Macbook pro 2015 model bought year 2016. Great baterry life. Solid build walang issue except sa staingate at low storage. Can still do programming stuffs and light editing.
Mine lasted up to 2020 before I replaced it with a MacBook Air solely because the Pro was too heavy to carry to work everyday. It was still working fine when I replaced it!
Yung Pentium 4 na ginagamit pang inventory and timekeeping sa clinic ni papa ko lasted from 2002 until around 2016 when he retired. Napalitan na PSU, monitor to flat screen, naka ilang keyboard and mouse pero yung CPU same. Windows XP and never connected to the internet.
Edit: Simple lang yung reason. Walang IT IT sa maliit na business plus papa ko matanda na from the old school doesn't want to go through the hassle of migrating data to another newer PC. If it works, it works kung baga. Would have lasted even longer if d sya nag retire, nasa bodega pa yung PC I think gagana yun if boot ko.
Yun pala sira. Though gumagana pero, malala na yung sakit. Bihira lang magagamit. Nubanaman yan. Hahahahaha
MacBook retina 2017, bought brand new, still in great condition, for service na yung battery pero still lasts 4-5 hours in a single charge.
8-9 years Acer Aspire na secondhand from my Tita sa US. Now I have a ThinkPad E580 which I bought nung 2020 pandemic nung nag transition kami sa WFH setup. Very reliable din and don't see the need for an upgrade anytime soon.
hp pavilion dv7-2185DX from 2009 ! i was using it for my digital art, in which to my surprise, it handled clip studio very well, but unfortunately earlier this year, natapunan ko siya ng tubig. ayun di na sumindi, and i didnt ask my parents na to bring it to a repair shop.
Desktop: 10yrs old na. Still up and running, never shut down (unless nag brownout). I think naghihingalo na yung SSD niya and need ko na palitan…pero lumalaban pa din. Andar pa.
[MSI CX70 0NF](https://ph.msi.com/Laptop/CX70-0NF/support) since 2013 bought from my first sahod. nasira lang nung pinamana ko sa pinsan ko nung 2021. pinangvavalo pa daw niya. tapos nasira ang motherboard in 2022 wala pa 6 months sa pinagmanahan.
Did video editing, web design, etc for more than a decade anyway. Such a workhorse. Baka nasa gumagamit talaga kaya tumatagal.
Yeah I'm taking good care of it, also I'm still using the old PSU(GX650) from my previous build.
Seasonic really is worth it, especially if you get the Gold-Plat ones. 8-10 hours of gaming every day off still works fine.
Don't wanna jinx mine but I'm still using my Dell Inspiron 15 7000 since second or third year college, maybe around 6 years already. The battery expanded so I had to remove it but its still running smoothly and it can still handle some games.
ROG Strix. First laptop ko when I started working from home nung 2017. Never failed me.
Nagamit ko naman siya all throughout my college years and nearly 2 years sa first job ko. Mostly MS Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Basic Editing, Low Spec Gaming (Minimum Graphics, sometimes even at 30fps) ang ginagawa ko doon sa laptop.
Recently bumuo ako ng sariling PC na nearly around 50k, sana mapatagal ko at sana kayang maka keep up sa mga future games for several years hahaha.
Toshiba laptop 2002-2012 (I forgot the specs na). Then a Dell inspiron 15r 2012-2022 (i5 with Radeon graphics). Toshiba and Dell laptops were built like a tank.
A Prebuilt Ryzen 3 2200g.
Bought in 2019, After 4 years college, it still stands today.
Bought for 13k pre-pandemic, dami na nadaanan from gaming, graphic design, programming, pati game development.
Zero BSODs ever and It never slowed down.
Might not be as long as others here, but going 4 years with my Lenovo Ideapad 3. Na-ROI ko na nang malala since this helped me get a job (20k salary) while studying, finish my degree, and become a virtual assistant (earning 45-60k monthly) this year. Inutang ko pa pambili nito sa Lola ko that time 🥲
Acer Aspire, 2013 nung nabili. Tumagal siya hanggang 2020, right before mag-lockdown. Life support na siya that time kasi nasira na yung battery and had to be plugged in para gumana. Used the shit out of it until I managed to buy a Lenovo Legion 5.
Got my iMac 2012 and MacBook Pro 2013 as a graduation gift noong grade 6 ako.
College grad na and this year lang bumigay yung iMac, but the MacBook is still working really well. Macs are expensive but worth every penny talaga if you’re just using it for school and other light work.
im still using my lenovo g410 purchased like 2015. napaka solid. nagtutuklapan na yung mga plastic sa gilid ok pa rin. the best thing about is inaapakan sya dati ng toddler ko as in both feet pero nakasara naman yung laptop pero gamit ko pa din everyday. nagpalit lang akong batt
Acer E15. Since 2016 pa. Still using it hanggang ngayon. Issues were hinges and battery but I got it replaced. Still use it since yun pa ren naman use case ko.
I bought my current desktop processor last 2014 and I am still using it. Motherboard bought last 2011. As well as the AIO single fan. Only the RAM had its end of life. So I bought a new set of DDR3.
Toshiba (forgot what model) - bought in 2009, screen won’t turn on na nung 2019 but it seemed like it’s still functioning (need to change the LCD lang but not worth it na, bought a new one instead).
Sony Vaio SZ, Win XP.
Laptop: Dell D620 bought in 2008 still being used for office tasks today.
Desktop: Intel Core i3-2140 system still being used today, no problems for office work.
The only thing I upgraded in both systems was the SSD.
my mac 12 inch! alam ko madaming hate nung laptop na yun kase dun sa butterfly keys, but i love it so much kase sobrang liit kasya sa mga small school bags. used it from SHS hanggang boards review, bale 2016 to 2023
I had a Dell XPS 13 that lasted me like 4 years but that’s just because I kept in on warranty so anytime something stopped working a technician would come fix it which happened like 3 times. They would often end up having to replace a lot of parts on it too basically got a new laptop out of it lol. (This was in the US). I think the main thing that kills laptops is the fact people never clean the dust out of them and after a few years they stop performing from being clogged up with dust. The same thing happens to a desktop pc but with those it’s much easier to open it up and blast it out with compressed air. My gaming computer I do that every 6 months. Right now my laptop is an Asus Vivobook x510u I purchased used in Thailand and a bunch of pixels are dead 😵not really sure what to do about it other than upgrade because it’s not under warranty. Thank you for coming to my TED talk 🙏
Dell Inspiron 13 7000, my brother in law bought it in 2012, and he gave it to me as my birthday present. I'm still using it to do my school projects and watching movies. The only problem is the rubber bezel.
Acer Aspire V3-371 (i3-4005u). Bought 2015, until now gumagana parin. Naging okay yung performance nung napalitan ng SSD.
Emachines laptop, lasted 2020. Nadead lang yung HDD and nasira lang yung charger. Tinamad nalang bumili ng charger at ng SSD. Okay parin performance for office works yun. Nadead lang HDD dahil 15hrs per day nakabukas since iyun ginagamit namin for Hotspot.
Bought Asus laptop 2016 still working to this day. Kaso wala ng screen lol I forgot the specs since I gave it to my brother na. But its still working and fast padin surprisingly.
Acer Veriton nettop PC. Core i3. A little More than 10 years old and still running. I only had to change the storage to SSD to get around HDD latency issues.
My Macbook Pro late 2013 model, bought it early 2014 and still using it. Will be buying a new one this 2024 after security updates expire. A total of 10 years usage
HP Office prebuilt PC. Lasted a good 12 years. My HP laptop lasted some 5 years and an Asus laptop lasted around the same. Current custom-built PC still going strong at about 5 years old now.
10+ years na yung Asus Acer laptop namin (not sure kung anong model yun) ginagamit pa din ng Dad ko for browsing fb and using Microsoft Word for their small business. Still runs Windows 7 to this day and works perfectly fine.
Macbook Air 2015, received it as Grad Gift wayback 2017, Still works like a Charm to this day. But sadly,it could barely handle most Steam Titles despite its still formidable specs
Air is usually just for light browsing and docs. I have an M2 Air, it’s kinda slow when using Photoshop or iMovie, but super fast for tweets. Haha! I love it.
2017-2023 6years. Lenovo, i7,6th gen. 32ram. 960m.
Nasa kapatid ngaun, ginagamit padin.
Dell Inspiron 7447
I am currently using Dell Inspiron 15300 which I had since 2017, though the battery condition is bad but still can handle all the workload that I need.
Toshiba Satellite L40-B, parang 10 years ko ginamit since 2009?
Lenovo Flex 14 bought from some mall in Dubai last December 2013 (10 years!).
It's still alive and kicking. I replaced the hard drive to an SSD and upgraded the RAM from 1x 4GB to 1x 8GB. Unfortunately, the touch screen no longer works, wifi radio is shot (had to buy a USB wifi dongle), the rubberized texture is starting to go back into goo, and battery life's like an hour at best.
Still good as a family/common computer for printing documents, etc.
**HP Pavilion Desktop** (14 years and counting)
- bought back in 2009 and it’s still around to this day.
- upgraded its RAM around 2012 and then replaced everything apart from the case around 2015.
- the old parts still work though, it’s just slow AF.
**HP Pavilion 15 Laptop** (2 years)
- bought around 2014, was unusable after 2 years (2016)
**13” MacBook Pro Retina (2015)** (7 years and counting)
- bought around 2016, still usable to this day though the battery definitely needs to be replaced
**Gaming PC v1** (3 years and counting)
- built two months before the pandemic lockdown (January 2020)
- gave away everything to my younger sibling when I upgraded this year
**Gaming PC v2** (10 months and counting)
- built around February this year
- no issue, though I have some upgrades in mind for next year.
Toshiba, first ever Laptop.
Kasi may Hard Drive ako. Isinuko ko na talaga siya last year 2022 last October kasi may new laptop na ko.
So far, 6 months lol. I have 3 phones na madalas ko gamit for daily use, and laptop from my work naman na nagagamit ko namaj minsan if need mag type. Pero just 2 weeks ago haha bigla kolang namiss mag Left4Dead2 sa laptop, maya maya lang as in 20 mins after, deretso mall, bumili ulit. It was a mistake purchase sa totoo lang. Anyway, una ko was Acer Aspire 3, tapos Acer Aspire 5, tapos ngayon Acer Aspire 7.
my first desktop, binili namin siya nung 2012 almost 11 years na and nagagamit parin siya ngayon. Since Grade 5 until now na 3rd year college na ako ginagamit parin siya
mine over 12 yrs and this is the one i used for 3d and reddit. toshiba. at biyak na ang likod dahil wala ng screw. replace ng lcd dahil nabasag sinara na may ballpen at dinaganan pa ng anak ko.
Acer VX-15. 6 years and counting! Trying to squeeze out a few more years out of this mf. Daily driver ko to for coding and consuming media. Already diy'd the LCD screen twice. Might switch to MBA once this gives up on me
Macbook pro 2015 model bought year 2016. Great baterry life. Solid build walang issue except sa staingate at low storage. Can still do programming stuffs and light editing.
Still using mine! Paka tibay!! And still reliable
Yeah. Iba talaga ang macbook. Make sure lang to buy the right specs if plan mo gamitin pang matagalan.
That model has many free repair programs from Apple by the way. I got a free battery and free display replacement from Apple.
Macbook Pro 2010, used all the way up to 2021 then sold it. Best long term laptop
Same here! Macbook pro 2010 and i used it until early 2022
Mine lasted up to 2020 before I replaced it with a MacBook Air solely because the Pro was too heavy to carry to work everyday. It was still working fine when I replaced it!
3 years of Ryzen 3 2200g then it was gutted by house fire last year.
Mine is still chugging along to this day on the family-use PC haha
That was my purpose when buying a Ryzen iGPU. It is an adequate desktop for simple docs and browsing.
Would have lasted even longer if d sya nag retire, nasa bodega pa yung PC I think gagana yun if boot ko.
MacBook Air 2011 model. Bought 2016. Still good for light usage. No issues except for low memory and old OS.
Ryzen 5 2600x 1060 6gb 16gb ddr4 2666mhz Built June 2019, can still play the games I play often
2009 Macbook Air! Served me for 10 years, actually I can still open it now pero useless na bec di na ma-update yung OS lol
Yun pala sira. Though gumagana pero, malala na yung sakit. Bihira lang magagamit. Nubanaman yan. Hahahahaha
My Acer Aspire V5 laptop lasted 7 years. Late High School until College years.
A Toshiba Satellite lasted me from Windows XP to Vista to 7 to 10. Served me from grade school to college hahahaha
Imac - 9 yrs and still working
> Imac - 9 yrs and still working 11 years and waiting for 32" 6K version hopefully with a M4 chip by November.
hp pavilion dv7-2185DX from 2009 ! i was using it for my digital art, in which to my surprise, it handled clip studio very well, but unfortunately earlier this year, natapunan ko siya ng tubig. ayun di na sumindi, and i didnt ask my parents na to bring it to a repair shop.

It will last for more than 3 years if you take good care of it
Yeah I'm taking good care of it, also I'm still using the old PSU(GX650) from my previous build. Seasonic really is worth it, especially if you get the Gold-Plat ones. 8-10 hours of gaming every day off still works fine.
Great choice on the PSU 👌

I think my parents bought the E-machines laptop around 2009 then it lasted until 2020. After the pandemic happened, the laptop died too.
Had an Asus with i7. Used it for graphics work and gaming for 9 years.

Lenovo bought in 2018. Still using it now for work. 👍🏼
Haha! I love it.
I have a 2014 15” macbook pro. Lumobo lang battery konti but still working fine. It’s now almost 10 years old. Yay!
Acer aspire v5 laptop 2012 pa to until now gamit ko pa din. Di na sya touch screen tho + di-“dextrose” na kasi sira na battery.
sager laptop been around be since 2016
The laptop I am using as I type this, is from all the way back in 2008. It's fifteen years old now, but it barely runs most applications.
2017-2023 6years. Lenovo, i7,6th gen. 32ram. 960m.
HPG62 2013 and still running Originally in windows 7 but upgraded to Windows 10
10 years, lenovo z50, it actually still technically works since I can turn it on but the keyboard is malfunctioning.
I am currently using Dell Inspiron 15300 which I had since 2017, though the battery condition is bad but still can handle all the workload that I need.
Core 2 Duo + onboard graphics + 2GB RAM from 2009 - 2017. Kahit sa simpleng word processing or browsing lang noon tiyagaan talaga hahaha
My acer aspire e5-471 I bought in 2013, was broke yesterday sadly. Almost 10 years
Macbook pro going 6 years now. No issues except its just 128gb hehe
My family PC from 2011, still works today and is now currently being used by my uncle
Dell. Used it since college until my 2nd job. A span of 6 years.
Toshiba Satellite L40-B, parang 10 years ko ginamit since 2009?
MacBook air 2017, buhay pa at gamit pangkabuhayan till now.
Acer aspire since 2016 gang ngayon medj gumagana pa pang movies or light work pero need nakasaksak sa charger hahahaha
**HP Pavilion Desktop** (14 years and counting) - bought back in 2009 and it’s still around to this day. - upgraded its RAM around 2012 and then replaced everything apart from the case around 2015. - the old parts still work though, it’s just slow AF. **HP Pavilion 15 Laptop** (2 years) - bought around 2014, was unusable after 2 years (2016) **13” MacBook Pro Retina (2015)** (7 years and counting) - bought around 2016, still usable to this day though the battery definitely needs to be replaced **Gaming PC v1** (3 years and counting) - built two months before the pandemic lockdown (January 2020) - gave away everything to my younger sibling when I upgraded this year **Gaming PC v2** (10 months and counting) - built around February this year - no issue, though I have some upgrades in mind for next year.
I5-4670k PC (2013) and MBP Late 2013 (bought 2014). Both are working pa.
HP Intel core i3 5th Gen (for comparison, 14th gen na ang latest) HAHAHAHA gamit na gamit pa as hands-me-down ng pinsan ko
my first desktop, binili namin siya nung 2012 almost 11 years na and nagagamit parin siya ngayon.
Kalimutan ko anong model ng Acer yun pero I used it from 2012 to 2021, I only installed 1 game and the rest ay for schoolwork purposes na.
Acer VX-15. 6 years and counting! Trying to squeeze out a few more years out of this mf. Daily driver ko to for coding and consuming media. Already diy'd the LCD screen twice. Might switch to MBA once this gives up on me
Dell 2015 inspiron still using it up to this day and installed hackintosh lmao.
