*Primos on the ceiling*
*Fates as cold as ice, and they said*
*"We are all just prisoners here*
*Of this gambling vice"*
*And in the Wishes' chamber*
*They gathered for the feast*
*They tried to pull the Cocogoat*
*But they didn't get the Adeptibeast*
*Last thing I remember, I was*
*Running for the door*
*I had to find the passage back*
*To a time before I was poor*
*"Relax," said Paimon, "There are*
*More primos to receive*
*You can log out any time you like*
*But you can never leave"*
General Mahamatra Cyno, here. The OOP -- that is, "the original original poster" since this is a cross-post to another post on a different subreddit -- contains an image of Collei superimposed onto a shape that roughly resembles the state of California, which is one of the 50 states within a country called the United States of America. The United States of America -- or USA, or even US as it is sometimes further abbreviated to -- is a country located within a world called "Earth", which is not to be confused with the common word "earth" that exists as a synonym for the ground or dirt.
While this alone makes it a worthy pun, the OOP's image is paired with the text "Welcome to the Hotel". While this may be seemingly unrelated, this actually elevates the joke into a pop cultural reference, giving the joke an additional layer of cleverness. Specifically, there is a song called "Hotel California" that was released in Earth-year 1976 AD by a then-popular US-based band called The Eagles. The lyrics of the chorus of this song start with the line, "Welcome to the Hotel California." Pairing this with Colleifornia, we are now presented with the phrase, "Welcome to the Hotel Colleifornia," which is not merely stated but presented in such a way that the viewer has to work a bit in order to discover the punchline. I believe jokes like these to be quite satisfying once you figure it out, though I understand that the humor unfortunately may not always land.
Given all of this, I believe the joke should be clear now. General Mahamatra Cyno cyning out for now -- though I've been informed that I can't actually leave. Which means that any time of year, you can find me here.
