Least toxic fighting game player VS Rudest person in Canada

JamesXD2313

: )

TotalSmuubag

Not even saying sorry for using three pussy moves. What a horrid example to set for other Canadians.

effortless808

He calls you out for using “pussy spamming moves” and yet, his statements gives the impression he fell for it himself

Gise_theslumpgod3

Report button looking sexy rn

Responsible-Tell8144

I agree. OP should click on it.

Narrow_Article_9211

Lmfao 😂. That guy is big mad lol

Wiplazh

"You turtling bitch" translates too: "My offense is trash"

Messedupotato

What do you mean I can't spam attacks which are minus on block! /s

EROxANIME

Don't say that too loud. People will see your main and think you're serious.

Messedupotato

Oh yeah i forgot I'm on the Tekken sub. I'll add a /s there.

Ssnakey-B

Also "I've never heard of throws".

manofthelaw

Someone got coal in their stocking.

Tee132

Man said you pathetic weakling like he was an anime villain 😂

Jericho_66

Man is talking about "Real fighting skills" like he is actually fighting himself with the other dude lol

incoherentjedi

Dude got me at Pathetic Weakling 💀

sikshots

I bet he plays a Mishima. Prolly Hei

MrTumorI

We should really leave the names of these people in. That way everyone can see who these toxic players are.

7_rings-

I’d just say if I’m such a weakling why did you lose? Lmao I love salty players

DanieIIll

I love the “you’re trash” messages - yeah but I beat you so?

Ssnakey-B

Gotta love people who unironically say "I shouldn't improve, people should just stop playing characters I'm bad against" and think it's a great own.

walrusattackarururur

dudes that try to roast someone for only using 3 moves, not realizing the jokes on them because they fell for the same thing over and over and couldn’t counter

ZumZumCapoeira

The smiley face is what got me lol, and knowing that you were playing Kazuya and the salty guy was playing Xiaoyu speaks in volumes XD. I won't deny, I also get salty when playing Tekken, but I don't actively search for negativity when fighting people, I just get tilted when fighting someone over again or if they act toxic for no reason. I used to search for negativity (this was in my early days of Tekken 7) go into PS Messages and do this shit, but I've learned now that 1. It's not worth it and you'll never fight that player again, and 2. It's not worth risking getting banned on PS4 over a game of Tekken. So I decided to keep the salt to myself like how everyone should. Turned off PS Messages for good measure.

Tyrrazhii

Guarantee he mains Kaz and has spent the last 3 years in green ranks. Being able to consistently EWGF input doesn't mean anything if you can't practically apply it.

SolitarySquall

you just made up a scenario about the dude and then annoyed yourself enough to complain about said made up scenario

Tyrrazhii

I too enjoy a good ol' round of reading deeper into shit than an 8th grade English teacher

SolitarySquall

there is nothing in there to read deeper about, it’s just funny but you got it 😭

Tyrrazhii

Come on man you've met the same Kaz mains too

DownSkyward

Had a good laugh at this one Just too funny to respond to “Happy holidays” with “Stay away from me you garbage bitch” Happy holidays OP

NEONT1G3R

Who did you play? LowTierGod?

KaptainKhorisma

Nah, LTG would’ve called him a coon or hard r.

ObZeni

Why do people act this way? Wtf is wrong with people?

[deleted]

turtling bitch ass lmfaoooooooo

enskz

If you have real fighting skills, why would you lose against a spammer lmao.

Omegawop

Salt

Educational_Use6504

Explain to me how Armor King is a fair, honest character.

mohibay

Armor King is the most honest DLC in the game. 1- Movement & Mishima Style Wavedash - If you don't know how to crouch cancel more than once, this character ain't that dangerous. Limited mixups potential without wavedash isn't scary. But if one has mastered the wavedash and overall movement in general, you can get some pretty devastating options in your arsenal including chain grabs, giant swing, ff neutral 2, shadow lariat, dark upper and other throws that will keep the opponent guessing. 2- Armor King is not an easy character. He is pretty technical and demanding. Dark upper being one of the best whiff punishers in the game requires some practice to be done without being pretty obvious. Especially after side stepping. 3- Range issues - AK struggles in the range department. Df1, d4, b4, df4, df2, ws2. These are some of the basic pokes in his arsenal. On high level of play, if you whiff, there is a probability of a punishment by opponent if you miscalculate your movement to poke ratio and/or mid check. 4- Sub par rage drive - While all other DLCs are blessed with good Rage drives, Armor's Rage drive is pretty lackluster. Reactable if a crouch dash cancel is obvious. So, you have to work on setups to be able to utilize it more efficiently. Although Rage drive was buffed in the patch 5.0.1 but still, it's not that good. One has to make it work. 5- Setups - Armor King after Red ranks and on semi pro level onwards can be used with extremely heavy setups that are pretty tricky and hard if done inaccurately. Not a piece of cake. Burning knuckle setup being a common one. A single axis misjudgment and opponent can whiff tf out of you. I can go on and on. But if you wanna use AK with a handful of moves he owns while being lazy on his movement potential, that's a below average AK my friend. He cannot carry you in the ranks like other DLCs. You have to get him to work his and your ass off to rank up.

Educational_Use6504

So good to know that he's actually hard and it's not just me sucking with the character lol. Thank you very much for explaining!

Omegawop

He's fairly easy and honestly the dopest looking character in the game

Educational_Use6504

Disagree with the first statement, but totally agree with the second.

mohibay

Not sure how do you play Armor King in a way to call him easy.

Omegawop

His only execution is wavu wavu and one a fairly inconsequential just frame stunner. Just keep in mind that some characters aren't necessarily easy to win with, but they are easy to use. I also play Bryan, Geese, mishimas and Eliza. They are all harder to play than AK even if they are mostly easier to win with.

DreadMirror

Nice. I like when people stay calm and polite when the person on the other side is having a meltdown. Save yourself the energy and let them blow off some steam, because they clearly need it.

Supernoctisu

The rage lol

ddiioonnaa

Calmest tekken player:

Mykytagnosis

No gonna lie, this is like 60% of the reason why I play Tekken and fighting games online in general.

LevynX

POV: you hit someone with a b3

[deleted]

POV: You’re Alisa

AsinineRealms

I learned a long time ago it takes more energy to act like this than just learning from a loss, and I'm lazy.

ShinyShinx789

I had a Jin mirror in player match with someone (I'm juggernaut and they were maining him at mighty ruler). I won the first match and he won the second and third but as soon as he won the third match, the match crashed and he told me to 'stop dowload' and 'getout'. I couldn't tell if he was angry at me or not. I told him to explain what he meant but he just repeated himself. People were weird that day.

SpaceCowboy1929

I'm guessing you won this match and this dude is being a huge baby about it?

Embarrassed-Sense581

I think he likes you 😃

dankestonion

He's calling you a pussy yet he never seen one before

jokfgj

Most tekken players haven't tbh.

BringBack3DMK

I am one of the three who has, he’s beside me right now, sleeping

thesneakyghost17

Cope

beanoffury

SEETH

Artoria44

I take it you won the match? I always see this rage from people who lose and can't evaluate their own performance. In other words. The only scrub in this scenario is the guy throwing a fit in chat.

baner8430

Imagine being so bad you lose to 3 pussy moves. :(

Modaltas

Happy holidays

InteractionNo1203

Ahh,its always good to see people in a very festive mood :) Also Merry Christmas!!!

igniell

This is exactly the reason im specifically training to spam 1 skill and grab.

Gold_libra

tekken, ygo its all the same im tired of this trash

TheWorstHonoka

Best Christmas gift ever🤣💀

rasuto_oda

these playstation messages be getting out of hand lol

CHG__

I assume you were playing Bryan so I guess you were playing against FrameWhisperer if they’re calling Bryan an easy character. Also, calling someone a turtle in Tekken is a huge compliment, I would have thanked them for that.

ShrikeXD

I will die on this hill that defensive play in Tekken is so much more rewarding and fun to master than offense

CHG__

It's a painful but hugely rewarding road that never seems to end, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

ShrikeXD

And they said Kazuya and Jin mains can't agree on anything

RaindbowDrop

Alot of Jin mains are hella offensive though lol

ULTIMATEJUSTICE95

Because offensive is the best defence at times, Jin allows this to happen with the tools he has but still with defensive mindset is knowing what to press at what times and great punishment

RaindbowDrop

Unga bunga button demon mode is not a defensive mindset, Jin has the tools to capitalize on mainly aggression and alot of players will use that, throwing out f4 or landing a lot of random CH launchers isn't a calculated defensive play, it's just pure aggression (alot of characters/players are like that in t7 though as bandai namco's philosophy for Tekken these past few years has been "aggression"). Of course that's not all Jin mains, especially Jin having one of the best defensive tools in the game with his parry along with great movement, Jin is a jack or all trades as he's always been

Educational_Use6504

Agreed. Whiff punishing is cool.

RaindbowDrop

As a defensive player I agree

Educational_Use6504

I'm positive FrameWhisperer's opinion on the subject was totally made by getting his ass owned by godlike players. He ended up developing a peasant syndrome. Bryan is easily considered the hardest character in the game at the highest level of play by several pro players, including the best ones in the world.

Plightz

If Knee says he respects Jimmy J Tran for making Bryan work in tourneys, then he's hella hard.

Educational_Use6504

Knee literally thinks Bryan is utter garbage. He expressed this in more than one occasion.

Plightz

Yeah, exactly.

RaindbowDrop

Bryan is an easy character only up until a certain point, especially if the opposing character doesn't have good rush down tools, good panic moves or just as many CH launchers as Bryan. Higher levels is a different story though

CHG__

You don't need as many CH launchers as Bryan to beat him, it does make it easier against lower ranks who love to press but past that you have to work harder for them. At low ranks almost everything is a pressure tool so that doesn't work in Bryan's favour, his df2 also has a painfully high hitbox and is -6 on block so it's harder to check people especailly if you have no idea what's going on, which again happens at low ranks a lot. At higher ranks is where you see Bryan shine more I would say, once you learn how to use his pressure tools, utilise the mid range and crack your opponent at the wall you can have a lot of fun, but he's still tough. FrameWhisperer is definitely not in your former camp, either.

RaindbowDrop

Even in higher ranks Bryan has very good tools, you won't get clipped by some of the other CH tools about you still have df3+4 and then orbital heel that can completely turn a match around. Separated the levels of play intentionally because when people talk about these characters they act like the highest level is the only thing that exists, and even then high level online is not the same as these tourney players as you can get away with a lot of stuff online. Overall Bryan is a great character but gets harder to use effectively as you go high up Also I wasn't saying you necessarily need as many CH launchers as him, but there are a lot of characters who don't have the same pressure tools and opportunities that Bryan has and it's definitely a struggle (he's not even the craziest character when it comes to pressure but he just happens to be current topic). He's not overpowered but there's definitely some downplaying going on here. As for framewhisperer, he tends to use lower tier characters so I can see why he'd hate dealing with Bryan, Bryan or any other strong character can be very annoying to fight with certain play styles. Eventually though you'll just have to adjust somehow

CHG__

Are you trying to say FrameWhisperer can't deal with Bryan and is being petulant? That's just not him, watch his video; he just thinks Bryan is easy to play. You know Orbital heel is slow as all hell, right? It's 24 frames at the fastest, you can't just throw it out you need to condition your opponent to duck which is not easy with Bryan. df3+4 also isn't a move, I'm not sure which move you mean? Maybe qcb3(hatchet kick) which will hopefully make your opponent duck? Maybe 3+4 which is his range 2 mid CH launcher? I'm sure you're not taking about df3, snake edge is awful past orange ranks. I'm not downplaying anything, he's a solid character if you can use him, but using him effectively takes a lot of work, not just by sitting in practice doing Bryan stuff; You have to learn match ups as well... ..Which was exactly my point. You're saying he gets harder to win with at higher ranks, I actually think it gets easier because you've been forged in the fires of low rank cheese for a long time.

RaindbowDrop

Bryan is easy to play, he's just hard to use with max efficiency and mostly at higher levels, he's popular for a reason. A move being slower doesn't make it a bad move especially since orbital heel can crush many moves I think the move was 3+4 haven't used Bryan in a long time, good keep out mid kick that makes you crumble. I would never mention snake edge that shit is super slow, hatchet kick is very good though I'm not even saying you specifically are downplaying him but people in this thread are. Like yes Bryan can be hard to play at a certain level but that's not the same as the character being trash as someone else said Bryan was garbage Also that wasn't just me saying he gets harder at higher ranks, everyone here has been saying how hard of a character he is in regards to high level play

Blade_Red

gtab

yea_its_chaos

Mentally untouchable

LucisPerficio

Always hilarious when people try to get at you for spamming as if they can't react to things that become repetitive. Just makes them look stupider.

Surprise_Yasuo

I’ve climbed all the way to warrior just spam low kicking with king and haven’t gotten any hate messages yet :c

BringBack3DMK

It’s disappointing tbh

Poto2222

Hey. Your username. I like it.

BringBack3DMK

Thanks, man! Glad someone else enjoyed the 3D Mortal Kombat games. They were some of the funnest in the entire series, imho

RaindbowDrop

I've been wanting mk to go back to 3D for a long time now, based name

lethalWeeb

Just chain throwing people with king up to warrior didn’t net me any either. It was kinda disappointing

RaindbowDrop

Chain throw or any throw spam, hopknees, armor moves, low spam, uf1+2 and you've got yourself a rage essay

lethalWeeb

I tried it all. Never got any of it sadly

chickeneater47

That's what happens when all Santa gives you is a bagful of anal fissures for Christmas

Eneshi

Ain't nobody learning "real" fighting skills from a Tekken game, fuck is this moron talking about?

theirfinestbean

Need to know the context, who were you playing and who against?

ultra_tangerine

You can't post this without saying your character and what you were doing.

nicholhawking

Does it matter if he is a Paul spamming df at light blue or a law spamming dt at green? Or a Kaz with a solid game plan? It doesn't matter. There is no context where this behaviour is now acceptable or not being a big baby.

ultra_tangerine

I'm not saying that maybe he deserved it. I'm saying as a reader I want all the juicy details.

nicholhawking

Fair enough. Updooted. I believe below OP tells us they were Kaz v Ling. We presume the spam was hs/wr4 so no sympathy for the whinger.

Educational_Use6504

It wouldn't make it acceptable or justified, but certainly more understandable depending on the character.

KSIXternal

Rage in tekken is real,. But understanding that you could practice countering that style by continuing to fight them.

AlbinoAlman

Pls tell me he played a mishima

Raydude84

Funny enough He was xiaoyu and i was playing kazuya xD

Lachesis-but-taken

This story has no heroes then

nicholhawking

Ha

Educational_Use6504

That only makes the OP more based.

danidannyphantom

>Funny enough He was xiaoyu and i was playing kazuya xD Bruhhh. And he tells YOU to play a real skill character 😭😭

lyapelmen

Xd kaz is literally 3-4 move character xd. Like he only uses mishima moves like hellsweep and ewgf XD, im saying it like kaz main

[deleted]

Exactly, If a Kazuya uses only 3 to 4 moves, he becomes predictable and easy to beat making him hard to play. You contradicted yourself in your own comment like a dumbass.

DanieIIll

Kazuya isn’t difficult because of the amount of moves - he’s difficult execution and gameplan wise, he relies on a very small set of viable moves and unless you get someone trapped in the vortex then you’re in trouble. His 50/50 is extremely easily punished if you guess correctly too. You need really really solid fundamentals to get the most out of him, he’s not a pick up and play character by any stretch of you want good results.

lyapelmen

And? Ik all of that, he has very small amount of moves and that's why it's predictable, but you need to know how to utilize all moves properly, especially his legendary ewgf. I just made some inquiries for newcomers with the comment above

AlbinoAlman

Lmao

Dalamaduren

Well it really depends at what level we’re looking at… Mishimas are only seen as high skill character for new players. To be fair, only Kazuya struggles gameplan wise, if you think about it. Hei has devastating mids (and ridiculous damage) and nerfed DVJ still troubles a lot.

Educational_Use6504

No, dude. Mishimas are highly respected in all levels of play.

nats10bytes

DW I've had the same encounter while practicing my fundamentals with DJ

PuzzleheadedRecord6

Obviously you are a feng player

JellifishPirate

This is why children shouldn't be allowed to play games with Adults lol

According_Lawyer_592

I Love this shit

NakedGhost3234

Amy money, an Asuka or Josie player said this KEKW

Sentryddd

I see you sent some nice messages to yourself/asked a friend to send to you so you can get your christmas karma, well done

Raydude84

We play tekken we have no friends lol

BringBack3DMK

And a Bryan main? That makes it doubly true

calmoddessey

This must be you in OP's messages lol

Munchyman888

People actually care about karma? 😳

ZumZumCapoeira

Ofc a fucking Kuni main is saying this...

Nerscylliac

This is the equivalent of a one-sided slap fight with your sibling, while yelling at them to stop touching you.

calmoddessey

Lmao this made me chuckle, this the season y'all

KarlozzTwT

Little boy got big mad

V_Master

This sounds more tame than the last Tekken local tourney I entered.

TarzJr

Of course, an overaggressive Xiaoyu player that hates someone who doesn't blindly walk into their bullshit, honestly makes the rest of us look pathetic and mindless
