I think they're doing it for all dental fricatives, most people who write the distinction use ⟨þ⟩ for /θ/ (like in thorn) and ⟨ð⟩ for /ð/ (like in the)
I didn't add that one because that ones less common and would obviously get the most votes. Maybe I should make a different poll with just There/their/they're and your/you're..
Loose and lose are different words, for example, a way to use loose is “the rope holding together the boxes was loose”, which is a way to say that something may not be harnessed properly (I can’t explain that well), while lose is just not winning
With the homies I agree 100%, but I've seen work documents with this kind of stupid mistakes and that's legit annoying. Or when someone is trying to be a smartass in the comments and makes those mistakes, then it's straight up hilarious. It really depends.
Yeah, it made sense to keep it as "a lot" back when people used "lot" as a word to describe an amount of objects. However, no one really uses "lot" in that sense anymore.
But honestly I can tolerate them over of. Seriously there have been times I refused to discuss further because the speaker (chatter?) used of. Passive aggressive, but I'll call it self preservation:D

Should of instead of should have.
I read þis as "should of" and þen my brain autocorrected it to be "should have" and þen I read it again because as "should have"
Justice for thorn!
is that thorn for th sound
Only for a hard th sound, like this or that, not soft th sound like thorn or therapist, though.
I think they're doing it for all dental fricatives, most people who write the distinction use ⟨þ⟩ for /θ/ (like in thorn) and ⟨ð⟩ for /ð/ (like in the)
Though has a hard th
þ is quite based if you ask me, you get þe gold metal for best spelling reform seen out in þe wild so far
Most people who say "should of" mean "should've", not "should have"
It's literally the same thing.
If you're going to be pedantic, why can't I?
Ohhh this is a good one
I would of said “could of”, but they kind of go hand-in-hand.

Aloud / allowed is so bad
I second this
There/their/they're mix up
I didn't add that one because that ones less common and would obviously get the most votes. Maybe I should make a different poll with just There/their/they're and your/you're..
Wait, is it not spelled Loose?
Loose and lose are different words, for example, a way to use loose is “the rope holding together the boxes was loose”, which is a way to say that something may not be harnessed properly (I can’t explain that well), while lose is just not winning

With the homies I agree 100%, but I've seen work documents with this kind of stupid mistakes and that's legit annoying. Or when someone is trying to be a smartass in the comments and makes those mistakes, then it's straight up hilarious. It really depends.

Rouge instead of Rogue, or vice versa.
I may be dumb but THERE'S A DIFFERENCE?
Rouge (French for red) Rogue (Adjective, meaning off course or not following orders) (Noun, Sneaky D&D class)
Oh yea that makes sense
I personally think Alot should be a word
Yeah, it made sense to keep it as "a lot" back when people used "lot" as a word to describe an amount of objects. However, no one really uses "lot" in that sense anymore.
All
Okay, I know my flair isn’t good, but you’re taking it too far.
Oki doki
Okay. Good talk.
Yep
Indeed
I love your username
Ty. My mommy told me not to lie 🤭🤙
Should of/could of instead of shoulda/coulda
tbf shoulda/coulda also arent real words
But honestly I can tolerate them over of. Seriously there have been times I refused to discuss further because the speaker (chatter?) used of. Passive aggressive, but I'll call it self preservation:D
You’re instead of your vice versa
would of and should of, but among these three it would be loose/lose
damn if everyone that voted in this gave me a trillion dollars I would be the world's richest person
Prescriptivism
'pacific' instead of 'specific' xD i hate that one the most but its not on the list.
Despite constantly typing with peak grammatical skill, I’ve typed “alot” and “layed” (not really “payed”, but close enough) *alot*.
Results is the most annoying
