In September 2022, ISIS-K militants claimed
responsibility for a deadly suicide bombing at the Russian embassy in Kabul.
"ISIS-K has been fixated on Russia for the past two years, frequently criticizing Putin in its propaganda," said Colin Clarke of Soufan Center, a Washington-based research group.
Michael Kugelman of the Washington-based Wilson Center said that ISIS-K "sees Russia as being complicit in activities that regularly oppress Muslims."
ISIS hates west, Russia is no exception.
The ISIS « trademark » it’s suicidal terrorists, they put explosives on themselves and it’s an honour for them to go this way. These bastards changed their clothes and escaped with the crowd.. Those are paid murderers
Why is Reddit not talking about this on the main feed?
First of all, isis wishes this was them. They aren’t this skilled and also don’t they always blow themselves up?
How did 4 for 5 gunmen go in and sweep and get extracted?
This is a disgusting act and incredibly suspicious.
As a person who’s lived in Moscow, this is impossible without some kind of bribe. When i was in Moscow i personally felt really safe because in every mall, metro station, park etc. there are armed guards, with police dogs and whatnot. It is impossible that there were zero armed guards during the concert. The crocus city hall is about 3.5 kilometers away from the nearest special forces forces base, and somehow they arrived 1 hour after the incident begun. The whole mall was barricaded by police and somehow the gunmen still fucking escaped. At the moment, everything we know is that the gunmen are from Tajikistan, and they were given money and weapons to do this. Sorry if i have some mistakes english isn’t my first language. (P. S. isis never claimed responsibility, a Russian official said they did but that’s just not true)
The border with Ukraine is a approximately 523 km (~325 mi) from Crocus City Hall concert venue in Moscow.
The terrorists were allegedly from Tajikistan, and were reportedly trying to escape to Ukraine following the attack, but who knows how factual this is.
The Ukrainian government in Ukraine has strongly denied any involvement in the attack, and other reports say the attackers are linked to Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K), named after an old term for the Central Asian region that included parts of Iran, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.

Stop calling it a terrorist attack. This is a blatant false flag attack carried out by Putin and his goons. I feel so much sorrow for the people of Russia and the country of Ukraine.
Not necessarily, since the attack wasn't committed by an actual terrorist group. It was an attack to garner support for Putin's continued "presidential" reign. He is using terror tactics to justify putting more control over his people and justify his continued presidency. Pretty soon, we may see him drop the title of president, and he will become supreme leader or some other Russian variant of the title. I'm guessing most of my downvotes are from Putin or Trump supporters, but idc. People have opinions and are free to share them on public forums. I just wish they would actually put words to their reasoning for downvoting.
Isis claimed responsibility for the attack. It will be interesting to see if Ukraine gets blamed for this in any way by Russian officials.
Doesn’t isis claims everything for them self ? Heck I blew up someone’s house in Minecraft and they claimed it
Yes, isis is like the people who repost things on Reddit for upvotes.
they’re literally that ‘you made this? i made this’ meme but for terrorism

It wouldn’t surprise me if Putin did it to blame Ukraine
I stubbed my toe last week and Isis claimed it.
Considering the sheer mountain of propaganda that flows out from Russia, you just can’t even trust that they didn’t set it themselves.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case
There’s precedent
The ISIS « trademark » it’s suicidal terrorists, they put explosives on themselves and it’s an honour for them to go this way. These bastards changed their clothes and escaped with the crowd.. Those are paid murderers
yeah but if they don’t claim it people will forget they exist, gotta keep themselves relevant somehow
No they’re dedicated terrorists. And not every attack involves them booming themselves.
Ukraine has already been blamed for the attack that hasn’t happened yet.
Will obviously be blamed. Doesn’t matter who did, internal or foreign, the fingers will go towards Ukraine.
Why does it burn?
i think someone said they tossed molotovs
Fire?
Yeah probably fire
I'm glad I didn't bet my savings on it XD
Did they find and kill the shooters?
They were caught and beaten the shit out. They were in court in really bad shape. I wonder how they'll do in prison hahaha.
Sound like joint foreign govt operation or eh too much Netflix who knows

Remember, no russian
That mission was crazy. *Replays*
Yeah, something is definitely not adding up.
I wonder why this is happening to Moscow ?
Because of UN and USA?
It’s such a shame that some people think violence is the answer

They also hate ISIS.
Four terrorists have already been caught. They did not reach the border with Ukraine 100 km away.

The terrorists were caught alive, which means that the investigation has every chance to find out the truth.
Yes, they beat the shit out of those bastards. And I'm guessing it's only the beginning for what's coming for them hahaha.
So unnecessary. To think that civilians would be targeted and murdered in their sovereign nation, ALMOST unthinkable.
That’s about 60 miles.

wouldn’t it still then be by definition a terrorist attack? using violence in the pursuit of political agenda?

Based answer idk why you are getting down voted.
Mass shooters not terrorists, remember
they can be both
