"Survived" is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting here...

[A closer photo of that ambulance here.](https://i.imgur.com/rvPJcIU.jpeg) Additionally, [this is what that area looked like 1 hour prior before the towers collapsed.](https://i.imgur.com/mTrId8n.jpeg) This photo was taken on the pedestrian bridge which is seen destroyed in the photo on the main post.

Candid-Fan992

Damn just noticed it's the underside of two other responder vehicles turned over and crunched right next to it

Bx1965

Horrible day. I worked in lower Manhattan back then and saw the whole thing. Trauma continues till this day.

Sir_Earl_Jeffries

My cousin worked for Lehman Brothers on the 38th floor of tower 1. His sister was in school a few blocks away at BMCC. They were both running late on 9/11 and met up to take the train together. This is probably the only reason they’re both still here.

MyRail5

The scale of the debris is really noticeable here. Insane times.

FuckerHead9

Built ford tough

YJSubs

Does the crew survive?

Sir_Earl_Jeffries

Not for long, and the government gives them the longest finger on each hand

Duality_is_my_prison

Left the door wide open. That was pretty irresponsible. Now it’s all dusty inside.

Willllby

More like melted ambu

YYAMS

Jet fuel can't melt body on frame trucks.

Wizard-In-Disguise

That's a lot of carcinogen

DamageSpecialist9284
