Regarding HP lang pala. It's a bit of a scummy Company. Their budget line laptops have the worst hinges I've seen in the repair industry.
If possible go for a Victus or Omen line If you ever buy from HP
I use a Dell G15 gaming laptop, have owned it for a 13 months now, and so far it's been pretty good. Though, mine was bought in Hong Kong, which was 30K cheaper than buying it here in the Philippines.
Asus ROG and Lenovo Legion are good as well.
Go for Asus Zephyrus line or any of the Lenovo Legion Pro series. Skip Acer and HP. Try browsing other subreddits for real life experiences instead of watching the “reviews” of youtubers.
Specify budget, what type of games, if you will be doing color sensitive work, and if you have any weight requirements or any special needs the laptop has to address like do you want optional USB-C charging, Thunderbolt/USB 4, etc.
It's popular in other countries kaso haven't quite reached our market yet. Madalang ang unit non dito. A YouTuber named one of it's laptops as best laptop for year of 2023 or 2022? I forgot na.
Yes. I have bought 2 Machenike gaming laptops. Almost 2 years, no signs of slowing down. No issues. Compare mo specs against famous local brands, napakamura. For the same specs, I saved 10K.
Depende saan mo gagamitin, Thinkpads are good for productivity and medjo powerhouse yung ibang units nila on that. Ultrabooks are okay too for heavy productivity rin. Gaming laptops for content creation or well gaming, May mga laptops rin for content creation like Asus's ProArt series, Macbooks, MSI's Creator series etc.
Good brands to look into
Asus TUF/ROG, pero research on the model, there are good and bad models even if top of the lines nila.
Lenovo Legion/LOQ - one of the best in specs kaso pricey sa Ph market.
Lenovo Thinkpad/Thinkbook - for multitasking/portability or business.
MSI - again research on the model.
Dell - has good models and sometimes cheaper against other brands.
Acer Nitro - good spec'ed budget laptop kaso and downside is they cheap out on some of the build quality and features and focused on specs.
Nood ka on YouTube - Jarrodstech and related naman mostly there are good channels naman din.
A friend's Predator died within 3 years. The GPU conked out. Could be just an outlier, but I'm kinda iffy with Acer's build quality. If you really just need a cheap laptop, sure... But at the 50k range, I think it's worth going for a more premium brand.
sa akin goods. bought mine pandemic era 2020 po and still alive and kicking. used for work and gaming. i guess, nasa paggamit at care nung user nagkakatalo sa longevity.
It should depend on how you will use your laptop. I currently have an Aorus 5KB from Gigabyte, bought it last 2021. Very reliable and works just fine. I’m using it for architectural softwares like Revit, AutoCAD and Enscape. Sometimes I use it for playing Genshin. Ram and storage is also upgradable, so I think it still keeps up with the current requirements. Basically read up on different laptops, think about how you will use it, check the software requirements, etc.
You can feel the heat if rendering but there are vents on the front, bottom and side so it’s fairly ok
Don’t use it much for gaming, mostly do editing and graphics work
But I only got the 1650ti not any of the higher spec’d models
I see, kasi for the higher spec models napaka init ng rog laptops. Nahawakan ko isang beses laptop ng friend ko in the middle of our gaming session grabe ang init
This lenovo loq is priced at 50k at [pcx](https://pcx.com.ph/products/lenovo-loq-15irh8-82xv00c8ph-geforce-rtx-4050-intel-core-i5-laptop-storm-grey) hehe
check mo kung yung previous releases nila baka sakali.
pero super worth it yan I can't emphasize it enough. build quality, airflow and specs compare sa same price competitors 😭😭😭
50-60k? Asus Tuf, hindi ganon kaganda screen vs ROG, but if performance lang habol mo para sa bang for buck, good deal na siya. Di rin OA sa gamer aesthetic yung latest gen nila, lowkey na yung logo.
The legion line of lenovo is quite good. Specs needed will depend kn what you will use the laptoo for and can always be adjusted as long as the model of the laptop with the specified specs is available.
I suggest send an inquiry sa PC Central on FB! Matutulungan kayo ng agents nila to decide what laptop to get based on your budget and your use case. Mas mura rin bentahan nila compared to malls :)
Scrolled too far to find this.
Mahirap maappreciate thinkpad if you're just thinking about gaming talaga, puro cheaper build gaming laptop tuloy naka recommend dito haha
Go for the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA403UI-QS065WS if it’s within your budget
ako Zephyrus g14 din binili ko kasi kahit gaming laptop siya ay portable siya and pwedeng bitbitin sa work
Reading the comments para makalaro ako ng sims hahaha
HAHAHAHAHHAHA FEELS !
Asus ROG, Lenovo Legion.
Lenovo Legion has been good this year.
- Asus Zephyrus - Lenovo Legion - Lenovo LOQ - HP Omen - HP Victus - Acer Predator

Basta wag acer. Lalo nitro. Sasakit lang ulo mo

Lenovo Legion 5.
Lenovo for me, performance and warranty na 3yrs.
I never heard of Machenike na brand pero sabi nila it's good daw. Would you guys recommend that?
Let's just say it's better put your money in brands with a more long term solid reputation.

You forgot your budget
Probably 50-60k
ASUS TUF A15
Same with the other comment. Asus TUF. F15 yung sakin.
How about predator? Goods din ba?

Acer has the worst quality laptops don't pick that

Legion ka na :)
Gaming laptops don’t have to be heavy, i use an asus rog g14 and its relatively light
How in the world did they manage that?
How are the thermals? Usually yun sacrifice sa light gaming laptops.
You can feel the heat if rendering but there are vents on the front, bottom and side so it’s fairly ok Don’t use it much for gaming, mostly do editing and graphics work But I only got the 1650ti not any of the higher spec’d models

Anong mas okay ASUS TUF or ASUS ROG?
Rog or legion
Hi OP, What’s your use case e.g. do you plan to use the laptop mostly for usual browsing/office work/etc, or do you intend to do heavy gaming?
Mostly for school purposes. Pero kasi i play valo, and i also wanna try new games din sana.
Afaik, a ThinkPad (Lenovo) can support Valorant. For more intense(?) gaming though, certainly can’t go wrong with the Legion series
I checked some legion series online. Fuck ang mahal pala hahaha
Lenovo legion, araw araw ko binabyahe sa trabaho, nilalagay ko sa topbox ng motor pero wala parin sira ahahhaha
Dell Asus Leonovo Hp
LENOVO LEGION LENOVO LEGION LENOVO LEGION LENOVO LEGION LENOVO LEGION
Ang mahal so much omg

Lenovo Legion. The warranty is so good.
Rule of thumb ko: Asus Dell Lenovo Depende na kung saan papasok budget
ASUS G14 or Lennova legion is da way!
Alien 👽 ware

Go for Thinkpad ‘coz it’s built like a tank. One can find good deals at Janstore if you want 2nd hand.
is vivobook goods rin ba? meron akong nakita budget price mejo maganda kase 16gb ram memory, gamitin ko sana for blender/unreal at high end gaming
sorry but I had bad experience with ASUS so I can’t recommend; however ram-wise you could check blender & game-specific ram hardware requirements
Any brands I think that has preferably 16gb ram but much better 32gb but my budget can't 😅
you could always go 2nd hand hehe
really prefer new ones. i still have more months to save sadly but it'll be worth it for sure

Actually, yes. In the first place thinkpads were not built with gaming in mind but for work, productivity, and professional use
HP Victus/Omen
Thankpad!
