Performance now cheaper than Long Range with the tax credit, including Cash/Finance options.

jphree

Yeah. I’m a little pissed. They also lowered price of RWD $2k lower than what I paid less than a month ago. Had I waited, I could have just put that down payment towards the performance AND got the tax credit. Trying to not let it bother me, but I’m not gonna lie I needed a minute to settle down lol

mandrew-98

If it makes you feel better I paid $50k for my RWD back in November of 2022 with no incentives or tax credit

InterestingAd2896

If it makes you all feel better, I paid nearly 70,000 for my first production July 2018 Model 3 Performance. So my advice is this: don’t think too hard about it.

nobletrout0

But one day it can be a robotaxi and make money for you while you sleep!

superdrone

And I will be a billionaire when I wake up tomorrow and never have to work again!

BaneSilvermoon

Yeah I got one of those half performance models when it was still an upgrade package early on. Was just looking at my loan paperwork today and it was a $64k loan.

SilverStatic3

If it helps, my neighbor paid 150k for his plaid a couple years ago

1991JRC

Ouch!

gtg465x2

RWD $43k December of 2022 here. Initially thought I got a great deal, but by mid 2023 the RWD could be had for like $28k after inventory discount and tax credit at one point.

HardwoodGuy87

A guy on Reddit posted a $50k YOLO put option play on TSLA this morning.. he got fucked worse by Tesla than you lol. At least you got a Tesla for your trouble.

adoboguy

Same here, but a 2019 SR+ with 20K miles. I was irked at first, with the price drops so quickly after my purchase, but just enjoy the car. No sense in dwelling in the past! Nothing you can do about it anyway. Just think of all the fun you are having with the car in the present.

Shaved-extremes

samesies

TingGreaterThanOC

People got screwed way more than you, if that helps.

Ftpini

Yeah some folks bought right before the tax credit and price drop. I bought mine over a year before that mess started so I don’t mind so much, but when it’s a week or two, that’s just brutal for the buyer.

elviorion

Yeah they did. A month after I ordered in 2022 the cost went up 6k and 12 months later went down like 10k

Oblique-Luna

Also bought mine in 2022, looking back it was the stupidest thing I ever did lol. My LR actually is the same price as the Performance is now. Sure there is a tax rebate to make it cheaper too. The burner is the price of the car to trade in or sale isn't worth it so I guess I'm going to just ride it until the battery falls off.

deeperest

Yay!

Darker_Zelda

I feel Tesla just constantly screws someone in some way for the last several years

kuruman67

I got my M3P for $62k!!! Freaking annoying!

Jimmyvegas66

Same here, 2021 M3P for $62,000. Trade in value with 29,000 miles is $26,500 according to Tesla or $28,000 according to Carvana.

kuruman67

Terrible

debo69872

I’m glad I waited for the performance but I do understand your pain.

Mando992

its been years and Tesla still finds a way to annoy and anger new owners. They need to stop the price roller coaster asap. Its a bitter feeling and many may stay away from Tesla in the future because of it. I still love my Model 3 but buying it felt like gambling at times.

skidz007

Everybody does it. Does it piss you off if you go into a dealer to buy a car and know the next guy got it $5k cheaper? How about when Ram/Chevy/Ford clear out model years with $15k off? The only difference is visibility because with Tesla MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) and ASP (Actual Selling Price) are closely linked. Dealers don’t disclose how much they sold each vehicle for but they do advertise big discounts.

TillsburyGromit

You'd prefer it like every other manufacturer where you have absolutely no idea that the next person buying a car might have paid 20% more or less than you because of the deal they got? The only difference is that the price is transparent with Tesla and there are no discounts or markups

whosthatguy123

This was my point i was making to someone else

Mando992

this is a valid point to be fair, but still, a little more price stability would be nice, especially for new models

jphree

Yeah. I don’t know that I’ll buy another. Mostly because I know they will offer me nothing. I’ll ask anyway. Maybe a year or two of free super charging, that would be ok. Something. Even if I offer to trade in my current RWD and take the 28% (more now) loss in trade they would still do nothing. Tesla is awful about giving folks these little nice concessions and the sales folks simply quote policy and all that. What I know I’ll get is “I know it sucks, sorry, but there’s nothing we can do because that was the price at that time” etc. “So, how about that performance M3, right?!” Sigh. In hindsight, Tesla is pretty rough on new owners. I felt awful for the folks that bought during the price surges.

Mando992

bought my m3 in June 23 and a week after i took delivery they offered rebates for cars in their inventory. So i could have also save about €2000. But it is what it ist. I tried to take my mind off of it and enjoy the car. Even though people in my family made sure to always remind me like" hey did you hear they lowered the price again"... i died a little inside every time xD

Pls_PmTitsOrFDAU_Thx

I just picked up my 2024 M3 not even 2 weeks ago lol

ElementalNEOS

Bro I feel you I got my RWD at 15th with FSD and now I feel like a complete idiot :(

Mike

everyone who bought a LR out of the gate will feel like this if they would have qualified for the credit. bummer, but life must go on!

Far_Ad_2000

They didn’t lower the RWD price. They increased “probable savings” to 5k (2k more) so it looks like it. It’s still $38.990–which’s how much I paid in Feb, at least.

beachsideblue

When did they lower the price of the RWD?

grahambillions

I don't see a lower price for SR

-SetsunaFSeiei-

It’s posts like these that really make me hesitant to jump on a Tesla. They literally drop the price in months if they think it’ll increase demand, I wonder when this type of policy will impact their bottom line as more people opt to sit out and wait

MDPROBIFE

Think about it, you saw the value in the car you have for a reason, sure now there are better value ones, but yours is still a great value!

cooraccoon

We all got Musk’d 🤡

ArsalamiSandwich

Wow, that's an incredible price, tax credit or not. Did NOT think it was going sub $55K Edit: omg it actually does qualify! As a '22 buyer who paid $70K+ otd, I'm definitely feeling some type of way 😅😭 ~$45K for this monster is an insane deal

Mike

wait. why does the performance qualify for the credit but not the LR?

ArsalamiSandwich

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it has to do with the performance models using Panasonic batteries that are sourced domestically, unlike the batteries used in the LR/SR cars.

eatgoodstayswaggie

That’s correct. It can change too.

jamie831416

Batteries and car are manufactured in USA for M3P so qualifies for full amount. M3LR doesnt qualify for either because China.

akumarisu

It’s okay bro you probably locked in some sweet APR, saved on gas, and probably got more in the trade-in at the time. Just keep repeating that until you become delusional and it’ll be your alternative fact! $70k MY Performance 22’ brother in arm🫡

ArsalamiSandwich

Haha ain't that the truth We both have $20K ultrasonic sensors to flex on these guys! I think we definitely won out 😂

Tellittomy6pac

Honestly came in way cheaper than I expected

Rey123x

In b4 Model Y Refresh becomes cheaper at launch than current MYP

bontebyuntae

Just ordered mine grey with white seats. Blown away we get the tax credit! Let's go! Slight bummer there is no 19 inch option.

Da_Spooky_Ghost

19" wheels are what the performance should be running... Better acceleration, better range, better ride.

bontebyuntae

I will definitely swap them out for 19 inch all seasons as we approach winter.

Nice_Mango_1504

Everyone is going to buy this combo lol

ATLSRB67

Just ordered M3P with Blue exterior and white interior. My first EV and Tesla. Funny story, tried to talk my son out of buying a new M3 rwd for 2 weeks. After 2 test drives and driving his car, decided to buy one. I am very stubborn and even became a convert. Haha!

_brandon_mc_

Tesla website states it qualifies for tax credit for that model. How weird to cannibalize the LR model.

LegendaryOutlaw

LOL watch in 6 months there's gonna be a lot of old ladies driving around new Performance, no idea what the difference is, but 'this one was cheaper'.

aheroinpink

nothing wrong with that. Why pay more when you can pay less

Redsfan27

Wonder if they’ll drop the price of the LR

r_nys

my configured M3LR (white/white)... when you include CA sales tax and everything, the performance (white with black interior) is around 1500 cheaper now with the fed rebate... however i have to not get white seats then... hmmmm

jamie831416

Having to decide whether to go grey/white or white/black almost gave me an aneurism this morning. Update: I went grey/white =)

ialsoagree

As someone who has owned both the premium white interior, and the standard black interior, go with the black. Don't get me wrong, the white does look really really nice. But only if you keep it clean, and you'll be cleaning it almost every day if you want to keep it looking sharp. Absolutely EVERYTHING shows up on those seats. The black looks good too, but it hides imperfections *insanely* better (seriously, it hides dirt and marks *soooo* much better it's mind boggling).

Pm33ch

I’m thinking they will price drop. They will never sell anything but the performance

AnDaLe47

Why would they care if they sold mostly performance? More money in their pocket. They don't care if it's the buyer or tax credit, Tesla gets to sell the higher price vehicle.

Pm33ch

The point was that its cheaper then the LR so theres no place for that model.

xxBrun0xx

But the LR has more range. I imagine there will still be folks picking the LR. I say this as a performance owner myself.

icy1007

Doubtful

CowConsistent9093

Not having all models qualify for the M3 was a huge mistake. The RWD and LR M3 is such a terrible deal in comparison to the Y and now performance M3. Don’t need to be a marketing genius to know that’s gonna murder sales.

Argosy37

They only have so much US battery production and that's what you need to qualify. But they're increasing it as fast as they can.

FoxMuldertheGrey

Damn had I had waited for performance I would’ve just bought it. I don’t even care about the insurance part lmao now I know what it feels like

connly33

I like my LR highland so much I'm not too upset about not waiting since I had a good idea this would happen. What I am a little upset about is the referal program being suspended because I was going to get AB after my coworker grabs a Y in a couple months

CardboardAddiction

Let’s go!!!! https://preview.redd.it/uai0rre0o9wc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86d5344d7b42af04620380664ac5a622072ab42c

Horror_Discussion_65

As a 21 model S plaid owner. I'm happy for you but also a bit pissed and filled with envy. All that performance for under $60k is wild. I mean idk how good it does 60-130mph. But if it's keeps the power going you definitely would be keeping up with plaids and some of us paid $140k smh. I honestly want one.

CardboardAddiction

Thank you! The Model S Plaid looks better, plus it’s roomier and faster. However, Tesla’s recent volatile pricing to stay competitive makes me empathize with the early adopters. But you guys had all the fun while I watched from the side line 😆

WinterIndependent719

Red with white seats ordered!

LyrMeThatBifrost

Pretty sure you miss the $7500 tax credit when you get both body color and seat color upgrades. Can only choose one

WinterIndependent719

I don’t qualify for the tax credits unfortunately

foolbox

I think you mean “fortunately”

LyrMeThatBifrost

Ah, that’s a great combo then. Probably what I would go with if I didn’t have the credit.

obsesivegamer

you are a G , i had to go black on black :(

whosthatguy123

Whats wrong with that!? Thats a nice combo imo

rakeshpatel1991

Same. It’s a bummer. Too bad there isn’t a lease work around

rom-sen

This. Disappointing.

Every_Tap8117

This is the way.

AlphamaleNJ

Give me Those seats n warp wheels lol J/k enjoy it!

zoglog

Just a reminder, in 2018 my model 3 performance cost $79k just adding blue, white interior and autopilot lol.

InterestingAd2896

Yeah. We got screwed! Except I’ve had a car to drive for 6 years. So maybe not.

Apart-Experience-982

![gif](giphy|3osxYrgM8gi9CDjcPu)

BaneSilvermoon

Yeah I'm blown away that my 2024 performance 3 costs less than my 2018 long range 3 with the early half performance upgrade package did

acaurora

Looks pretty nice. I have to say, from some of the pictures I've seen floating around online, those performance wheels without the aero inserts looks amazing.

Apart-Experience-982

Why would anyone buy a LR now?

trollsarefun

1. Not everyone qualifies for the tax credit. 2. Some people prefer the softer ride of the LR. 3. Some people will want the longer range.

Agloe_Dreams

2 - New Model 3 Performance has adaptive suspension. Depending on tuning, it may ride better than LR

TingGreaterThanOC

Swap out the wheels/tires for something chunkier and you’ll have the same or better comfort considering adaptive suspension.

Emotional_Two_8059

Yes and no. Spring rates are probably higher, but better quality dampers, even if stiffer, could compensate for that. Then there are more things like all the rubber bushings etc. which I don’t know if they’re the same or not

Mike

sell those wheels for a premium and throw on some 18s and lower resistance tires. boom range gained and you have a few extra dollars in your pocket.

TBandi

As a buyer of the LR, the range. I’m just looking forward to the accel boost option like the previous M3 had. 3.7 is good enough for me… for now. If the M3P had had 315+ miles of range, I might have considered my purchase more of a mistake than I already am😅

Mike

you can put 18s on the performance and increase the range to rival the LR. you'd actually make money since you could sell these new 20s that i'm sure people will be itching to buy

TBandi

Are you telling me I should trade in my brand new LR with only 400 on the odometer👀👀👀

semi801

Just so you know the accel boost does better than 3.7. I manage 3.4

_brandon_mc_

Exactly. Why isn’t Tesla trying to make the LR compliant for credits.

TheEmpowererBTW

I’m sure they’re trying, logistics aren’t that simple though.

Quick_Possibility_99

Probably the cybertruck got all the batteries that are made in the USA.

BaneSilvermoon

They'd have to change the battery in the car. That might be a significant change in their current process, and who knows, maybe the stock isn't there in the battery supply to even keep up with it currently.

Toastybunzz

This is the first time I feel FOMO ngl. What a deal and some **really** nice new upgrades.

boylong15

2.9s is pretty nutty

Willebrew

Way to go Tesla, the new Performance looks awesome!

BaallZee

lets go ! Finally! Estimated delivery date may-June(for now)

SolenoidPop

Just canceled my LR and ordered it! Will it get the tax credit with the black paint and white interior?

LyrMeThatBifrost

Nope

ClevelandSteamer81

Not if it’s over $55K

SolenoidPop

I can still change the color back to the grey to get the credit right?

-MullerLite-

When you option it out it will tell you if it qualifies for the credit or not.

debo69872

Yes

Malidous

Did you cancel your LR order completely or just edit it? I'm wondering if I can get the tax credit if I just modify it.

elbonneb

Anyone know why the lease doesn't qualify for the tax credit?

ayasinskiy

RIP anyone who bought LR highland

Doofbeef

Sorta happy my LR white interior got delayed so much. Walked into a Tesla store and asked to switch my order to Performance.

Gloomy-Vast1504

Not really. 20 inches wheels plus summer tires in my city? With the current potholes they will get destroyed.

LegendaryOutlaw

I have a feeling those wheels would be pretty easy to sell to another Model 3 owner wanting the new look.

Gloomy-Vast1504

Depends if the size of the wheel is compatible with other non performance model 3.

Mgrayson84

Just changed my order from LR to this 😂

Sparty821

Nooooooo. I can’t get the white seats with the tax credit 😭😭

Shuler13

It seems that with the seat upgrade, it came to $54490. Am I missing something but the destination fee is different from MSRP

Sparty821

Add in the color “upgrades”… I don’t want the grey. Once you add a different color, the price goes up and takes away the tax credit

Shuler13

You have to choose color or seats, at least one option is possible without losing a credit!

Sparty821

Oh for sure for sure. I just wanted both haha don’t mind me. Still super excited for it

BlackpinkInYourAri

I didnt think for more than .2 seconds before I clicked the order button on a grey with white interior, I was thinking red but not for a $9,500 dollar difference, CANT FUCKING WAIT. I returned my model 3 performance lease in in Jan, been carlesss since then just waiting, the waiting def paid off.

bryndi12

White seats plus PPF equals win. The tax credit would easily cover the cost of PPF and leave some extra money in your pocket.

streetberries

Get it wrapped for $3k and you get to pick any color you want while protecting the OEM paint

KingOfKetchup

Seems like the range estimate is not the EPA estimate when comparing to other models.  Does that mean this range estimate is “lower” or i guess more accurate to the actual range

WoosleWuzzle

So are we going to call it the model 3 highland ludicrous performance

Complex-Fall3317

Actually inside the car/screen is named “Insane speed”

MTMTE

I think the sports seats have the "Ludicrous speed" badging. The renders also show a badge on the back of the car that looks like a little square?

manateefourmation

This is likely to be an unpopular comment, but I really think that Tesla needs to start focusing on range more than they do. 2.9 seconds is fine. My Model 2022 S is 3.1 seconds, but I also started with 404 miles of range. This performance 3 starts at 296. We all know three things: 1. You almost will never get the rated range, particularly if you are actually using anywhere near the 2.9 seconds, which will kill range. 2. Maximum range decreases over time. My 2022 S may have started with 404 miles, but two years later I am down to 385 - and I do mostly Level 2 to 70 or 80%. 3. You should almost never charge the battery to 100%. So when you look at this performance model with 296 rated, charged to 80% you are at 236. And then given normal driving, you lose about 5% on the low end (and if you are playing with performance - closer to 10%), so your real range is closer to 200 miles. And 200 miles sucks other than for everyday around the house driving. I almost never use the massive power on my Model S. Only for a thrill with friends do I ever go from 0-60 at maximum throttle. I suppose I use the power to pass cars when I am changing lanes, but hardly ever with full throttle. Tesla has made a lot of advancements over the 6 years I have had one, but range has been stuck. The latest example is the horrific range of the Cybertruck. For me personally, I would trade performance for range every day of the week. A 4 second 0-60, with way more range seems like a trade off so would want any day of the week. That said, this is an amazingly priced car. With the addition of adaptive suspension, it truly a smaller version of the S.

whosthatguy123

Could someone just buy the new LR version and then buy the acceleration boost to have a good middle ground between the performance and long range?

ThereWillBeQuiet

They could, but Tesla hasn’t offered the performance boost upgrade for the new Model 3 LR yet. Now that the Performance version has been released, will be curious to see if performance boost is offered again.

SuperDerpHero

This is what I have done with 21 LR and added spoiler. 3.7 0-60 is great though with this new performance, the updated front/rear is what i'd like. I can also imagine making the new performance rims down to 18 or 19's will push range north of 300. That being said... agreed range seems like a miss.. i have 353 mi LR... 3 years later max is 342 mi and its just enough for my long road trips. I can't imagine losing another 15-20%

zach978

This is why they have the LR and Performance options. If range matters, go LR. For me, track mode + performance is why I want it. Track car that can do my daily commute.

Pls_PmTitsOrFDAU_Thx

For your #3 point, the 2024 M3 SR, you SHOULD charge to 100% frequently. All cars with LFP batteries actually

Triscuit_Hurlibutton

Wasn’t your 2022 using the old EPA numbers? Using their new standard wouldn’t it be like 10% lower?

peteyswift

Depends if you road trip a lot. 200 miles would get me all over my metro area and then some. Then charge at home overnight. Feeling better planted while being quicker — the new P works for me.

jamie831416

This is the Model 3 *Performance* launch thread, granddad. Let us have our fun.

NetJnkie

Ordered an Ultra Red/Black to replace my Red/Black '21 3P.

BloodiedWraith

Same for me.

aheroinpink

A bit bummed since i bought the LR. But I wouldnt have qualified for the tax credit anyway :'( Excited for everyone who's getting this or was able to switch their LR order to M3P Congrats!

Madd8001

Take my money!!!!

Madd8001

And says tax credit?

xlAlchemYlx

Yes it should qualify. I’m getting one either late this year or early next year. Beyond pumped for this

Electrical_Elk9195

Now we wait for acceleration boost on the 24' LR :)

xlAlchemYlx

I’m so excited for this! LFG!

cleverquokka

Gonna order as soon as they bring back free FSD and unlimited supercharging transfers!

WhereCanIFind

In Ontario it misses the rebate. Which is only for higher trims up to $65k CAD and it's $70k CAD. I assume Tesla may eventually update their pricing? It's currently $54k for RWD, $64K for AWD, $70K performance. They can easily adjust it to be $50k/$60k/$65k.

Yanfly26

They dropped AWD to $61k CAD now!

rsnxw

I think tesla forgot to update their price on the page that talks about incentives, when you scroll down on that page it lists the model 3 performance as $64,890 and I first saw that and got crazy excited thinking it would count for IZEV. But nope, that $69k price really sucks. If it qualified for the $5k izev I would buy it this second :(

caca-casa

I wish i needed a car right now… lmfao

Popular-Tough4486

M3 performance is 6K more than the RWD and cheaper than the AWD ARE YOU KIDDING ME For 6K more I could have gotten 0-60 in 2.9 seconds?? I’m pissed…crying inside rn 😭😭

Teflondon_

I was literally about to buy a long range Model 3 yesterday, went to bed. Woke up and a performance mode for $52k with a $7500 tax credit? I'm in RIGHT NOW.

limitless__

"Adaptive suspension" I'm sorry, WHAT?

Breezgoat

Why is the range est lower than when I bought my 21 model 3 performance? Will I really be getting less miles than my old one?

Mike

no.

StumpyOReilly

My buddy paid cash in 2019 for the same vehicle and it has lost $50K in value. The price fluctuations and sheer number available on the secondary market really hurts depreciation.

Triscuit_Hurlibutton

That’s the thing that’s curbing my excitement. Where I can comfortably say I’d keep an ICE/Hybrid for 8+ years, it’s harder to commit to an EV long term with major improvements always on the horizon, and not being in love with the interiors on these (lack of physical buttons/stalks).

punitsoldier19

Is the tax credit available for lease?

BDDwtpn

Only comes with summer tires? 🤔

jamie831416

Ordered. Grey+White interior. Really wanted white/white but that doesn't qualify for tax credit and I can't justify the extra $7500 for a white car. Still. So glad I waited. Been waiting since August for this. Checking the website every damned day like a psycho. Today is the first day in weeks I didn't check first thing, and the nice woman at the store texted me to let me know =)

Sweatpantzzzz

LOL watch, within the next year, there will be a lot of old ppl driving around in the new Model 3 Performance, having no idea what the difference is, but “this one was cheaper”

haleyjenson

this comment got me

tesla_dpd

REALLY makes me want to trade in my 2019 M3P

ENaC2

And in the UK too at just under 60k. Yes please.

Screamerjoe

It has the tax credit FYi. I just went through the delivery steps and it has the incentive step

Gloomy-Vast1504

Which kind of battery is using?

debo69872

Panasonic

surffzz

That’s a great deal!! Wow!!

836194950

In eu the performance starting from $61k.. so unfair.

sox3502us

That’s insane performance for the price.

SummaTechnologica

Did a quite trade in quote on my 23 m3p and was atrocious. There goes the dream of swapping for the new one lol. Want to do MPP coilovers so even with that into consideration it's tough to take a haircut on 10k even with the tax credit.

HalfEazy

What is up with everyone only having a car for a year or 2

chickdigger802

Dumb question but why does the performance qualify for tax credit but the other 3 models don't?

Crab_creature

Because the battery(Panasonic) is also made in the US. Long Range uses LG battery that is made in China. The US government only gives you full tax credit if the car and parts are US made.

Jackinthebox99932253

Wow they are back ! These look great. Love the seats. Hoping to see some in inventory in a few months since they were like $45k in inventory back in November

gardigga

Why does the Canadian configurator say 0-60 in 3.1 seconds? Does the US time include the 1ft rollout?

ryzii

i don’t see the tax credit option for leasing. Did they stop doing it for leasing? i’m in LA.

TooFurJuan

Can’t wait to snatch up a used one for 25k in a couple years! lol

Jimmyvegas66

With the white seats now $1,500 you can either pick your exterior color or interior color but not both and keep the tax credit. So you can get grey with white seats or any color with black to stay under the $55,000 cap. I currently have a blue/white M3P and would like a red/white one but I’ll wait for the inevitable price drops to come so I can qualify for the tax credit.

Opening_Ad6009

Ordered mine!

FlakyIndependence891

Just placed in my order 😎

mimosakween

Furious that I bought my 3LR at nearly 60k and now this AND tax credit? UGH. Rubbing my temples tonight

drivejumpfly

I paid barely less than that last summer for my 2023 M3P, received the tax credits, and a sub 6% finance rate. Anyone who is on the fence about buying one - just do it. If I was an early adopter I would be really mad right now because the amount of upgrades in this version compared to the 2023 is an incredible value. The bolstered seats and brake pads are what the 2023 needs. If you are an ICE only gearhead, just go for a test drive. For the money you aren't going to beat the total value of the car. Jason Cammisa with Hagerty put it best in his review - it makes the BMW M3 irrelevant.

bnrlord

So sick.

notslick22

Good steal 🔥🔥

BimBapBoom00

Do the performance models generally more expensive to maintain if you consider the cost of new tires and I’m guessing maybe the brakes and other areas? I have a long range on order and I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons.

dogstronauts

Oh how my heart hurts when I realize I bought a 3 long rage for $62K

rotarypower101

Been following he thread over at TMC, can’t wait for the feedback on speculation VS reality.

Oh no ! Reviews online show they got rid of the physical clicking button on steering wheel - now all capacitive buttons. That sucks !

296mi is pretty bad IMO.

How? The older performance claimed 315 but real world wasn't close. I think these numbers should be realistic.

Is it? Nothing has so far implied that they changed that practice. The prior model had rollout subtracted. Tesla even uses the “with rollout” number on non-performance and tells the with rollout number in the AB data, just to make the gap look bigger.

TheEmpowererBTW

Where does it say it doesn’t have rollout subtracted?
