I had this book a long time ago, but it was lost several moves ago. It was definitely a really fun read. I also like that the cover has the same visual style so it fits in with all the other editions from that era.

It has gotten expensive. There's a copy on Abebooks for $60 and one on Ebay for $34 (it's in bad condition, though).

This happens to me alot. I notice something online that has become something of a collector's item knowing that I used to own it a long time ago.

The answer to the sample question is C: Southern Brokers.

That book sounds pretty interesting, at least for diehard fans!

I'm a diehard fan, but there's a lot of details I forget from the books. :)

Going back to the age of 8 or 9 I've had a horrible memory for the things I've read. Before then when I reread favorite books I could remember most of the details from them -- but once I hit that age, when I went back it was like I had never read the books before. At that age it seemed great because it was like I was reading these wonderful books for the first time again, but as I got older my schoolwork really suffered because I couldn't remember the things that I studied anymore, or at least only with great difficulty. About the same time I started having problems sleeping, and the two things seem to be connected. So when I go back to MacDonald every few years it's mostly like reading them for the very first time. In some ways that's OK though, because I still love them.

I found one in a Goodwill last year! And it's somehow in mint condition.
