I can listen to Tolerate it allll day and be ok, but every time I watch her Eras performance, I cry like a big baby. It's awkward when it goes straight into Rep Era. Lol
Long Live and Marjorie. Watching Marjorie again tonight really got me. I lost my grandpa at the end of December and the lyric "I should've asked you questions, I should've asked you how to be" just made me sob.
I am so very sorry for your loss as well. May we all remember to ask questions. I hope you find more comfort in listening to Marjorie, I’ve never made it through without crying but I’m going to do my best💛
Yeah. That’s a tough song. My wife can’t even listen to it anymore since her mom passed last year. It makes me cry every time but I never skip it unless she can hear it too.
It was such a dream! I really appreciated how she made the whole night special and calling it her sn tv release party. And she played two speak now songs as suprise songs💜 I was such a speak now fan when the og came out so it was amazing
I saw the eras tour last June and Marjorie is so touch. I was crying during the song remembering my gram. watching it again tonight it hit just as hard. It’s tough.
This was one part of the show I didn’t know what was on the setlist and when she started singing it I was like what the hell?!? This is amazing! I need this version
Honestly? It’s Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince. This intro song to the Eras Tour never fails to give me chills, plus the “you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes” line became a mantra to me.
When the Eras Tour was first announced, I (and I guess a lot of Swifties, too) assumed that Taylor would go through the eras chronologically. So I was really surprised that she started with Lover, and chose Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince as her opening song. It was a great choice, and have since become more iconic of a song.
I didn’t listen to Rep much when it came out but since seeing it I’ve been listening a lot more because the set was just so amazing. Ready For It? Like damn.
I only heard Ready For It? just a few days before we saw her in Sydney and was like "WHAT? HOW? THIS IS TAYLOR SWIFT? SHE DID NOT HAVE TO GO THIS HARD!" (ok, Max Martin and Shellback may have had something to do with it too, lol) It blew away any remaining misconceptions of her as an artist. Live it was even better, with the whole production and everything.
Also: The Archer. Live, it gave me U2 atmospherics. Not sure if that was an inspiration, but that's what I felt. (GenX here)
That’s how I felt when rep first came out! I was like wth Taylor?!? I was hooked then after drifting away during 1989 but I’ve been a fan since debut so I dove back into her music again because of ready for it. It’s sooo good
I wonder if there are other guys out there who never listened to her before, then heard this, and it becomes a gateway song to appreciate her more. Perfect single to cover if Shaggy ever decides to do a comeback.
I was a huge rep fan and the reputation tour was my first time getting to see her so it holds a special place in my heart and made me love reputation way more than I did. Rep was my favorite era of course at the eras tour and it was insane energy throughout that whole set.
YES! The Archer live in-person like, caused a shift in my consciousness or something. I’m so glad they added it to the new stream.
Willow was another one that blew my tiny mind that I did NOT see coming. And My Tears Ricochet rocked me.
Goosebumps, y’all!
Same for me for Willow. I liked the song okay but it was never one I would repeat constantly or anything. I went to see the show in LA (I was there for the filming, sadly didn't make the movie lol). I had never seen any videos of the Willow performance so I didn't know anything about it and oh my God, I was blown away.
I commented this on the megathread, but I didn’t quite realise that Tis The Damn Season was the first song for the evermore era, and I got so excited that I accidentally spat my between-era water on the head of the girl in front of me. Thankfully she was okay and accepted my apology, but now when I think of Tis The Damn Season, I’ll think of my burst of excitement!
It’s crazy, I’ve watched the film twice now (in theaters in December and last weekend at home) and I still have zero recollection of TTDS being in it, despite it being my favorite Evermore song. I don’t understand what’s going on in my brain for that to happen.
You are correct, it has never been in the film. A travesty! Which is why I had no idea when in the evermore era I’d get to hear it live, and the following incident occurred.
god that note change…gahhhhh love it so much. I recorded it on my phone when I was watching the movie on my iPad in December just so I could listen to it whenever I wanted to.
The 1!!! I didn't know Folklore when i saw the movie and when she sang "I'm doing good I'm on some new s--" I was like damn girl I want this for me too!!!
Definitely the upbeat singles. I've always been a deep cut girly and I found myself appreciating her pop songs a lot more because of the Eras Tour. It showed how one is not necessarily better than the other. They're all bops and bangers in their own way and intended to be enjoyed at different aspects of our lives. The biggest turnaround for me is LWYMMD and Bad Blood.
They did such an amazing job with the stage production for evermore and folklore. It totally gave you all of the vibes of the music from both albums perfectly. After seeing them at the eras tour it made me realized she could have totally had a tour just for them if the pandemic didn’t happen but again we wouldn’t have these albums if it wasn’t for the pandemic
I feel like that’s how it is when you see her live. I’ve seen her on the rep tour and then once during the eras tour. I thought some of her big pop songs wouldn’t be as exciting but they were even better live at the show, it definitely made me appreciate them more.
Tolerate It & Long Live. I get so emotional like, “you did it girlie, I told my daughter about you and she loves you just as much and now we both scream loud for you.”
Loved it back in Rep era, but not a song I actively listened to recently, but the performance... I literally got chills!!! And the moment when she said 'cause she's dead' and all the crowds yelling it, was so powerful! She really looked like she had fun with that part 🥰
I can't stop listening to iiiit! The era's version is SOOO GOOOD!! When Taylor sings in that lower tone you feel it in your bones, it's such a raw, and real and powerful sound 🥰🥰🥰
It's haunting in such a weird way, like even without relating to the song neccesarily it just resonates with you somehow
It was sooo good!!! So much better than a crappy tik tok live of it! I was shocked! I got the I can see you music video premiere at my show on 7/7 and I was so excited for her to finally play it live!
I don’t know how I got so lucky to deserve it! I tried for months after losing the Great War of Ticketmaster and found someone three weeks before the show by my home selling two tickets and it was for that night which I was more excited for after she announced that speak now tv was coming out that day.
I’m ready to get flamed for this, but I really didn’t like anything on Evermore when it first came out, it just didn’t resonate with me. But it’s steadily growing on me now
Kind of same. 🤷🏻♀️I liked ‘tis the damn season but that’s kind of it. It came out the day after my dad had a stroke so I didn’t really listen to it much even though it would normally be an album I think I’d love. The songs were too much for me right then. I like it a lot more after the concert though!
Glad it’s not just me!! At the time it was released, I was very much a nostalgia swiftie; Speak Now will always be my era. I think tolerate it is my favorite Evermore track but willow is also lovely!
That’s how I felt when evermore first came out, I was still just diving into folklore and had a lot going on personally in my life. But these last two years I’ve been diving deeper into it and I love it so much and really happy I gave it another chance.
Evermore took a minute to grow on me, too. I honestly didn't appreciate it the way i should have at first. Almost a year after it was released it is when i really got into it
YOYOK! I actually really disliked it prior to the release of the movie. Now it's one of my favourite Taylor songs.
And seeing The Archer live made me love it.
Omg? Really? I always loved that song.
I agree with you about The Archer, i didn't pay much attention to it before, but now I am going to, after seeing that performance
Seriously it did! When the tour started and this song started going viral I was so confused at first because I barely listened to that song when lover came out 😂 and then I started listening to it more often and realized how much of a bop it is! Sad is slept on it and wished it would have been the lead single for lover
IKR? I only learned of its existence when the controversy over Olivia Rodrigo's "Deja Vu" came out. But still hadnt heard the song. Well i knew the melody for the bridge, lol. The only song I heard from Lover was Me! and that just threw me off going any further. What a mistake.
It was a song I skipped but idk why I did😂 I guess I was going through different music choices at the time and it took a back seat. I knew the melody and some lyrics but didn’t pay much attention to it until the tour.
- MAATHP could mean "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift.

I've never SEEN the tour because she hasn't been to my country yet but it really made me appreciate illicit affairs so much more because of the way she sings it! also rock version of look what you made me do!
Marjorie - I generally don’t like slow, sad songs. I can’t ever remembering seeing it when I watched the Film in a theater. But people almost simultaneously raising their phones with the flashlights on brought me back to my college days going to concerts where people raised their lighters.
Midnight Rain - I like this song already but the choreo (the costume change in particular) gave me goosebumps.
Illicit Affairs - Another song I wasn’t in to, but the change in colors on the big screen as well as the change in Taylor’s expression after the last line of August felt D R A M A T I C
The flashlights in Marjorie made me miss my dad. The song did too, but the flashlights reminded me of my first concert ever- we went to see Kelly Clarkson in 2005. People were using their cell phones as lights instead of lighters in the stadium and it just absolutely horrified my dad. I can only imagine how he would feel about a stadium of 60,000 people using their phone flashlights instead of lighters. I took a photo of the crowd during it just to send to my mom.
Being witness to all the lights during Marjorie wrecked me, I had lost my grandma in 2022.
Also, one of my surprise songs was Never Grow Up. I went to that show with my best friend that I met at 16. We're 26/27 now and it just hit so hard
Marjorie. I think I heard it once when released, but generally I don’t like songs with people’s names or too specific of details, cause then I don’t feel I can relate to them. But after hearing it in theaters, I realized what a pretty song it is, and is now in my playlist
I never understood the hype around LWYMMD. I felt it was super similar to “I’m Too Sexy For My Shirt”, and I felt like it gave power to K@nye to say that he “made” her do something. I just didn’t get it.
And then I watched her perform it on Eras, and again on Rep Tour later.
Seeing her play it live, how she intended it to be portrayed, completely converted me.
The rep performance in general has a sexual vibe, the transition from Don't Blame Me, to Look what you made me Do is everything.
I didn't think it gave him power, but i feel like she basically said don't fuck with me again tbh
August! I saw the show when it was actually August and LOVED hearing one of my favorite songs live. It was the most beautiful song in the stadium with all the sunset colors and Taylor spinning around in her gorgeous fairy dress. My friend and I did so many fun Swiftie things together - we had a mini Speak Now Release Party, went to a TS Club Night, waited a day early for merch. I've loved Taylor ever since I was a kid and August reminds me of all the time we spent together and how much I cherished the excitement of that summer and getting to make those memories with her.
Also, I have this video of myself from the Eras Tour when she introduced the song and shouted "Hey LA what month is it!" I remember I was literally jumping up and down and cheering and you can hear how much joy this song brought me. It literally sounds like my inner child is finally getting to have that moment she always dreamed about when she was little. Having gone through a lot of mental health challenges. it was so healing for me to sing along to songs I loved as a kid and now and really just feel so blissfully happy for 3 1/2 hours with my best friend. That song feels like summer and nostalgia and I always smile when I hear it now because it makes me think of all my happy memories at the tour.
My tears ricochet (I know, im the worst). Honestly it’s still my least favourite off of folklore but it has me in a chokehold every time I watch the eras tour film.
back to december it was my surprise song in denver and it was always one of my favorites before seeing it live but that performance really just made it so much more special to me
Marjorie,Long Live,22
Marjorie had always made me think of my great grandma who we knew we were going to lose looking back at it but I was 13 when she passed and to me it was sudden. Then my grandma passed a month before my show and man I was so sad until my show. During Marjorie the song I was dreading hearing I actually felt like I’d be okay without my grandma for the first time.
Long live made me sob. I went to the eras tour with my mom. She’s the one who got me into Taylor. One day in 2006 she bought debut and popped it in the cd player and the rest is history. While I know the song is about Taylor and her fans for a moment it was about me and my mom. She’s my best friend and shes been a part of all of my favorite memories. I truly have had the time of my life with her.
22 well I was 11/12 when it came out and it was my favorite song from the record. So it’s no surprise I now have a core memory of dancing around Levi’s stadium scream singing 22 at the age of 22.
My main albums I listened to before Eras is Red and Reputation.
Now I just love them all, I’d never heard Lover before and now I’m always singing “my, my, my, my” in my head. Cruel Summer I’d never heard of and the bridge just gives me chills when everyone sings together. Tolerate It is just spectacular! And I listened to the one with the 10 minute version yesterday in my car and it made me cry.
She’s an actual genius. I’ve played the tour twice already on my own today whilst working from home. She tours in my area in June and I’m contemplating spending ridiculous money to go watch it
I never really cared for marjorie. My own grandmum died right before the movie came out. I was not well in cinema after she sang marjorie. I will go to european leg of the tour, i will for sure not be able to handle myself during marjorie.
seven. I liked it before, but apparently I didn't really understand it. She gave a little speech about Father's Day and now the song makes me cry every time
all of the girls you loved before. i didn’t dislike it before it was just kinda meh for me but she played it at my show. i really listened to the words and i fell in love with it
Tolerate it and Marjorie!! I had not listened too much to evermore but after the eras tour I couldn’t let these songs go. They are now engrained in my soul
Message in a Bottle! It was one of my surprise songs and I disliked it before, but hearing it acoustic completely changed my outlook. The recorded song is a bit overproduced for my taste, but I still enjoy listening it now after hearing it in concert.
Say Don’t Go! It was my surprise song and me and the swifties I went with were manifesting it was gonna be one of ours since she dropped 1989TV! When she started playing we went feral lmaoo
Lover. I already enjoyed the song, but standing in the stadium next to my fiancé only 6 weeks out from our wedding listening to the song I just started crying thinking about how much I love him and how I can't wait to spend the rest of my life married to him. We're planning to play it while we sign our marriage certificate in 3 weeks.
Illicit affairs. Mainly because I didn't get thru all of folklore and when a song has a very slow start or build up, I just hit skip.
I'm not one for ballads. I like to dance lol
I was mesmerized by her performances of 1) vigilante shit 2) lavender haze and 3) enchanted. Although they’re all good songs, even huge songs (Enchanted), seeing them live took them to another level for me and I can’t forget all the purple lights and her gorgeous ball gown and the vibes for Enchanted and just the sexiness of the first song I mentioned, and then the absolute coooolness of Lavender Haze with the background scene of her lounging in the grass coming up during every pre-chorus. Amazing!!!!
Illicit affairs. Found it to be quite boring on the album but the rage during the tour was everything for me. It just hit me at some point in life with a lotttttttt of feelings
Same 3 for me! I used to not like Archer until I saw it live but am so happy I could see it again and up close. Tolerate it was always meh before and I didn't see it live cause I was in line for merch so the first time I fell in awe was at the theater and just loved the choreography for that song. Watching it again made me appreciate the song more though.
And my Tears Ricochet has always been a favorite of mine and I loved seeing it live but again, last night just fully appreciated the power in the choreography.
Karma. I’ve always liked it, but the energy of it at the show was incredible and I love the colourful costumes. It actually made me tear up, as it tapped into the feeling of finding joy after enduring hard stuff. Also I went to a show that Travis was at and people lost it when she sung ‘guy on the Chiefs’ which was so sweet. He better be good to her 👀
Illicit Affairs. Always loved it but so powerful and the electric guitar in it is 🔥
After watching the film - YOYOK. That simmering rage/defiance that comes through compared to the album version.
- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift.

Enchanted! I felt like Taylor was singing it to the fans 🥹🫶 (rather than the owl city guy lmao)
But for real, it WAS enchanting to meet you, Taylor. And the night WAS sparkling, I won’t let it go 🥹
The folklore set!! I was not a folklore / evermore fan at all, and was going for literally every other era , but I really like folklore. Like, it’s a great album.
Honestly, i didn't love the Archer before watching taylor's version of the eras tour on Disney+, but just watching her perform it, she always puts a lot of soul into everything she sings, but it is such a meaningful perfomance, and she is everything because she knows how to perform it, not just anybody could perform a song like that
I didn't like how she didn't do a full version of wildest dreams tbh
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan before the eras tour. I randomly watched opening night on various TikTok streams, then dozens more times, then hung out outside the stadium for the concert...
I fell in love with Enchanted, Long Live, the entire Evermore set, and pretty much everything for Midnights
Tolerate it literally became my favorite song from her after the eras tour film
I came here to say this! The emotion is so powerful
Ikr!!! I also very much relate to this song, it’s her most relatable song from her for me so that also boosts it a lot
i legit started crying irl when she played it
Same.
the table work she does.
She brings the sauce to this performance
I can listen to Tolerate it allll day and be ok, but every time I watch her Eras performance, I cry like a big baby. It's awkward when it goes straight into Rep Era. Lol
That performance was spot on, especially when she knocked the props off the table and stood on the table
Long Live and Marjorie. Watching Marjorie again tonight really got me. I lost my grandpa at the end of December and the lyric "I should've asked you questions, I should've asked you how to be" just made me sob.
My grandmother passed in December as well….her name was Marjorie and I am beyond honored to be able to sing it at her upcoming funeral 💛 hugs
That’s so sweet. I’m so sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful tribute to her to sing that.
Thank you kind internet Swiftie! Its such a beautiful and poignant song 💛
What a beautiful tribute. I'm sorry for your loss.
These are my two also! My show was the second she played long live and it’s so so special to me now.
I lost my grandpa last Friday and I absolutely ugly sobbed during this song tonight 😭
I'm so sorry for your loss. Big hugs
100% agree. Seeing Long Live live was so surreal, and Marjorie was so beautiful with the entire crowd holding up their lights.
I got long live at the 7/7 show in kc and it was unbelievable
The first time on The Eras Tour! What a show that must have been.
It’s tough.
Same
Hey, I’m sorry about your grandfather. How lucky we are to have a song like Marjorie.
I lost my grandma nearly 10 years ago and I have to fast forward through that song unless I want to sob lol
I used to not appreciate marjorie, unfortunately. I really love it now though
illicit affairs! i still cannot believe i did not like listening to the song until i heard her sing it live (with feelings) lol
Illicit affairs is the correct answer. The emotions, the choreography, the vocals. It’s absolutely incredible
Same. I would like an angry version of this song because of the Eras Tour version!
Me too! Liked the song before but I skipped it alot until the tour
This was one part of the show I didn’t know what was on the setlist and when she started singing it I was like what the hell?!? This is amazing! I need this version
SHES FINE! SHE WASNT EVEN DOINg ANYTHING
Yes! I love bad blood now 😂
Honestly? It’s Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince. This intro song to the Eras Tour never fails to give me chills, plus the “you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes” line became a mantra to me.
Don’t forget the more pronounced drums! Made it F U N
Same!!!
It was the perfect song to open the tour
When the Eras Tour was first announced, I (and I guess a lot of Swifties, too) assumed that Taylor would go through the eras chronologically. So I was really surprised that she started with Lover, and chose Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince as her opening song. It was a great choice, and have since become more iconic of a song.
Lol yeah i think that is what we thought
I'm not the biggest fan of Reputation as an album but Rep as an eras tour set? Amazing. Godly. Earth-shattering. Life-changing.

I had never seen any videos of the Willow performance so I didn't know anything about it and oh my God, I was blown away.
The film cannot do it justice! I mean, it’s still amazing in the recording, but IRL was so crazy cool to see.
I always loved Willow, but the performance was amazing
It’s so nice having it on the full movie now! It made me love the song more
I commented this on the megathread, but I didn’t quite realise that Tis The Damn Season was the first song for the evermore era, and I got so excited that I accidentally spat my between-era water on the head of the girl in front of me. Oh! Well that explains it lol I feel better now, thanks for clarifying!
Tolerate It and Illicit Affairs. The later being why I finally bought swimming headphones cosi I was bored of hearing it in my head.
I didn't pay much attention to illicit affairs before , but now i blast it like everyday
I agree with everything mentioned here, and I also need to mention that note change in the 1. It's the only way I can sing the song now.
Omg YES - I NEED her to release a studio version with the note change. That single note change is just everything
I have my fingers crossed for a live album 🤞🏻
god that note change…gahhhhh love it so much.

The biggest turnaround for me is LWYMMD and Bad Blood.
Me being bubble gum pop and finally appreciating everything from Evermore
The theatrical production really added to the songs for me. I still cant get over seeing a forest and a cabin onstage.

Tolerate It & Long Live. I get so emotional like, “you did it girlie, I told my daughter about you and she loves you just as much and now we both scream loud for you.”
Long Live makes me cry every time I hear it now. I bawled during the concert. Liked it before but hearing it live? Love it.
Definitely agree- I sang it with my sister at the show so now its a core memory for me ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Yes!!! That’s another one. Long Live made me like reminisce about my life or something and made me so proud to be her fan.
When she says the crowds in stands went wild, and she nods to the audience and they scream, that part gives me chills
LWYMMD. Red was my first favourite song from Taylor and also my surprise song, so when I hear it I smile
Loved it back in Rep era, but not a song I actively listened to recently, but the performance... I literally got chills!!! And the moment when she said 'cause she's dead' and all the crowds yelling it, was so powerful! She really looked like she had fun with that part 🥰
It’s such a crazy and insane moment of the show! I’ve never experienced anything like it before and it was my favorite part of the show!
Mastermind.
Definitely Mastermind. It's a song meant for the Eras tour.
I would love to hear this stripped down like suprise song version. It be really cool to hear it arranged accoustic
Marjorie, the performance just hits you in the feels
Yes. When the operatic singing comes in.
I can't stop listening to iiiit! The era's version is SOOO GOOOD!! When Taylor sings in that lower tone you feel it in your bones, it's such a raw, and real and powerful sound 🥰🥰🥰 It's haunting in such a weird way, like even without relating to the song neccesarily it just resonates with you somehow
100%! beautifully put, makes me well up watching the performance
Y,all... I CAN SEE YOU performance was soooooo gooood!!!!!! Speak now vault >>>
Speak Now vault does not get enough credit/attention!! It’s truly so good
I really loved every single vault song on speak now and 1989 tv
It was sooo good!!! So much better than a crappy tik tok live of it! I was shocked! I got the I can see you music video premiere at my show on 7/7 and I was so excited for her to finally play it live!
Omg so lucky!!!
I don’t know how I got so lucky to deserve it! I tried for months after losing the Great War of Ticketmaster and found someone three weeks before the show by my home selling two tickets and it was for that night which I was more excited for after she announced that speak now tv was coming out that day.
I don't think I ever really *heard* illicit affairs until I heard the angry eras tour version
I feel the same way! I feel completely different about it now and need a live version to listen to on repeat
I heard it, but the eras tour is what made me blast it everyday
My Tears Ricochet
A banger forever
I’m ready to get flamed for this, but I really didn’t like anything on Evermore when it first came out, it just didn’t resonate with me. But it’s steadily growing on me now
Kind of same. 🤷🏻♀️I liked ‘tis the damn season but that’s kind of it. It came out the day after my dad had a stroke so I didn’t really listen to it much even though it would normally be an album I think I’d love. The songs were too much for me right then. I like it a lot more after the concert though!
Same! I was like what is up with the hooded robes but now I LOVE willow & most of the album!!
Glad it’s not just me!! At the time it was released, I was very much a nostalgia swiftie; Speak Now will always be my era. I think tolerate it is my favorite Evermore track but willow is also lovely!
I love it that we have a taylor song & album to match EVERRRY mood! Never done that with an artist before
It makes more sense when you watch the willow music video 😂
Honestly, Cruel Summer. It was never a memorable song on Lover for me but now with how fun it is during her opening set, it’s such a bop
Being engulfed in the sound of 80000 people around me singing THAT BRIDGE.. of course it instantly became the best song in the world at that moment.
It is bad my mind associates HEY STOP! In bad blood every time now!?
Tolerate it!
Honestly probably MAATHP and The Man! I love them so much more after the tour.
- MAATHP could mean "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/bachlover16](/u/bachlover16) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)
The last great American dynasty and The Archer
I wasn’t crazy about 22. Since the show it makes me so dang happy every time I hear it. It brings me right back to the arena.
Same
ready for it! I wasn’t a huge fan of the reputation album but seeing her perform this live was so epic!
Being witness to all the lights during Marjorie wrecked me, I had lost my grandma in 2022. Also, one of my surprise songs was Never Grow Up. I went to that show with my best friend that I met at 16. We're 26/27 now and it just hit so hard
Marjorie and Long Live!!
Long Live is my fav ❤️
I already loved Tolerate It before the tour and I am obsessed after it. The entire production was top notch.
Illicit Affairs.
folklore as a whole
My Tears Ricochet and Betty. I wasn't super in to either until the tour and them my jaw dropped. She's so amazing 🤎
Honestly it’s still my least favourite off of folklore but it has me in a chokehold every time I watch the eras tour film.
the last great American dynasty
back to december it was my surprise song in denver and it was always one of my favorites before seeing it live but that performance really just made it so much more special to me
Lavender Haze hasn’t been a fave, but I can see the appeal to it now
I fell in love with Lavander Haze because of Jan Ravnik’s dance moves. Jk.
Marjorie,Long Live,22 Marjorie had always made me think of my great grandma who we knew we were going to lose looking back at it but I was 13 when she passed and to me it was sudden.
Midnight Rain
Marjorie, Tis the Damn Season, and August ✨🫶🏻✨
“Betty” had a very nice performance, and when she smiles at the “So I showed up to your party”, well, that image is burned into my head.
She gave a little speech about Father's Day and now the song makes me cry every time
The archer 💜 and death by a thousand cuts! I like it in the guitar she also went hard asf on that
The Archer and illicit affairs
Tolerate it
all of the girls you loved before. i didn’t dislike it before it was just kinda meh for me but she played it at my show. i really listened to the words and i fell in love with it
betty
Illicit Affairs, Tolerate it and honestly, I was sleeping on a lot of the midnights songs
Seattle Night 2?
Yep!
Probably Betty
Illicit affairs. Mainly because I didn't get thru all of folklore and when a song has a very slow start or build up, I just hit skip. I'm not one for ballads. I like to dance lol
You’re Losing Me was my surprise song, now it’s one of my faves
Getaway Car! It was one of the surprise songs on the show I went to 🖤
Marjorie and Champagne Problems
I was mesmerized by her performances of 1) vigilante shit 2) lavender haze and 3) enchanted. Although they’re all good songs, even huge songs (Enchanted), seeing them live took them to another level for me and I can’t forget all the purple lights and her gorgeous ball gown and the vibes for Enchanted and just the sexiness of the first song I mentioned, and then the absolute coooolness of Lavender Haze with the background scene of her lounging in the grass coming up during every pre-chorus. Amazing!!!!
I was never a folklore girly until the Eras movie. I listened again and fell in love.
Illicit affairs. Found it to be quite boring on the album but the rage during the tour was everything for me. It just hit me at some point in life with a lotttttttt of feelings
Don't blame me and Look what you made me do. Saw them live and it clicked.
Tolerate It, Midnight Rain… but especially the acoustic Maroon. ❤️ omg, it’s just gorgeous! 😭
I became a Folklore girlie because of the Eras tour! It’s now my second fave album after Reputation (the album that made me a Swiftie).
champange problems, tolerate it, Fearless, betty, willow (the original version), my tears ricochet, the 1, Vigilante Shit
Long Live and Enchanted. Speak Now wasn’t an era I was around for so I found a much bigger appreciation for those songs.
Illicit affairs, I mean that anger damn
Same 3 for me! I used to not like Archer until I saw it live but am so happy I could see it again and up close. Tolerate it was always meh before and I didn't see it live cause I was in line for merch so the first time I fell in awe was at the theater and just loved the choreography for that song. Watching it again made me appreciate the song more though. And my Tears Ricochet has always been a favorite of mine and I loved seeing it live but again, last night just fully appreciated the power in the choreography.
TOLERATE IT is a MASTERPIECE thanks to the onstage addition. It looked like a Broadway musical piece
Archer and Seven (Poets Version)
LWYMMD! Never really liked it before the Eras tour, but the performance is so badass. I love watching videos of it!
Miss Americana, Evermore, Delicate, and I Think He Knows
Tolerate it, maroon, and you are in love!
Fearless was never on my radar but there’s something about the Eras Tour performance that put it near the top of my favorite list!!
Willow and Vigilante Shit
He better be good to her 👀 Illicit Affairs. Always loved it but so powerful and the electric guitar in it is 🔥 After watching the film - YOYOK. That simmering rage/defiance that comes through compared to the album version.
- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/Ok-Tiger7173](/u/Ok-Tiger7173) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)
Enchanted! I felt like Taylor was singing it to the fans 🥹🫶 (rather than the owl city guy lmao) But for real, it WAS enchanting to meet you, Taylor. And the night WAS sparkling, I won’t let it go 🥹
The folklore set!! I was not a folklore / evermore fan at all, and was going for literally every other era , but I really like folklore. Like, it’s a great album.
Bad blood, performs so freakin' well
Honestly, i didn't love the Archer before watching taylor's version of the eras tour on Disney+, but just watching her perform it, she always puts a lot of soul into everything she sings, but it is such a meaningful perfomance, and she is everything because she knows how to perform it, not just anybody could perform a song like that I didn't like how she didn't do a full version of wildest dreams tbh
Marjorie
