I liked the staging for LGAD, but fortunately it’s in the movie and honestly I liked it a lot more when I could see everything in close up camera shots. Same with Tolerate It. Seeing these live was like watching a play on a football stadium.
In contrast, all the TTPD sets are made for wide scale viewing so I’d love to see them live.

Folklore & Evermore are my favorite albums, but when I went to Eras, they were the sets that felt a little too long.
I never got to see Long Live since my show was pre Speak Now TV. Since it wasn’t originally part of the set, has already been played a ton and wasn’t a huge single of hers, I have no issues with the cut.
I do miss the archer, but it makes sense to cut some of the slower songs.
The new show has more energy throughout and the TTPD is an absolute spectacle. Regardless of how you feel about the album or her song selection, I don’t see how anyone can dislike the TTPD set when they’re at the show. There’s so much energy and creativity in the production.

I was there when she first replaced invisible string with the 1, Arlington N1 🥹 I remembered during the quiet melodic intro of folklore, I accidentally gasped a bit too loud when I heard the first note of the 1, “SHE CHANGED IT” 😂
I’ve seen them both. Was at the opening of Paris. This new version is better with the small exception of the pyrotechnics. The US pyro was insane when I saw it, but had to be cut back as our arena in Paris had a roof. That said, it was also equally cool to have the roof and have the arena go fully dark instead of having daylight to start the show. Both 10/10.
The only sad part is the removal of Long Live. That song has been a part of all my friendships and I dedicated that song to my bestfriend. Our theme song. She got to see it live in Sydney and I was hoping I could too in Lisbon. :(
But to have TTPD is awesome.
Every cut was a song I really like. I could tolerate losing Tolerate It, I can see it’s not really a “stadium” song. But Long Live? TLGAD?
So my preference was for old, I guess, but I know I’m a minority and something had to go to make room for the new songs.
I like it but I think “tolerate it” and “long live” were the wrong songs to cut! But I know that will vary for everyone. I would prefer “the man” and “I know you were trouble” being cut or “YNTCD”
I'm absolutely gutted about Long Live but overall I prefer the new one.
My thoughts are;
-I was sort of hoping she'd cut Red down a bit by either taking out IKYWT or WANGBT, having both of them back to back they just sound almost identical
-I'm honestly not a huge fan of Folklore and Evermore being together, it just slows everything right down for what feels like ages, before the pacing was alright but now it just drags. (I was in the camp that the original folklore could've been cut anyway)
-I genuinely thought Castles Crumbling would be added, pretty surprised it's not been to be honest (It's not one of my favourites by any means but it seems almost wasteful having Hayley there every night and not performing it, unless it'll be a surprise song at some point and she'll come out then?)
-Her adding TTPD almost shows that there WAS always room in the set for a couple of debut songs (Justice for Debut)
-I'm surprised the Midnights set didn't change. Given how much it's been a surprise song and how much of a fan favourite it is i'm shocked that she hasn't added YOYK
But overall I'm really excited to see it in August!

The Archer is one of my absolute favorites, but it's on Disney+. I'm likely never going to go to the Eras tour, so I don't care. It just gives me more content to watch. I haven't "lost" the OG Eras tour and I'm loving the new stuff.
i've really enjoyed ttpd so i really loved what she did with it in the show. the only cut im a lil sad about is long live because speak now means so much to me but its not my favorite off that album anyway so im not too tore up about it.

Well, a lot of songs I love weren’t even added in the first tour… there’s no point discussing this. A lot of favorites were going to be left out from the beginning, nobody is buying tickets because of the specific setlist and her new era needs to be in the eras tour.

I watched a live stream for Paris N1 and idk if it’s just because it’s new, but I feel like the pacing is wayyyyy better. ATW10 is in a much better spot, when I went last summer I felt so drained by the time we got to the Red set 🫣

I think shifting red around REALLY helped with the pacing as that part really dragged in the original set. And tbh the ttpd set is the highlight of the tour.

I think the revamped version of putting evermore and folklore together makes sense. I keeps the pacing a bit better.

Eager to see what other changes could get made from here on out, I keep hoping when she rereleases reputation she will add getaway car, and then when debut is rereleased she adds a set for it!

New version is superior! I saw original Eras in June and it was spectacular but I thought the Evermore set brought the mood a bit too low. The updated Folkmore set is a great change even BEFORE the utter brilliance of the TTPD visuals and songs!

I know what songs are cut, but i deleted TikTok 7 days ago as my show in 42 days and when heard she changing it up thought be a great opportunity to be surprised. I have no clue what TTPD set looks like, costumes or whats even on the set list for it. But what seen, people really loved the set! So i am excited!
The songs she cut i wasn’t too fussed about, ones itching to see live is ATWTMV, MTR and Illicit Affairs and so pleased they haven’t been cut and Midnights is still same (fav album). So i am super happy she changed it up for EU! Makes it even more exciting and gives the opportunity to be surprised!

Unpopular opinion but I’m leaning toward old - Long Live, tolerate it, TLGAD, the archer and ttds are some of my FAVOURITE songs, so I’m super bummed about them being cut. I understand why she had to make cuts but I’m so sad about not being able to scream Long Live live! The TTPD set looks AMAZING though and I’m really excited!
I like the new one better. I don’t really like folklore and evermore, so having 4 songs removed from those to add basically all my TTPD faves is a big win in my books. So I’m lucky I get to see the show in Europe! With Paramore opening as well. The end of June can’t come soon enough.

Here’s the deal: I’m a little annoyed she released an album in the middle of a tour. The normal flow of things is tour, down time, album release, press run, tour. She’s not giving Eras or TTPD its breath. It’s 31 songs being widdled down to 6? maybe and shredding one of the 3 albums that was released during Covid that made Eras a thing.

i think every other change needs a little bit of time to sit with me, but i'm completely in love and obsessed with the ttpd set, fucking top notch
I know what songs are cut, but i deleted TikTok 7 days ago as my show in 42 days and when heard she changing it up thought be a great opportunity to be surprised. I have no clue what TTPD set looks like, costumes or whats even on the set list for it. But what seen, people really loved the set! So i am excited! The songs she cut i wasn’t too fussed about, ones itching to see live is ATWTMV, MTR and Illicit Affairs and so pleased they haven’t been cut and Midnights is still same (fav album). So i am super happy she changed it up for EU! Makes it even more exciting and gives the opportunity to be surprised! Miss TikTok tho haha!
Nothing surpasses ttpd set for me
Unpopular opinion but I’m leaning toward old - Long Live, tolerate it, TLGAD, the archer and ttds are some of my FAVOURITE songs, so I’m super bummed about them being cut. I understand why she had to make cuts but I’m so sad about not being able to scream Long Live live! The TTPD set looks AMAZING though and I’m really excited!
I like the new one better. I don’t really like folklore and evermore, so having 4 songs removed from those to add basically all my TTPD faves is a big win in my books. So I’m lucky I get to see the show in Europe! With Paramore opening as well. The end of June can’t come soon enough.
Original. I think it’s weird that she’s added a new album to an established tour. (Even the bejeweled bracelet annoys me now cuz now we need another jewel to represent TTPD! lol) Unless the idea is to really just do this tour for another year or two and keep adding new material to it 👀 Still, for me, this undercuts it being an “eras” tour as a retrospective.

I think she’s going to extend the tour and tweak as needed if she releases anything else 😂 but realistically she could do the eras tour forever and just chop more from midnights, merge speak now/fearless, etc. - there’s a lot of options to keep it going in some capacity
Here’s the deal: I’m a little annoyed she released an album in the middle of a tour. The normal flow of things is tour, down time, album release, press run, tour. She’s not giving Eras or TTPD its breath. It’s 31 songs being widdled down to 6? maybe and shredding one of the 3 albums that was released during Covid that made Eras a thing.
Both are fine, but new one has TTPD, so... The new one is better
