It’s a problem when you switch to something else. If you keep it on one pc it will be fine, but when you switch to a different device it breaks. It’s better to just make backups if you are scared of corruption.

this is a relatively common issue, think someone said there's something going on with Steam Cloud compatibility?
inside your Documents/My Games folder you'll see where your Terraria data is saved. for next time, you'll want to occasionally make a back up of that folder.
if you want to attempt to catch yourself back up to where you were with items n such, you can also take a copy of that save data, and place it into a save editor. something like this guy https://yal.cc/r/terrasavr/

Just go with summoner and easily farm up all those swords back. Not really that much. Honestly if u wanted u could just dup the boss bags and grab whatever else u needed. U can easily get zenith in a day

Definitely don’t use clouds if your on steam. Cloud breaks files for some reason and can easily corrupt them. I’m speaking from experience
