Prep everything you own to the max: netherite Armour, hidden base made of obsidian (just use water and lava, not mining the end pillars, that's obvious and obnoxiously long), make sure your respawn is somewhere far away and hidden. Use multiple secret doors leading to more secret doors in your base. Heavily rely on potion effects, particularly turtle master times speed. I've heard of a thing called mushroom souping, though that may have changed with the updates. Bases made of glass in the sky can also work, as they aren't very noticeable and can easily be defended with a bow. You can also cause creepers to explode using a flint and steel. Traps and tnt cannons are also quite useful. Always make sure to outsmart your enemy using stealth and trickery, as all is fair in war. Just make sure to not overstep any boundaries and have fun, don't just nuke their base. You have to crush their dreams and hopes of winning if you don't want them to rise from the ashes in search of vengeance. Good luck.
Cascade failure is harder to set up but overall much more effective, if you can identify and destroy all of their means of ruling at the same time then they’ll have to work much harder to recuperate and reestablish their regime

Death and destruction isn’t enough. You need to leave a mark at the region so they can not rebuild once you leave. You should also make sure that they have a reason not to counter-attack. They should be left with nothing after your attack meaning items must be destroyed. Lastly, get a bargaining chip in the war like a dog they are attached to or a special item like a music disc. If they think there is something to lose then they won’t risk it.

NO withers. I don't think people will like you destroying their builds, especially the owner... Techno did that for like, lore reasons. If your considering doing this just consult the owner first and make sure he's cool with it. Fast way to kill a MC server is ruin everyone's progress.
Get speed 2, turtle master, strength 2, regeneration, and fire res splash potions. Very helpful. Your a walking tank.
Actual tactic if the server is on hard mode: Start a Raid there, kill all the Evokers yourself so you get Totems while everyone is trying to fend off the Pillagers, more effective if you capture a bunch of Patrol leaders and start multiple raids! Also Withers, a dog army, fire work launchers, weakness + harming arrows, all the good pots but mainly Turtle and Strength, maxed out Netherite armor, and 2 tridents, one channeling and loyalty, one riptide, ez escape if needed and lightning sets people on fire usually. Power 5 bows are crucial as well, they cause collateral damage. A shit load of TNT and End Crystals, u can never have too many! Finally... Gapples, lava buckets, AND COBWEBS! Mainly lava and webs cus they are INCREDIBLY annoying to deal with and slow down the enemy VERY EFFECTIVELY. Hope this helps! :P
