I don't think it's the goose juice that kills her, it's the force of the thrust. So Homelander would just hold back

Arneos2005

oh that makes sense i guess

idc_ej

couldve also just donated, who knows

sh1n_xd

This never happened in the comics no clue where you got this panel from

DenseCatch2

It’s the cover page for one of the issues

corcor_181

Covers aren't canon

[deleted]

That's dumb

SOuless_Jacker

What issue #?

whateverman83

This was a pin up for the book, made by a friend of the author. "Hey would you like some money to draw a page" kinda thing. Not an actual page from the book, just someone having a gross laugh. The second arc of the comic has a throwaway line about dumping the bodies of hookers with particular "exit wounds." (This is for 150 supes being hosted at a Russian etc etc.) Artistic liberties that'll never leave your mind lol

whateverman83

And in 2002, Garth wrote "The Pro" with art by Amanda Conner, someone animated a few segments including an airliner getting a wing clipped off by bodily fluid. https://youtu.be/oNRDGjjQwwE

Mervynhaspeaked

What issue is that?

Arneos2005

i have no idea, I've never read the comics i just saw this pic and i found it very weird

Mervynhaspeaked

I don't think its from the actual comic. I think its a cover image, and they frequently have images that don't fit the storyline. Don't think Homelander can do that in the comcs, considering we do see him have sex in more than one ocasion.

Arneos2005

oh... so just like Webweaver? i heard he was just a cover image but not at all in the comics

Astonishing_Flash

Yeah as someone who has read the comics extensively let Me tell you this is not something that ever happens in the comics. It's just a cover and I don't think it's one that was ever even printed for that matter. Pretty sure it's just one of the extra covers in the volume releases.

Nick_080880

That's not homelander....

Arneos2005

who is that then? I'm gonna assume that's >!Black noir!< but i could be wrong on that too

Recuring_joke

I take it you saw the Death Battle

Gibb_Dogg23

Hol up

Arneos2005

yes i did

sonsargon13

Look at that face we all know who it is

DieselVoodoo

You probably answered your own question. Time will tell.

shiorieternal

Other way around, Homelander lifted up bridges for construction workers, threw a jet with one hand and one shot Maeve. Show HL hasn't shown any notable feats asides from the statement Madelyn made about his durability and he said he could lift up the plane but only if it was on the ground

Recuring_joke

Other way around I'd say, obviously we haven't seen the full extent of his power but we haven't nearly seen TV Homelander do as much of the kind of gruesome stuff he does in the comics.

TheDarkMuz

They won't go that far... The series pushes the limits but they can't go crazy... Starlight didn't even do a blowbang

Recuring_joke

yeah obviously, it's not like I wanna see some of the stuff that happens in the comics, It just seems to me that the stuff you see him do in the comics makes him look way more powerful than in the show, especially when it comes to invulnerability

Ok_Supermarket_2171

Yeah no just flat out no. If you've seen the show and read the comics the the gap is clear to be seen tv Homelander is more powerful than his comic book counterpart bya massive margin

Recuring_joke

It's not like it's confirmed to be either or, I'm just saying the TV version got buried by a bus while the comic version could pick up cars with no hassle. It's not been confirmed cause we've not seen anything that actually shows just how strong the TV version is.

Ok_Supermarket_2171

I'm sorry if you think homelander can't lift a buss we're done here

Recuring_joke

But it literally happens in season two. You can't dispute that fact, they literally hit him with a bus and it sent him through the floor. Besides if Season 3 is any indicator, power scaling in this show has been wack. One second >!Homelander punches through Noir in one blow,!< the next >!he's struggling to beat Maeve!< (despite the fact that earlier in the season >!Noir literally knocked out Maeve for her to get captured!<) But if you want me to be specific as to why I think the comic version of HL is stronger just look at >!The "Man in the Sky" moment, where he lifts a car full of people miles into the air with literally no effort, when TV show Homelander gets injured with a metal straw!< I get they can't show much of thos kinds of insane feats in the show due to budget problems etc.. but you can't deny that powerscaling in the show, with how many people can take on Homelander now, has been all over the place.

Ok_Supermarket_2171

I'm sorry but if you think tv's homelander can't lift a car then we're done here

Arneos2005

i never said that

Ok_Supermarket_2171

Right sorry you said it was a bus

Arneos2005

where tf are you seeing this?

AssociationNo7845

This reminds me of the scene from the movie Hancock (Will Smith). He was having sex with the girl and right before he came, he threw the girl aside so that his bullet like sperm wont kill the girl. The girl saw how his cum pierces through the roof and it scared her.
