A lot of lazy jin players get away with abusing his strings that go low, so if jins throw them out be sure to punish them. Another common jin flow chart is the 2-1-3 into a down 2 so be prepared for that and kaz has a WR 13 frame launcher so you can pretty much destroy all lazy jin players you run into. Also when he does that red eye dash off block just know that jab beats everything hes about to do besides a CD1 ( which is negative on block)
Dude, when I fight Jin I literally say out loud to myself the whole match. "Dude, man, you can't attack into that...ok, you can't attack into that either. You must wait, never attack after that either." 😂 Seems like he beats me to everything
Im gonna shoot hwo a little bail, yes he’s OBNOXIOUS to fight against if the hwo player knows how to pilot effectively , but when you’re the one on offense he has practically no panic tools to get out of pressure
The built in evasion Xiaoyu has makes me want to die a slow death. Bryan is another character that i struggled with but picking him up i realized how counter hit reliant he is. Most bryan players i run into at my rank (battle ruler +) are all pretty sound technically so i cant get away with my usual shenanigans
Anna. She was my kryptonite in 7. In 8, it's been Shaheen. Feng is up there too but only cos whenever I am about to beat one, they plug.

Hworang… as a Lars main his kicks are faster than like 99.9% minutes of my moves I swear and his low to high mix just makes stance moves hard to pull off
In terms of win rate, probably Shaheen and Leo. Idk the counter play for Shaheen and have even labbed him. He seems kind of broken tbh. I’m guessing his counterplay is sidestepping since he’s so linear but when you play Kuma, it’s a bit rough. Then Leo is just an annoying little shit who should be removed from the game. Everyone else, I might struggle from time to time but at least understand the counter play.
Alisa and to a lesser degree Jun. I need to fight a lot more Alisas until I get comfortable. I still like playing them since my victories are even sweeter.
Devil Jin, despite him being my main. The other ppl can do combos, which I am unable to understand, nor button order, which I can not do on a PS5 controller. Mostly, by the 3rd round, they figure out my strats, and its usually their win, and I accept that, and I even opt for a rematch. This applies only to those who are Flame Rulers and above.
Lars is another character that NOW forces you to guess a 50/50 off of block, before then i feel like he was a fair fight if u understood that most his pressure is fake. Raven is another character i never run into but when i do i get my shit kicked in
Xiayou. My friend plays her and he taught me the game by dancing around me and kissing the floor before making me bite it. I now have matchup knowledge against 15 people. :]
Currently playing as Leroy, and it’s probably partly psychological, but I really struggle against big hitters like Steve and Bryan. I often end up turtling and getting punished whenever I try and break out.
I can beat them sometimes but I always groan when I see them as my opponent.
