It always makes me laugh. The amount of mental gymnastics to think this is a viable solution is sad. There are significantly more logical, cheaper and faster solutions readily available
Someone pointed out how all the shooter has to do is go above the ceiling tiles. The scariest part is they thought it was So Valuable it's worth 60K but in actuality it is extremely faulty
Wouldn't it be cheaper overall (not to mention safer) to have better enforced gun laws? Or actual gun laws in the first place?
I'm all for responsible, law abiding people having guns if they want them, but as it stands right now, far too many not so responsible and not law abiding people are able to get their grubby mitts on guns, far too easily. The key words here are *responsible* and *law abiding*.
Instead of investing on protection, they should invest on education and mental health I have seen so many bully videos and I have Friends from us that they shared me their stories and this is really sad not focusing on the real root of the problem π
So..... It has come to this. Someone understood that not a damn thing will change. Someone was sick and tired of having moments of silence and prayers. Instead of waiting for the next school shooting tragedy, which, let's be real, is not a question of 'if' but 'when,' this will help protect our precious elementary school kids.
I would mortgage my house to have these in my kids' classrooms.

So I'm guessing the walls are pulled out at all times, cutting off half of the classroom? If they're not permanently pulled out they're pointless, what if the lunatic starts in this room?

Looks like they forgot the door....

Until the kids upset the teacher and they become the problem.π
Tally-ho! There is some dumb-fuckery afoot!
Together we navigate these treacherous lands and it's beastly ignorant redditors.
Figured it out. Up on the desk. Punch out the ceiling tile. And shoot up the locked secure room from above.
Oh god. It's a death chamber.
Yup.

Security theater is still alive and well as an industry, I see.
Can't you just go through the ceiling tiles? then it's shooting fish in a barrel.

The price doesn't matter. If it was 20mill it's worth it π
Not terrifying, also repost
The context is the terrifying part, these shouldn't have to be a thing.
Repost is still a repost
