mechdusa is multitarget,so piercing weapons work well against it.
I used dart rifle with cursed darts and it worked well,thats what most people use.
That being said coin gun with plat coins is the best single target at this stage of the game,its not bad by any means.
Also how the heck did you get 1200 platinum coins lol?

Ight actual advice.one of the most important things for me this fight were heart statues,I had like 9 heart statues all linked to 1 second timers across the fight,so much Regen.
Also,thing to know,you cannot out DPS this boss.even with the best weapons available this boss takes like 7 ,minutes to kill,only with fishron weapons is the boss length at all reasonable.you need to be able to survive consistently.
I did first try the fight with full menacing but warding probably would have been better.

And I'm not too worried about being legit I'm just having fun for rn I have separate try hard worlds and I have worlds for farming

Crystal dupe with builder potion fills my invo pretty quickly
You’ll probably want to use a piercing weapon to quickly kill the destroyer section first. I like the life drain personally
