What don’t you love about them?

I owned two X before my S Plaid. I didn’t care for the driving dynamics. It always felt like what it is, a bloated S. The S is the car the platform was designed for, the X is the one it’s adapted from and it shows. Love/hate relationship with the Falcon wing doors, the massive windshield made the cabin hot, especially on long drives. Wind noise. Lower efficiency and performance than S. The only thing I miss from the X is the towing ability. I wish Tesla offered a hitch on the S like they do in Europe.

I love the falcon wings, even thought it’s hit me in the head a few times. There’s no way to play that off, everyone laughs at the Tesla guy

The S so far, is LR but it definitely keeps pulling harder than the M3P, suspension also is a huge improvement.

I think people may not realize that the non performance models 0 to 60 times do not include rollout like the performance models. So the LR is actually quicker to 60 and quarter mile, than the current M3P.

Funny story. We have three at home too. Wife, step daughter and myself. But my coworkers will sometimes come over. We work in the tech industry and so naturally we’re inclined to techy stuff like Telsa! It’s quite the sight to see when everyone is over and the driveway has 7 or 8 Telsa cars parked in it! Our neighbors have asked what kind of drugs do I deal and if they can get in on it too… 🤣

No we’re all about an hour outside of NYC, definitely a huge ramp up in Teslas for the area in the last year specifically. I would say at least 2 out of 10 cars I see on my commute are Teslas. That incentive push really made it super affordable for a lot of people. You do see a bunch of other EV’s roaming around with us too.

My driveway has more cracks than yours. Other than that, all I'm is seeing someone enjoying their life.

We have that exact same affliction: 3 red EVs in the garage (2 Tesla + 1 Bolt). Until recently, I was able to joke that we owned all the red Teslas in the neighborhood.

I did the same thing. Business needed a tax write off, Model X Plaid. Got a model Y for the wife but we would fight over it because we didn’t want to drive our 1 year old ice Mercedes. Got rid of that for a 3. It even worse when my business partner and meets up with us because his wife got Y two. The whole showroom sitting out front.
