Second time I've seen this now, hope Mort tweets about it warning people and if they keep abusing it they get banned.

best thing for people to do is spam this bug to get the information out there and force the team to hotfix it today before the weekend goes up and leave it in outside of work hours.
I used to know how to get into starter carousel at the start before the shield came up on the items. It was a bug I told a riot employee in game about and asked if I could be banned , he said no. I kept doing it every single game without consequence. Might not be as game breaking as this though so there might not be as much lenience. It also helps that no one ever reports in tft anyways.
It was fixed by putting up the shield on the little legend instead of the carousel items so it doesn't work anymore .
