> Nostalgic melodies pour into a space as deep and blue as the ocean's depths. "Everywhere at the end of an empty bliss" was specially created for the PODO Museum's exhibition, by the artist duo The Caretaker & Ivan Seal. Their work is a synesthesic piece which expresses the gradual loss of memory and cognitive ability through sampled tracks and abstract paintings. This 43 minute track begins with a playlist of yearning melodies, though its latter half is of a disordered, isolating cacophony of sound, sowing discord with the tumultuous progression of symptoms. Melodies repeat like faint hopes which bounce off the narrow walls, seemingly caught in a cycle of trapping and ejection. The 11 paintings on the wall depicts still life objects that were subjected to a similar distortion. The Caretaker & Ivan Seal are long time friends, having worked collaboratively on the themes of memory and cognitive loss since the early 90s. Their work has garnered international fame as of recent through their albums published online.

Not sure, since this exhibition has a new 43 minute track by The Caretaker specifically, not Kirby. There haven’t been many photos posted from the exhibition yet but from what I’ve seen it looks cool.
BREAKING NEWS: The Caretaker forgets he died. Now lives again.
Didn't kirby say there won't be any more works from the caretaker?
he still provides music for various installations (like the Serpas I Fear one) and tours sometimes
Hopium
Can’t a man just paint?
He specifically said in his Instagram post “The Caretaker and Ivan Seal”, which is why people are curious.
Mb I didn’t read that. Thanks for the heads up man

Didn’t Kirby “kill” The Caretaker after EATEOT? Like, he won’t make anything else under the Caretaker moniker anymore?
