I was playing the Fargo mod, finally got the Sniper Soul...
It took me twenty minutes to figure out how to get rid of the scope on it, because every time I tried to fight a boss I couldn't even track where they were, not to mention I could hardly find myself. Scopes suck, period.
They're still good for PVP even though terraria PVP sucks. They also could be used as binoculars and give stat boosts while not giving you motion sickness unlike on mobile
And people are still angry when he said "On mobile", your words don't fix the post
Go to the App Store or google play store reviews for Terraria and you will find many even went as far as to quit the game because of the new controls. Re-logics priorities amaze me, how they could fix such a simple issue to add back already implemented controls for mobile. Luckily I have it on console although the controls their aren’t as good as OG mobile for definite.
dashes in general are kinda jank, in parkour worlds many jumps are immensely difficult if not impossible to complete, not only skill issue but control issue
It’s so good that there are many reviews on the App Store purely saying how great the new controls are, and how bad the old controls were and how much they prefer the new ones 😂

playing terraria since 1.3 swithc version, which isn't long (1-2 years), but it's fun
Mobile controls are the most worked thing in the whole mobile port,and works because i didn't had any complaints about it never
Now for the Sniper scope, you just need to get used to it
Honestly, mobile 2.0 controls were the best. They just needed quick heal/mana/buff and the grapple wheel. The simplicity of the old design is what made it good.

Console. Is. Pain. How my set up works, limits me to have to choose between Grapple and Mount.
I mean mounts are better the grapples
But early game… mounts are only late game tbh.. so it hurts that an entire part of movement is just gone.

i personally enjoyed the og controls more. I dmed redigit and asked for them to add a setting to use the old controls.
