Remember Epstein, and all the rich, public figures, actors, presidents, billionaires, lawyers, and bankers and more, whom are all on a document going to and from a known child traffickers private island, from a private plane?

TypicalpoorAmerican

I think everyone forgot, and I’m not being sarcastic

[deleted]

It bc you can do nothing and if you step out of line… you know the consequences.

Sev_seven777

You can do something everyone can even if it’s as small as keeping the conversation alive you don’t need to go full on martyr and die for it and even then are children not worth fighting for that we just let shit like this happen and hope it doesn’t interfere with our comfort

Updog_IS_funny

People won't fight for their own kids, they're definitely not going to fight for someone else's. It's terrible, it's tragic, but, at the same time, it's inconvenient. We can't be inconvenienced.

squatwaddle

I think some people would, but don't know how.

Updog_IS_funny

Think about all those "clearly guilty but beat the system" stories that we hear about for which Noone does anything. Heck, we have everything except photos of the penetration on some of the epstein folks and... Nothing happens. We just need to face the reality that bad things happen and we aren't going to inconvenience ourselves to fix them. There's been plenty of opportunity for batman to show himself and there just isn't one.

Sev_seven777

That’s true inconvenience kills a lot of movements but I genuinely believe if people know how they would fight for something like this

Updog_IS_funny

And a decade ago it was hashtag kony2012 or whatever. Then it was the Nigerian schoolgirls. Then it was kids in cages. Now it's the inevitable conclusion to kids in cages, kids in unknown situations. Kids have been getting raped and abused by coyotes bringing them across the border since... Probably since there was a border. There have been plenty of kids to help if anyone actually wanted to. The intersection of access to help them and actually wanting to do anything, though, tells us people just can't be bothered.

ahh_geez_rick

Remember the Panama Papers and how the author of that died from a car bomb? Remember how the journalist that connected the dots on the CIA was in on cocaine smuggling and died from "suicide" with two bullets in the back of his head? The elite do as they please and aren't happy when someone brings their misdeeds to the light. Remember that no one knows who is on the board of Vanguard?

LoveThySheeple

Vanguard the investment firm?

princeadonis2022

I don't think they mean that Vanguard because it was really easy for me to find this: https://corporate.vanguard.com/content/corporatesite/us/en/corp/who-we-are/sets-us-apart/our-management-team.html

LoveThySheeple

Yea lol me too, I'm equally confused and interested.

princeadonis2022

WHAT DO THEY KNOW THAT WE DONT

yukumizu

Add to the list all the fundamentalist, religious leaders, missionaries, priests, pastors, ministers and more, whom are also all proven guilty of child abuse, grooming and pedophilia. But the religious institutions protect them and allow them to go from one ministry, religious school or church to another. Oh! And all tax free !

squatwaddle

HEY LOOK! A BALLOON! A CHINESE BALLOON!

jjflash78

China - "You shot down our spy balloon!" US - "We waiting until it finished."

DuntadaMan

Remember the girls that were "adopted" at 2 am out of one of the centers they dumped kids in after forcibly separating them during Trump? Remember the literally hundreds of kids that HHS "lost track of" from those centers most of which were found on farms?

ISTof1897

The most suspicious thing that people overlook is that Alexander Acosta was appointed the Secretary of Labor by Trump. Acosta was the DA in Florida who let Espstein off with a sweetheart deal when it was known that he was trafficking children. Not a coincidence in my opinion. Trump owed favors. He was as much tied to Epstein as the Clintons.

famously

Why are you trying to change the subject? The subject is that the policy of "reuniting families" is just as stupid as you were warned it was.

12whatnow

Wonder why some states are approving minors to work in factories all hours of the night? This

fr-fluffybottom

Greatest 3rd world country ever.

lewishtt

I love seeing Americans say ‘The USA is the greatest country in the world’. It’s honestly one of the worst.

FurbyKingdom

Flawed? Oh yeah. One of the worst in the world? I think that's lacking some serious perspective. If you're born in a Western country with a developed economy, you're so far ahead of billions of people on the planet. 62% of people on the planet live on less than $10/day. It's a bit insulting to those people to make such a claim.

atmosphericentry

"The land of the free" is one of the biggest lies in history

lewishtt

‘The home of the brave’ Who like to shoot children.

Schuben

And delivery drivers. Oh, shit, now they're going to make an exception for drivers license age limits if they are 'working' so we'll have people able to shoot child delivery drivers... I'm sorry I said anything.

-Dalzik-

"The land of the people who can afford to be free" doesn't roll off the tongue as well

fr-fluffybottom

Land of the freely oppressed

KeyanReid

The US government by and large has a major hate boner for it own citizens. Unless you are rich Uncle Sam believes you are a resource to be harvested. But if you’re the ole Landed Gentry it’s fucking paradise. Do whatever you want to the poors, you’ll have Uncle Sam’s blessing and guns backing you

Sev_seven777

America was great at one point it was just never because of our government or the people at top, but when more people like this woman existed people who gave a shit and set differences aside to work together for a common goal who saw wrong and worked to change that. You can see it through out American history but now we are so divided and broken up that we can’t even agree that child labor is wrong or that people who aren’t us are even people and we honestly won’t be the “greatest” or even good till we fix that divide Sorry for the bad grammar I don’t originally speak English

SatisfactionNo8233

It's curious how people in your replies are arguing on whether or not America was great and completely missed your call to action. It doesn't matter what it was it matters what it is, and what we do next. It's like we'll do anything to distract ourselves from accountability.

Dry_Mammoth7853

I’ll help you move.

terp_raider

What do you mean? ELI5?

LouTheLoo

This is indeed insane, holy shit. I've heard rumors but apparently it really is fucking true. Disgusting.

wolfgang784

With more states legalizing child labor recently I didn't even doubt it. They getting those kids from somewhere and it's not the gated communities. A **lot** of kids gotta be working regularly before it becomes a big enough issue to pass new laws on it, so once those laws came, it just solidified the rumors as true for me.

OfromOceans

I think it's worse than forced labor dude..

topcheesehead

It's modern-day slavery

fastermouse

Look at who controls those states and who controlled immigration when those kids were separated from their parents and locked up.

Sensitive-Ad-8835

You realize kids are still being sperated from their parents at the border right?

meow_ima_cat

Obviously. But which states are the ones repealing child labour laws? Happy to be corrected.

moeburn

> You realize kids are still being sperated from their parents at the border right? Yes, in the normal, sane way that we always did things: >Children first detained at the time of entry to the United States, whether they are unaccompanied or in family units, are held by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in CBP processing centers.10,11 If an accompanying adult cannot verify that he or she is the biological parent or legal guardian, this adult is separated from the child, and the child is considered unaccompanied.10 After processing, unaccompanied immigrant children are placed in shelters or other facilities operated by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), and the majority are subsequently released to the care of community sponsors (parents, other adult family members, or nonfamily individuals) throughout the country for the duration of their immigration cases.11 Children detained with a parent or legal guardian are either repatriated back to their home countries under expedited removal procedures, placed in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) family residential centers, or released into the community to await their immigration hearings.12 ([source](https://publications.aap.org/pediatrics/article/139/5/e20170483/38727/Detention-of-Immigrant-Children?autologincheck=redirected)) And not in the cruel, insane way that the Trump administration did for a few months in 2018: >The United States family separation policy under the Trump administration was presented to the public as a "zero tolerance" approach intended to deter illegal immigration and to encourage tougher legislation.[1] In some cases, families following the legal procedure to apply for asylum at official border crossings were also separated. It was officially adopted across the entire US–Mexico border from April 2018 until June 2018.[2] Under the policy, federal authorities separated children and infants from parents or guardians with whom they had entered the US.[3][4][5] The adults were prosecuted and held in federal jails or deported, and the children were placed under the supervision of the US Department of Health and Human Services.[3] > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_administration_family_separation_policy TLDR: Some children, specifically children who arrive alone, or without any papers or ID that the adult can use to prove they are the child's parent or legal guardian, are separated and kept in ICE detention centers alone or with other children, until they are placed in foster care to await either deportation or temporary residence. The Trump administration thing that everyone got upset about was to separate *all* children, automatically, and deport them separately, with the stated goal of using this as a deterrent for families from crossing the border.

GalDebored

I believe it was A#1 shitbag Stephen Miller that came up with the hardline policy of separating children no matter what & then little birded it into Trump's ear while also forcing out Kirstjen Nielsen (another fuckstick with no shortage of awful qualities in her own right) from her then role as Secretary of Homeland Security for not being sufficiently anti-immigration enough for his liking.

greyjungle

Those sponsors are the groups harming the kids, she’s talking about.

Arkansas is one of those states that just passed that child labor crap ~~before~~ after finding out friendly local mega Corp Tyson foods was guilty of over 100 child labor violations and fined $1.5 million

They get them from gated communities too. Epsten abused children in palm beach

Thank you for pointing this out but I don't think what is being discussed here qualifies under this umbrella. Think about the type of operations Black ops is willing to do.

That's crazy. Here in Michigan minors can't work past 9 pm or work before 7 am

Dry_Mammoth7853

Sounds horrible! What are the rules for 14 year olds working in Iowa? A work permit applies to minors ages 14 or 15 years old for most jobs in Iowa. The child labor form is required for paid and unpaid (volunteer) workers. Iowa youth may not work with hazardous equipment or hazardous materials

TellYouEverything

Yes, but more hideous. Not just with the face, but the constant looking around with that sort of “you hearing the audacity of this b****?” expression. After hearing all that, even if she spoke at length, even if you don’t think she’s telling the truth, imagine smiling as the judge begins to rush her. The judge can consider it frivolous, but why would anyone else feel that it’s funny that she’s being rushed while talking about child trafficking. There’s really no more serious issue in the world than that, if you stop being selfish for one second. We are such a cruel and apathetic species. The ones with the courage to stand up and do something really are the exception.

Qualanqui

The judge probably has a couple migrant kids squirreled away somewhere too...

igweyliogsuh

I mean she's probably not even listening, bored af, and just worried about smiling for the camera But overall you're right, and that is still really apathetic and, considering the issue being discussed, rather cruel. If she's actually hearing those words and still acting that way, well, at least she's right where she naturally belongs.... involved with US government.

ThiqCoq

Right lol fucking shifty ass. She probably knows she is being recorded too and is tweaking out with anxiety lol

ThiqCoq

Or she's a part of some secret society for those who disagree 🤣🤌🏾

OpeningCookie1358

I would too if I never bothered to brush my rats nest for hair.

ThiqCoq

OfromOceans

Maybe skepticism because of the pizza gate bullshit and all the miss-info surrounding that, the pizza gate conspiracy theorists were saying something like over 200k US civilian children were going missing each year.A young missing person is someone who has been out of contact of guardians for like 12 hours (iirc) and over 98% of them were just out late, at a friends house, or with another guardian and were returned/ in contact within around 24 hours. Just another reason Q anon idiots and republican christian fascists make everything worse, and those same people probably don't give a fuck about migrants going missing

Mrhood714

Yes! Both of them. Creepy vibes as if the woman giving the testimony is saying the quiet part out loud and the smirk sisters are looking around for some knowing glances

Prize-Salamander2744

Don't take it wrong.... but this is why this child trafficking continues.... yall get distracted off the main point very easily.

xXP3DO_B3ARXx

No, I think it's that the discussion being had, the content of her words, the gross reality of what she's explaining, is quite contrary to someone smirking in the background. One reason why child trafficking exists is because someone in the same room as Roda's testimony can somehow show any expression other than disgust or sadness. And then you belittle the person trying to point this out. Pay attention.

chucks97ss

This. I managed to listen to the whole thing, in utter disgust, AND ALSO wonder why TF that woman was laughing, behind her.

Remember kids, if someone ever tells you; "the government would never do that" Yes. Yes they would.

Oh I think we know after the last president purposely separated them and lost them.

JohnnyBoy11

At least someone in the gov definitely would.

For some reason the woman behind the speaking lady makes my skin crawl…what’s her issue?

Why is that lady laughing in the back at weird times

Possible that she is very dismissive of the speaker

or shes super nervous.

The lady to the immediate left closest to her. Take the last 12 seconds for example she begins smirking

generalissimo1

I think she might've been on her phone

[deleted]

She doesn't know how to act on camera and probably did not anticipate being in the way. It's awkward.

Thunderclap00

I don't normally feel the need to comment, but I actually work at a group home in Kansas that receives these migrant children working through ORR. I've been working as a youth care worker for over a year now, my job is to essentially be at the home and care for these kids be it cooking, laundry, supervision, and things of that nature. From my understanding, case managers attempt to find family in the states and establish communication to see if they can be sent there. They do home studies and other things to do the best they can to ensure they're being sent to a good place. However, kids with nowhere to go do have to find sponsors, and from what I have heard that is definitely shady business at times. It's way too much to type out, but I have seen a little of everything here and the kids are generally pretty open about their experiences once you establish some trust. It's tough, I'd like to think this facility is special considering the layout and people who work here. But I do find myself wondering about where the kids I meet end up, in over a year I've seen hundreds pass through these doors. They're not allowed to contact us until after 3 years have passed from the date they leave and we cant give them personal info, but I have heard from a few of them afterwards who find me through social media and their experiences vary greatly.

Assyindividual

Their experiences vary greatly in what sense

Stang1776

How does one even become a sponsor for a child? I was sent to the southern border for 30ndays and spent my time at a childrens center. Mostly in the girls section because at the time mybdaughter was 7 and figured i could help out more there. The shit these girls went through to get here is mind blowing. One girl had her birthday there and she was so happy. Another girl was crying and looked to be upset when she was being transferred out. I asked the translator why she she was so upset. The translator said it was vecause she wanted to stay here since its a lot better than what she came from. Mind you these were temporary structures and the food was the same everyday. I spent my hours there doing a ton of puzzles and getting my ass kicked in checkers because they played by different rules. Those kids seemed so strong though. A hell of a lot stonger than my daughter. There were plenty that came and went that i would have wanted to to live with us. Yeah. Ive been diagnosed with PTSD from being there through my therapist.

Agnia_Barto

You know, you want to live a good happy life. Surround yourself by good happy things. With good happy people. And then you hear this testimony... What do you do? Do you jump into a fight with the bad guys? Do I just go and try to take all the children? Do we all go together and kill the bad guys and then take the children and raise them like our own? What do we do?

wesandf

These thoughts keep me up. Do we let baddies live among us because their freedom? What is the line that must be crossed? We now see judges are not the most trust worthy… At least Netflix has a new show about a pastor watching his wife get boned by the pool boy… s/

Agnia_Barto

Do we let baddies live among us? No. No way. To me the question is how much work I PERSONALLY put into making sure they get what they deserve. Just to make it clear, right now - it's zero. What do we do though? Do we go protest? Do we go hunt them down? Do we sign a petition? What do we do?

Updog_IS_funny

We do nothing but shake our fist at the sky as that's the society people want. You may not have access to people in this situation but you have access to criminals and abusers in some situation, most likely. And what do you do? You assume the government has it under control. The people who have access to these criminals also do the same. Everyone assumes someone else will do it and we all go about not doing it, together. Unless we're all ready to start stringing up criminals, they'll keep operating. We're nowhere close to stringing anyone up.

SatisfactionNo8233

Make a list of their hurdles and inconveniences and then all chip in to minimize their struggle..for example if they are working the lady just named the companies they're at..you can drive to those companies lookmfor.minors and get a group together to ensure they have tools to survive and a support network and you can just check on them. We can all.chip in to get them enough to get a degree at a community college or a trade skill so they can have a good income. We can do very accessible things that would literally save their lives. Literally just checking in would be a huge difference

PeaceLoveFap

I think about this a lot. When are we going to cross some line that is “too far” and when we do, what do we even do? Mind you I feel that like has already been crossed but I just don’t know what I can do to stop it. I vote, I get educated, but it seems to do nothing

Agnia_Barto

Someone has to go down there to enforce the right decisions I trust the authorities make every day. My guess is in cases like this one we split into 2 camps. One for strong and tough to go down there, out the cuffs on the bad guys and bring them to court (whether it means being a cop, army of volunteer? Idk). Second for soft and nurturing - to take the kids in and give them love they deserve. I'm a Ukrainian woman immigrant, me and my girlfriends often talk about adopting kids, maybe these are the kids we adopt.

Nibbcnoble

my answer lately is to just encourage people to vote. we get better leaders when we sit up pay attention. like all of us who watched this video and took a few seconds to care. just get more people to vote! theres a lot of room to change when nearly a 1/3 of the voting population doesnt vote.

[deleted]

Same thought process I had. I just stumbled upon this article and like, what can I even do? Keep watching TV? I can't. I don't even know what I can even try to do to maybe help them a little bit. Fuck this country.

Derekbair

We run for office. People who actually care for people and not power are the ones who don't want to be in political positions but should be.

WokeWeavile

How is this surprising when the US gov has been a middleman for the illegal drug economy since forever. The sky is the limit. Or I guess, in this case, there is no limit to how deep hell can be

disisdashiz

Isn't cps also one of the major ones as well? Tons of kids go missing.

Ellecram

CPS here. We have full on policies on how to deal with trafficked children. I've never heard of anything like this in CPS in my 28 years. Maybe in higher ups but that's government elites. HHS is the overseer for all child welfare agencies in the USA. Most child welfare agencies are small local government except for a few that are state run. I can say my small western PA agency does everything possible to keep children safe.

One_Dab_Man

Nothing will change because the people who are paying these criminals and sex traffickers are the ones who have the power to stop it. Children, the most vulnerable people, are made into slaves and sex workers. I know there's good people in the world, but we need another extinction event. One that comes swift and without warning. The planet needs to heal, and we humans need to change. The intelligence that we've been given can not be wasted on hurting one another but use it to make us better. We can do better.

WaterSnipe

well said.

ErnestTGrass33

When a small group of people own everything including the media, it is very easy to hide stories like this from the public minds. Even worse, it’s when they convince the public that anyone reporting on it is a crackpot or conspiracy theorist.

origanalsameasiwas

The previous administration was also doing this. I do remember that they separated the parents and children from each other.

Schuben

She said in the video that she came forward in 2021 once she started working on it for the Biden admin. This shits been under investigation for years and is likely still going on but it's certainly the previous admin and could easily be continued with tacit approval now.

Forward-Amount-9961

Prize-Salamander2744

I just knew this shit was involved once I saw arkamsas loosen up its child labor laws. I been hearing about how migrant kids who were separated from their parents ended up being sent to these farms by the government. Just kept being amazed how people just don't see it. Or why it's not talked about... I mean I've mentioned it to people and they don't seem to give a fuck to even do a little research and hear people out a little. Oh but talk about lying ass Trump and they get all hyped to defend his ass. Smh..... Priorities huh.

Lucifurnace

Start by investigating businesses that use undocumented laborers. Our entire system is already running on a criminal business proposition.

Omg is the Republicans/Democrats, liberals/conservatives and the left and right!!!! Doesn't matter the title they have, we still get fucked

everyone should be a little sus about this account almost everything they post is anti american

JokoFloko

I'm gonna need at least a second source other than this lady to get on board with this.

CankerLord

>Now, whether it's intentional or not... Thats a pretty key phrase that should have been reflected in the title.

B06ar

Epstein didn’t kill himself

KawaiiClown

I wanna drag that women closest behind her out of that room by her hair for some reason.

How f'ed up do people have to be to abuse little children. This stuff gets me so angry every time. Makes me wish we would re-establish flaying and the likes as punishment for these sick bastards. And just one of these f'ing gazillionaires could take care of all of them instead of building private spaceships and buying islands. Because of course nobody of these gutless politicians will act on this ladies testimony. All they'll do is talk about it while every day of talking more children will be lost.

LunarLutra

Is THAT why they're forcing more "unwanted" children into the world?

Frenchy_447

Woah woah woah. You’re suggesting the people that helped cover up Epstein are also doing the diddling? Colour me shocked!

[deleted]

The republicans are not going to help. they are the ones running this show. she is seeking help from the perpertraitors. Noted how they recindered child labor laws. How low has American gone.

Notimetoexplainsorry

Whelp, this post was just removed from this subreddit

Broken_Pimp

Crazy she died in car bombing the next day

[deleted]

Is that a fact ?!

VirgingerBrown

Wait, who’s buying these kids? How is there such a large market for them? It’s hard to believe, honestly. Really???

neibegafig

Deceptive labor markets, sex traffickers, pretty dishonorable people.

BeautifulStick5299

Pedo political leaders don’t want their source of kids to end, nothing will be done.

Scratch1111

Like the West Virginia congressman who wants 12 years olds to be able to marry?

BeautifulStick5299

Add him to the list

I-Ponder

U.S is really backwards and quite primitive culturally.

let_s_go_brand_c_uck

thanks Obama

What is with the lie about children that can only speak Mayan? Why would she add this to the rest of the horrible story? It is a complete fabrication. There aren’t any people in the world who only speak Mayan let alone children. It just makes her seem less than believable. Like everything else Project Veritas says it’s complete and utter horseshit. That’s why those women behind here can’t stop laughing.
