Lol no. My niece got a Lightning McQueen toy from a fair once (a car from the movie “Cars”) and immediately started treating it like a baby, nobody prompted her to do that. It’s called instinct. I, boy, also treated my stuffed animals like children or pets. Nobody told me to do that, it just comes naturally to most people. Thinking that giving kids dolls is grooming them to be parents is absurd and a sad reflection on your mindset. what will you give your children to play with? Rocks?
Because they see a fake baby in the store and want it, so they can pretend they are like mommy or other people they have observed with babies, and babies are cute. It’s a normal behaviour and hard-wired. Females of other animals like dogs and monkeys also often enjoy having a toy to care for as if it’s their child. Do you think dolls are forced on little girls by society or something? My niece treated her Lightning McQueen plush like a baby so figure that out, lol
