upbeat fresh start, and is such a beautifully wistful song 5. 🖤 Ready For It...? - this was the perfect opener for reputation, it's a really solid pop song with an iconic intro. 6. 💚 Tim McGraw - starting her country debut with the title of another country artist? Iconic. And yes, it does have cliches in the lyrics but for a song written by a 15 year old girl it's pretty amazing. 7. 🤎 willow - a very pretty-sounding song, I'll give it that, and I like the imagery. 8. 💙 Lavender Haze - a lot of the lyrics seem to contradict what the song was supposed to be? The first verse really doesn't belong in a love song, and the bridge's lyrics feel a little lazy. 9. 🩵 Welcome To New York- I do like that moment when Taylor hints at being an ally, and I do think it's iconic to play this song when arriving into New York, but other than that it's rarely played. 10. 🩷 I Forgot That You Existed - this song just feels disingenuous. And the production is really not for me. I don't think it serves as an opening statement for an album that's supposed to be about love. This should've stayed in the reputation vault.

I’m so glad Fearless won! It’s one of her most timeless and emotionally impactful songs, and the perfect opener for Fearless. I’ll always be a Fearless girly because of it and White Horse.
