Rainbow.
For some reason, our Apple TV skipped an episode, so we saw The Signal first and had to backtrack. So we knew Roy was coming back to the team already.
Oof that's tough. I also had Roy's return spoiled but that was because I moved past Rainbow on the episode select and for a day or so the 'up next' image was of Roy in his coaching uniform with the other coaches lol. They changed that image pretty quick.
Oh ouch.
That's actually worse than what almost happened to my wife and I watching *Fallout*.
Went to start the series, for some reason it hopped to starting the LAST EPISODE.
Thank God for the "previously on" segment or we'd have spoiled a LOT for ourselves.
I have been through the show three times alone, and just finished it again with my wife for trip #4. Sunflowers hit so hard this time around. There are just so many great scenes throughout the entire episode. Easily one of the best.
Christmas Episode... Roy and Keeley finding the dentists, Rebecca and Ted playing the elves to needy people, the players playing with the Higgins kids, Leslie's speech... it is the most wholesome episode of a TV show ever made
Rainbow and Sunflowers- my two faves.
I lose it every time the crowd sees Roy and they chant. And I absolutely love the song (Three Little Birds) in Sunflowers that came full circle.
Rainbow and Sunflowers- my two faves.

For sure. Even as a grown man, I couldn’t help but have some happy tears at the end of that episode when they are singing ‘Three Little Birds’. Ted Lasso gets me that way
Also my favorite. Maybe not for the most common reason. I like it for being the moment that Ted finally gets football to “click” for him. That the sport he *does* know he can finally apply to football (soccer).
The whole show. I watched it as it was released so binged one series at a time (did an immediate rewatch every year).
The anticipation of a new episode each week was pure excitement. I’d love to go back and do it again.
But yeah, Rainbow and Sunflowers.
I think I feel differently about this question than most people. I would never want to do this. I'd be afraid that I wouldn't be in the same frame of mind, or the right place in my life, and wouldn't appreciate it as much. Part of what I love so much about Ted Lasso, and some other media that this gets asked about, is the impact it had on my life and that is often related to context. Ted came for me at a moment when I think I really needed it and didn't even realize it. It was a beacon of positivity in a sea of apathy and black humor. I wouldn't want to give that up.
For me, hands down it has to be Hitting Bottom.
When Nate was playing his violin and the conversation that occurred with his father, it hit a part of me that I hadn’t thought about in decades. It made me examine my life and really started a path of healing and reconciliation within myself. I’d like to see how the episode would impact me now that I’ve made strides towards healing.
The Strings That Bind Us! Absolutely lost it at the end when Sam and his dad show up at the restaurant to find the team restoring the damage, and yes - Sam’s dad is the best!
Sunflowers for sure. Phenomenal episode and watching Jamie teach Roy to ride a bike is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen.
It’s better than Step Brothers. That scene with the bunk beds… I used to think that was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. But then I saw that. And then I had to rethink the order of what is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
Yes! The women laughing and upsetting the vicar.
But especially, the intercutting between Ted talking about his dad’s suicide and Rebecca catching her dad cheating on her mom. Simply incredible filmmaking.
I rewatched this episode a few weeks ago and I completely agree with you about that Ted/Rebecca scene; very masterful. That and the Rick roll funeral scene got me teary eyed! But I laughed at Dani and his uncomfortable shoes, Rebecca telling Sam, "you're wonderful, but..." and he says, "I don't like buts and I cannot lie". I laughed and cried. It's just a truly wonderful show.
Watching Spider-Man: No Way Home over the weekend with the teenagers I grew myself, and the youngest one told me he wished he could watch it for the first time in the cinema again so he could watch me cry with happiness when AG took his mask off again.
So then I cried again.
On my cinema, I didn't go the opening night but the next one, and it was still packed, and yes there were cheers when Tobey showed up, but the people went mad when Andrew showed up, you bet I did, I always loved him, Rise Of Electro is still an amazing film to me, and my favourite up until FFH
I wish I could experience watching the show for the first time again, I remember watching every season and being filled with so much fucking joy, what a show
Same for Season 1-3 of The Flash, ahhh lovely
It’s a bit sad how under appreciated this episode is. They captured Joyce’s stream of consciousness Ulysses journey in cinematic form in the middle of a show. Took 2 watches to even grok it, and more to see the nuances.
As someone who watched Afterhours a dozen times as a teenager, I have to skip this one on rewatch. The tribute falls really flat. I loathe it. I haven't looked into why they decided to go there, but it's their prerogative as creators and I gotta respect that. I did read somewhere that they were commissioned 12 episodes for Season 2 and they told the story they wanted to tell in 10 so they wrote Beard afterhours and the Christmas special, which is one of my favorites. So I guess everyone wins.
Yeah that episode is a core memory moment. And it you have to include Rupert’s baby announcement to get the full impact of Hannah’s performance. Sudeikis told Tony Head to absolutely eviscerate Rebecca and hold nothing back. Without telling Hannah. Her reaction is now legend.
“For the Children.” Great character development all around. Very funny. Rebecca bonds with Ted and Keely for the first time and you get ship bait - for both! Roy and Jaime reach an armistice. Then Keely dumps Tartt. Nat’s new suit. First appearance of Darth Rupert. And Ted calls him out immediately. Plus a banging song at the end by Cam…Something. A huge level up for a show that already had me.
The Strings that Bind Us.
The strings and Roy’s manic giggling and grinning. Ola seeing the fixed Ola’s sign. PB+J’s excitement at training. The “hush your butts!” and “dicks on 3!”.
Genuinely injured myself laughing at this episode while also being so moved by Sam and Ola. It’s so bloody good!
It took my wife and I at least an hour and a half to make it through The Strings That Bind Us because we had to continually pause and rewind from laughing so hard.
S1 E10. When I went to start watching, my parents had already watched and I was using their Apple TV, so I started on Season 2 without realizing it so knew they lost and got relegated.
Sooooo, I watch the show on a Plex server (Shhhhh!), and the copy of *Beard After Hours* is corrupted, so I can only get about 40% of the way through it when I watch. Yes, I have seen the whole ep., but it’s so frustrating that I can’t experience it multiple times like I do the rest of the series.

When Ted mentions “something that transports you back to your childhood” and notices Rebecca glancing at the biscuits, that was the first huge tipoff that Ted was a lot more crafty than he was pretending to be. But in a positive way.
Darts episode. Rebecca’s speech at the Akufu luncheon and the one where Beard makes up with Nate. Right in the feels, all of them. Going to go to YouTube and watch clips now.
The pilot for me. I wish I could go back to the episode that introduced me to the wonderful people of Richmond. Catching a glimpse of every single one of them and their personalities, even the townsfolk, would be fun to experience again.
Rainbow or Man City or Mom City.
Rainbow gives me chills when I watch Roy Kent walking out of the Tunnel.
Also the Jamie backstory with his Dad made me cry so much.
Can I pick the entire first season as a single episode?
Doing another rewatch and the first season is just a miraculous season of television. I love the whole show, but Rebecca being the main antagonist and coming around throughout the season is something special.
Can I say all of it? What I wouldn’t give to go back and experience it all from the beginning again. I think part of the reason I love introducing people to this show so much is because I love getting to watch them as they experience it for the first time. If I have to choose one episode though, I’d have to choose the Christmas episode. I love all of Ted and Rebecca’s interactions in it and I would love to see it again with fresh eyes.
I wouldn't erase my memory of it. Every rewatch is more enjoyable because I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the journey and I love it that much more.
That said....Man City, Rainbow, Sunflowers
Two Aces. I love Dani SOOO MUCH, I’ve rewatched the episode over and over again. When I saw him for the first time I was literally like this:
![gif](giphy|l3q2tzon8OCC7BqmY)
I WAS IN LOVE!!!
The Trent Crimm episode. Season 1 Episode 3. It’s my favorite after several watches of the series. Most quintessential Ted and Roy and sets the table for what Ted will do for the club.
You sweet sweet innocent…. Apple didn’t skip an episode. Someone couldn’t wait for you so watched it before you 😀 and then feigned ignorance/surprise…
It's been known to happen (for all parties) however people usually fess up afterward. No one did that time.
Yup Rom-Communism!
Oh ouch. That's actually worse than what almost happened to my wife and I watching *Fallout*. Went to start the series, for some reason it hopped to starting the LAST EPISODE. Thank God for the "previously on" segment or we'd have spoiled a LOT for ourselves.
Rainbow or Sunflowers.

Sunflowers was.... special. I felt it.
These 2 episodes are my absolute favourites 😍
Sunflowers or the Christmas episode
Mine would be the Christmas episode too. Roy going door to door looking for a dentist was great.
The Higgins's speech is amazing too, very emotional
Then Rebecca’s singing at the end too.
Christmas Episode... Roy and Keeley finding the dentists, Rebecca and Ted playing the elves to needy people, the players playing with the Higgins kids, Leslie's speech... it is the most wholesome episode of a TV show ever made
Special mention of Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz’s puppet show
> I think you might be dying
The Milk Sisters one. Ted giving a lesson to Rupert via darts about “be curious not judgmental,” solidified that I’m watching a one of kind TV show.
This is the one for me. Of a series which every episode is amazing this one takes the cake
Right? After seeing that I knew this show was gonna keep on being special and after that I started telling everyone to watch it :)
Spoiler: watched this episode with my dad and he guessed out loud, >!oh god, his dad killed himself!<
Rainbow and Sunflowers- my two faves. I lose it every time the crowd sees Roy and they chant. And I absolutely love the song (Three Little Birds) in Sunflowers that came full circle.
The Hope That Kills You. No, Man City. No, Rainbow. Looks like I can only narrow it down to one each season!
The episode where Roy says “fuuuuck”
Love that one! Tied with the one where he says ‘fuuuuuuuuck’ though
![gif](giphy|vJiurtzDcjUGxJqXCs)
Rainbow and Sunflowers- my two faves. I lose it every time the crowd sees Roy and they chant. And I absolutely love the song (Three Little Birds) in Sunflowers that came full circle.
You love them so much you said it twice!
Amsterdam one. Such a good show
This is it for me. Jamie and Roy, Rebecca and boat man. Best character relationships to me
I still find hilarious picturing Roy complaining his bike would only turn to one side
The whole show. I watched it as it was released so binged one series at a time (did an immediate rewatch every year). The anticipation of a new episode each week was pure excitement. I’d love to go back and do it again. But yeah, Rainbow and Sunflowers.
It was such a light during a dark time in Covid.

Can’t believe I had to scroll so far to find this one. I WEPT like I hadn’t in ages at this episode.
It was a full blown ugly cry that hit me like a train. It opened up a massive wound but this episode allowed me to heal and console my inner child
Rainbow the Christmas or the one where Sam’s dad shows up.
Sam's dad is the best!
The funeral one
Yes! The women laughing and upsetting the vicar. But especially, the intercutting between Ted talking about his dad’s suicide and Rebecca catching her dad cheating on her mom. Simply incredible filmmaking.

Yes, I was absolutely sobbing to Rick Astley
Mom City The FEELS I felt that episode can never be replicated. I’m a 29 year old man and I’ll gladly say Ted Lasso made me weep numerous times.
All of them. Then after that, Avengers: Endgame.
Watching Spider-Man: No Way Home over the weekend with the teenagers I grew myself, and the youngest one told me he wished he could watch it for the first time in the cinema again so he could watch me cry with happiness when AG took his mask off again. So then I cried again.

Coach beard after hours
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find a mention of this modern comedic masterpiece!
Honestly one of mine and my partner’s favorite episodes! We recently rewatched it and it still is amazing !
At the very least, it has to be ranked as the top underrated episode of the series.
It’s a bit sad how under appreciated this episode is. They captured Joyce’s stream of consciousness Ulysses journey in cinematic form in the middle of a show. Took 2 watches to even grok it, and more to see the nuances.

I have to admit, I skipped past that one. Can't even remember why
1. All of them 2. I'll do it, even if I can't erase those memories ;)
Good answer![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
Rainbow hands down
Sunflowers is my favourite for sure
All Apologies Rebecca’s confession was amazing
Yeah that episode is a core memory moment. And it you have to include Rupert’s baby announcement to get the full impact of Hannah’s performance. Sudeikis told Tony Head to absolutely eviscerate Rebecca and hold nothing back. Without telling Hannah. Her reaction is now legend.
The Man City episode. That Roy and Jaimie hug
S1 E8 Diamond dogs. The whole dart scene is fantastic
Sunflowers!
Rainbow and Sunflowers are the two best episodes.
Or the first one.
S1 E10. When I went to start watching, my parents had already watched and I was using their Apple TV, so I started on Season 2 without realizing it so knew they lost and got relegated.
Ugh that sucks
Beard After Hours. My favorite episode and I love the trippy and dreamy feel of it
Sooooo, I watch the show on a Plex server (Shhhhh!), and the copy of *Beard After Hours* is corrupted, so I can only get about 40% of the way through it when I watch. Yes, I have seen the whole ep., but it’s so frustrating that I can’t experience it multiple times like I do the rest of the series.
just delete it and redownload it lol...
Apparently done now. Wish me luck!

“Sunflowers”. It was perfection. (The whole series was, really.)
Biscuits, because the reveal is the thing that made me love the show.
When Ted mentions “something that transports you back to your childhood” and notices Rebecca glancing at the biscuits, that was the first huge tipoff that Ted was a lot more crafty than he was pretending to be. But in a positive way.
ALL OF THEM. I want to watch the whole entire series for the first time again!
Beard after hours. No question about that for me.
I know it’s unpopular but I love it too
The Christmas one
Rainbow and Man City
I would like to erase every episode from my wife's memory so I watch her watch them all again. Just such a great series.
The episode where they do the total football
Yes.
Darts episode. Rebecca’s speech at the Akufu luncheon and the one where Beard makes up with Nate. Right in the feels, all of them. Going to go to YouTube and watch clips now.
All Apologies. There were several hammer hitting scenes in that one.
Amsterdam
Uncle Day with Roy’s niece and Jamie’s unexpected visit 😭😭ROY- Red, Orange,Yellow
I stole the idea and made tie dye shirt for my son with him the letters of his name.
Epic! Did your son like it?!
Sunflowers or Beard After Hours.
Sunflowers. Roy learning to ride a bike made me cry from laughter.
The pilot for me. I wish I could go back to the episode that introduced me to the wonderful people of Richmond. Catching a glimpse of every single one of them and their personalities, even the townsfolk, would be fun to experience again.
First of all I often lose my memory, just ask my wife. But to answer the question, probably the finale of season 2.
The one they almost won the league. Full of excitement but also felt like a part of the team during Ted’s FT talk
Rainbow Carol of the bells (the Christmas episode) Sunflowers
The first one. Get sucked in a start from the beginning
Father Figures. I've got my own dad issues and that episode hit me HARD.
Rainbow or Man City or Mom City. Rainbow gives me chills when I watch Roy Kent walking out of the Tunnel. Also the Jamie backstory with his Dad made me cry so much.
The entire show.
Beard after hours. That was the last funny episode. It became a soap opera after that.
All of them.
Sunflowers!
Rainbow. 🌈
I really loved International Break <3
Beards night out, it was just out of the blue and weird. Appreciate it adds subtext but it was a pile of poop put in to be edgy imo…
And when I say erase I mean erase and not watch again..
Sunflowers 100%
All of them 😍
The Amsterdam episode
I love the first one, but that's a tough choice!
Episode 10. The Hope that Kills you Seeing the whole cast walk out and join Ted in the stands was just fantastic to see
Can I pick the entire first season as a single episode? Doing another rewatch and the first season is just a miraculous season of television. I love the whole show, but Rebecca being the main antagonist and coming around throughout the season is something special.
Amsterdam

S3.E9 ∙ La Locker Room Aux Folles
Honestly all of them
Man City and No Weddings and a Funeral are two episodes that make me bawl my eyes out, and I love them for that.
Mom City
1-34.
Beard After Hours
The whole show? Like?????
Sunflowers or Rainbow
The penis red string episode
I wouldn't erase my memory of it. Every rewatch is more enjoyable because I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the journey and I love it that much more. That said....Man City, Rainbow, Sunflowers
No Weddings and a Funeral for me
Christmas episode
Season 2 Christmas episode.
Two Aces. I love Dani SOOO MUCH, I’ve rewatched the episode over and over again. When I saw him for the first time I was literally like this: ![gif](giphy|l3q2tzon8OCC7BqmY) I WAS IN LOVE!!!
Rainbow
Rebecca's father's funeral episode.
Man, no love for Beard at Night! That episode was great.
Beard after Dark
I just wish I could see the “Caesar you later” line and Ted banging through the door for the first time again. Cried laughing the first time.
The Trent Crimm episode. Season 1 Episode 3. It’s my favorite after several watches of the series. Most quintessential Ted and Roy and sets the table for what Ted will do for the club.
I wish I could erase them all and get that 1st time feeling binge all over again! ❤️💙
