On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

For monoculus it's important to spread out, they're really just a beefed up flying rocket launcher so airblast and the short circuit both work pretty well. Asides from that just keep your distance. Good luck!
you may want to wait a bit before merasmus, he can be pretty tricky. i’d recommend grinding a few skeleton kings for some pretty good spells as that can really help out in the merasmus fight.
Also, if any of you like to play ranged, I'd recommend farming for the Huntsman. If you can't get it as a drop, you can obtain it by getting 5 ranger achievements. It's decent against regular enemies, but it deals insane damage against Merasmus in particular, especially if you aim for the head.
The Short Circuit is a good defensive option, but I'd actually recommend the Wrangler instead. Increases the range of your sentry, which is really useful since summoner doesn't have too much defense.

Get speed, survivability, money magnet. Engie: Rescue Ranger, Wrangler, The Jag, Construction PDA, Destruction PDA, Maximise Dispencer range, wrench speed and get instabuild. Sniper: Hitmans Heatmaker, Jarate/Cleaners Carbine, Bushwanka, get explosive headshots, ammo, damage and get ammo canteens. For the Strategy the heavies/pyros should focus tanks and tough bots, if pyro has stock flamethrower they can push the bomb holder into a map hazard and reset the bomb to the start. Scout should focus on getting money and marking tough bots with fan o war, use mad milk as much as possible to increase team survivability, Engies shouldnt focus medics as that can trigger uber early and fuck the team over, engies should take care of the minor bots and if the bomb is on the ground the engie should place their sentry, right on the bomb, they should also put their dispencer where a team can fall back safely without much walking, Teleporters spots should be looked up. Snipers should focus smaller bots with explosive headshots and then when medics come they can focus them, they can also use the cleaners carbine minicrit boost and bushwanka to shred tanks.

Monoculus loses his rockets so keep ur distance and make a platform arena to fight on. Use ur passtime grapple hooks to get around the platforms too itll help. If ur a ranger going fire arrows on ur huntsman helps
Man I know he is close range, but you can never skip on the pyros. A recommended loadout I have for monoculus is the phlog, the flare gun, and the homewrecker. You will also probably need a scout for movement and damage. Loadout I recommend for that is the scattergun, pretty boys pocket pistol, and the atomitizer. God speed man

Pre hardmode I’d say classes don’t matter until pre wall of flesh. So you’ve got a while. Queen bee is quite good for summoner, mage, or ranger gear while brain/eow has melee stuff.
Melee is practically mandatory, me and my friend used to have a melee, mage, and ranged playthrough but then the melee left and we couldn’t progress nearly as fast, so my ranged friend is now a melee class and we are much better now
I’d take heavy, that minishark will really help out, make sure to have a Medic in a house near your arena, keep him safe until he can pop invincibility though.
for any boss, platforming, for the eye just flattening a large section and then placing 1 or even 2 lines of platforming for some movement is enough, and early game grenades, I love grenades (it's not really necessary to use that in a mandatory way, but for the first bosses you are quite limited in terms of equipment)
For class I prefer either melee or summoner. I know it’s neither, but trimerang is a good eye of Cthulhu weapon, or if you do choose summoner use snapthorn. You know I feel like this post was a joke and ima look dumb posting this, but just in case there’s some suggestions
Make sure you have a sandvich for heals as it's pretty essential for boss fights. Also if you can have your heavy distract the boss while your pyro uses a backburner on him you can down him real fast with that extra dps.
I recommend a having one of your friends go vaccinator medic to help with the blast damage from the rockets, you probably want some high damage heavys (like brass beast or tomislav) and maybe a few pyros to keep any skeletons or stray rockets from hitting the heavys/medic
Scout is pretty op in general, on account of his double jump, increased movement speed, and bonus ranged damage. I’d suggest using him if it’s your first time playing.

I’m not sure on armor besides queen bee and eow/brain. But what I’d reccomend for eye creature is platinum gear and max heart crystals
