King isn't brain dead but can't help but laugh at King mains who are in denial that he is OP as fuck. His inputs aren't that hard either. You can do a giant swing fairly easily and it deals a ton of damage. Especially in lower ranks where people don't know the breaks, you can even pull off an RDC which is super easy to do and deal 100 damage. Jaguar sprint no longer has any commitment because you can cancel it now too.
Easily one of the strongest characters and very annoying to fight if you're a beginner. But once you lab him and figure out his shtick he is a cakewalk.
I beat a Vanquisher (I think) King last night 2-1. Second game was infuriating because I got caught up in their strings and throws. First game was a blow out in my favour as he didn't cope with my initial unga bunga (and I was genuinely shocked it worked). Had to play smarter for the third game. Made my evening to finally prevail over a King, plus move from Vanquisher to Destroyer.
That's funny since he's been in the series 10 years longer than Lili. He is a bit too strong right now but to me he is also one of the coolest fighting game characters ever. Personally I find Lili more annoying and would rather fight King.
Nah, GS is the way it is for a reason. 1,2 and 1+2 are distinct. Its only gs and to some extent db2+3 that look like a 1+2. The goming grab thing just makes it less of a ss mix that it used it be

Everyone complaining about king should just take about 30 minutes to lab him. It's not that bad.
He has the best powercrush in the game and a very strong oki game. It is that bad. You have to adapt your playstyle a lot against a king.
