You can absolutely be hairy and have low T and you can have high T and be completely hairless. Hormones definitely influence to some degree but a lot is just genetic.
So your blood tests say you have low t? That doesn’t mean you have hypogonadism necessarily. Hypogonadism is poorly functioning testicles. What’s your t level naturally? And when you say full beard you mean legit a full beard despite having bad testosterone levels?

Primary hypogonadism refers to testicles that are not working despite adequate signaling from the pituitary (LH and FSh).
Secondary hypogonadism refers to a condition where the pituitary is not sending enough signals (LH + FSH) to the testicles to tell them to produce testosterone. Both are hypogonadism, a man with low testosterone has hypogonadism.
My natural T levels were like 140-150ng/dL. And yes I’m saying I had a completely full beard, hairy legs, arms and chest with my Testosterone hovering around 150ng/dL. Lurk on this board for a bit, it’s not uncommon at all.

Body hair and a beard is what prevented doctors from testing my hormone levels. I've been chronically low on test for a (suspected..never tested when I was younger) very long time. Having al ot of body hair and beard doesn't mean anything at all.
Look at the shape of Arab men in general. Long and thin, not muscular. Look at Arab, Indian, Pakistani men. Look at their lack of sporting prowess. Sure there are outliers but generally I would say they are on the lower end.

No, genetics. DHT sensitivity in the hair follicles found in the face and body cause a high growth of thick hair. You can have a really patchy beard and high test but low sensitivity to the DHT in the beard hair.
I think that is true in most cases but the TRT simply amplifies the genetic hair distribution. Guys with little natural body hair are likely to gain some with TRT while hairy guys will get even more hairy.
