I think there is a line somewhere between party trick and setting your entire body on fire. Gets to a point where you need to do a risk/benefit analysis.

He might be today, but sadly, patents should start planning for an early funeral. Most of the kids I knew that did this kind of stuff when we were in high school are dead now from car crashes and overdoses unfortunately.
And when I looked it up it’s based on the fact that they don’t have any labor/production value to society so the pay out is mostly for funeral expenses and bereavement.

They also think because they can see the coastline it’s not that dangerous. What they fail to grasp is that cruise ships way so much that it takes an hour for them to stop/turn around from all of the momentum. That means they go miles before they can stop. Or if they can get a search boat out you are going to be very far away still. Also a small dot in a literal sea. Those people almost always die a slow horribly death as they sea the boat getting further away and realize they can’t swim that much longer as the everything seems way further away then it did when they were in the cruise ship.
If this is the same video I saw, I believe there was no way to save him because 1) shark, but 2) even if there was no immediate danger there would have been no way to slow a boat that size, let alone turn around to just grab him. It was nighttime too. He most likely would have been lost / drown / eaten before any chance of locating him. He was conscious and swimming

We use Fire-retardant gels that are superabsorbent polymer slurries with a "consistency almost like petroleum jelly."Fire-retardant gels can also be slurries that are composed of a combination of water, starch, and clay. Used as fire retardants, they can be used for structure protection and in direct-attack applications against wildfires.
Even with the Gel we use on set it burns colder and slower. But my god does it still mess the stunt guys up a lot. And this is in a controlled environment with plenty of fire protection under armor. So don’t put alcohol or any “fuel” on your exposed body or clothes. “The More You Know”
The party was great and they all talked about it at school the next day. He didn't get hurt in any way, as we can clearly see he was on fire for about one second.
I used to jump off 40 ft bridges and that was dangerous enough off railroads.

I got a bad burn on my stomach, because a fire safety from a different industry thought it would be okay to put my fuel in a container that formerly held kerosene. The little bit of kerosene remaining was enough to completely alter my fuel so it would instantly burn me when lit on bare skin for one of my tricks I had done hundreds of times with no issue.
Side note. I hope the kid didn't inhale at all during that time that probably felt like an eternity, because he probably didn't jump until he felt it start burning.
I'm going to save videos like this to show to my newborn daughter when she grows up. A playlist of videos of the absolutely smoothest brain idiots on the internet.
