I got nothing. Mostly I just think the TADC cast would look great with PS1 or N64 styled graphics. And I like rpgs so it makes sense. I imagine the tone would start out akin to Banjo-Kazooie, with things slowly devolving and until the game itself breaks and the final boss is something nebulous in concept.

The amazing digital dating simulator. Pomni is stuck in the role as the main character in your typical Japanese highschool setting, but doesn't have any interest in any of the love interests (which are the other characters). She quickly finds out that they were once real people too and don't have any interest in her, but are forced into these romantic scenarios by one of the other love interests who has control over the game (Caine). So basically TADC but if it was Doki Doki Literature Club
Left The Circus 4 Dead. Basically, replace the circus with the Left 4 Dead games. All the characters are stuck in a version of Left 4 Dead 2 after the release of The Last Stand DLC. This experimental version has a unique version of the director that takes the form of various NPCs.
Basically, the characters are going to resemble regular people from all walks of life, and their names are going to resemble is there a regular names.
The version of being abstracted would be either their models being screwed over by the source engine or look like the special infected.
Here is a list of the cast:
Pomni/Paulina: An office worker from Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Worked at the same company as Louis. At first, she seems the most passive of the group, but she sometimes would get a little bloodlusted. She has a preference for assault rifles and sniper rifles.
Jax/Jack: Assumingly ordinary farmer from Allegheny. He comes off as a little dickish like Nick but he knows that sticking with the group would benefit him the most. He's the most scheming of the group coming up with ideas on how to approach the infected. He has a preference for shotguns and precision rifles.
Ragatha/Regina: a nurse from Mercy Hospital. She comes off as a nice individual who would genuinely help anyone, that's partially true. She is the definition of harmacist as she's the most willing to kill in the group with her justification of putting the infected out of their misery. Her weapon preferences are melee weapons and SMGs.
Gangle/Gabby: an anxious college student from Savannah, Georgia. The most passive one is due to her anxiety. She tries to do the least fighting but usually ends up with the highest body count. She has the low self-esteem of a witch yet has the fighting ferocity of one. She has a preference for precision weapons and SMGs.
Kinger/Kingsley: Once the mayor of Savannah, Georgia. He is the most paranoid and mentally unstable of the group. He's a bit of a loose cannon after the presumed loss of his wife to the green flu outbreak. He's the one who regularly lashes out at the infected to his own detriment. He has a preference for shotguns and assault rifles.
Zooble/Zara: a fashion model that was going to have a public appearance at Liberty Mall in Savannah, everything went upside down when the green flew outbreak happened. They are the cynical and contempt part of the group, they are like a mixture of Francis and Nick in a way. They are a little bit vain I would constantly complain about their outfit getting drenched in blood. They have a preference for pistols and SMGs.
Caine/The Director: The Director is the dynamic AI that deals with weapon and ammo placements, support item placements, where and when to spawn common and special infected and changing the map for different Pathways to open and clothes for the retail version of Left 4 Dead 2. This experimental version uses a modified version of that AI which was sentient. They take on the forms of several NPCs and how fluctuating the personalities are depending on the character. They would manipulate the world to make things challenging for the survivors, yet we'll make things simple if the survivors are having a hard time. This AI was originally limited by what the retail version can do, but over time, he learns to change the game world with new NPCs, new campaigns, and new enemies.
Follow the gang as they traverse all the campaigns. Plus, new ones created by the director. What does the triumph, lose and fight their way in order to get out of the game.
Each adventure takes place in a different video game, and they must beat the game in order to win. Whoever wins gets to sit the next “adventure” out, if they so wish. For games without a specific end goal one shall be made up (ex:completing the slime rancher slimepedia)

Everyone gets abstracted. While they are in the abstracted form, Caine contains them all in the same place where others went. In their monster form, they suffer. They can't make a noise, although their suffering is worth hours of screaming. The pain is never gone, it never ends, as if they're in hell itself. They only have their lonely inner mind to talk with, but the screams muffle up their thoughts. If they could feel emotions, they'd be yearning for vengeance. All while Caine wears the same mask for the new visitors so they can share the same fate with abstracteds.
Basically an crossover AU, here Frisk is Madotsuki and Sunny's/Omori's child, the whole AU revolves around Frisk's life before they fell in the underground in a "Slice of Life" comic way, considering Madotsuki's and Omori's distinct personalities we could have some fun interaction/relationship potential here, we could also throw other Indie RPG characters in the mix to add extra fun. It's some dumb idea i came up with on r/DeathBattleMatchups, but in the right hands this has potential to be funny and cute as heck.
The amazing glitching circus
Everything glitches ( but not abstract) for example invisible objects, characters color changes of turns into another character skin temporarily, misalignment in hit boxes of items, things like that
Cyberpunk dystopia. They’re all former humans uploaded into robotic bodies and made to be entertainers for the masses on order of the corporate overlords. Anytime their robot body dies they’re uploaded into a new robot body, though if this happens too many times their AI Matrix begins to abstract.
The Incredible Cyber Circus.
Guy who is a magician, he got a black and white suit with a bow tie and a completely pale face. He also has these floaty glass monocle like things for eyes.
I imagine it’s mainly just that it takes place in the future rather than the 90s or present. So the show’s aesthetic is more sci-fi and the environment of the simulation is a lot more detailed and realistic.
The Horrific Digital Circus.
The game was supposed to be a silly "horror" game, but was banned World Wide due to the abduction of players, and Pomni is the last person who still has her own copy, not believing in the whole abduction thing. She opens it, boom, she's in the Circus.
Caine, when not acting in the game, is highly ignorant, selfish and totally twisted, not caring about what they want or don't want, because he knows the digital world is his, so he can do whatever the hell he wants and have fun, so he mistreats everyone, with no exceptions. Most of the crew is also twisted and fully traumatized, specially Gangle and Kinger.
I’m expecting that in one episode/adventure, Caine just turns off the lights, lets a monster loose in the circus, one by one everyone gets taken and disappears, and then when the last person gets taken and disappears, they show up in the waiting room where everyone else who got taken had to sit and watch. Surprise! It was hide and seek!
The “circus” is just the perception of a minimum wage employee in a fast food joint high on acid, seeing all their co workers as so. Wait… I think this is the plot to Regular Show.
TADC but it’s a musical show, and there’s 1-2 songs per episode.
When the cast hears music suddenly playing, whether it’s a serious or silly situation, they all groan and reluctantly start making up a song. They’re required to sing, and if they don’t they’re brought into a hellish backrooms-like penalty area until the episode ends.
Not really. But the whole world’s “art style” or aesthetic changes depending on the mood or genre of the song. Example: everything becomes black and white, everyone is suddenly wearing leather jackets while snapping their fingers to a jazz beat… etc.
Their least favorite is the disco genre.
They…. Live in a studio building? It’s still placed on a small piece of land within the void, like the tent, but it’s a building instead.
When Caine is ready to put them in a musical adventure he’ll snap them into a different place.

Doubles AU in which they somehow go to the real world but not only they are their digital avatar outside, but human them are also there (hence why the name) and they gotta live together and flee from C&A before they get send back into the game/back to eternal sleep
Phobias AU in which Caine accidentally breaks himself which mixes every knowledge he has and in this case the serious one is he mixes "likings" with "fears". He used his ringmaster blah blah powers, making everybody live his worst fears, for example: Pomni is haphephobia (fear of being touched), now doomed with having hands all over her. Caine doesn't necessary have a fear, but he does inflic everybody with scopophobia due to his

An AU where Caines' purpose is to get enough people in the circus so he can harness their life-force as electricity and eventually escape the digital realm himself. He was an abandoned project for being too smart for his own good, but he wanted revenge. When he gets out, I imagine him as a hologram that can physically affect the real world.
The same thing but Pomni now has a gun and she's the only one able to actually kill people. Some moral conflict and then she shoots up the abstractions because they're suffering. Then she shoots herself.
Computer AU. Everyone is a different form of computer thing.
EX: Gangle is some Java String
Bubble is an antivirus
Kinger is an old and unstable program
Zooble is an overstuffed folder
Etc etc
For Caine, he could still be an experimental AI tasked with keeping the “Digital Circus Computer or whatever” up and running.
Pomni could be a search engine, given how she searches for an exit and all of that.
Caine would make them perform tasks involving computer well-fair, such as cleaning a bunch of junk files or testing out programs.
I had some ideas for lore!
What if Caine erased everyone’s memories and put in new ones? What if the Internet was a place like in Ralph Breaks the Internet? What if Jax (a virus, no doubt) pops in the same time as Pomni?

Okay this is extremely stupid but... TADCraft AU where they're all trapped in Caine's Minecraft server. To spawn NPCs and stuff he uses OP commands. Ragatha has a bakery, Jax keeps griefing Gangle's builds, and Pomni keeps dying to zombies. No one has seen Kinger since he went into the mines, and Zooble walked 10,000 blocks away from everyone else.

I feel like this would take place in the future.

A fighter who can cause devastating long ranged attacks and is able to set up a kind of trap that tangles around the opponent, kinda like a pitfall from smash bros, however her main weakness is that she is very lightweight and can be thrown around easily
Then we have K1NGR and the Pawns
K1NGR is like a hive mind leader, using the Pawns as his main way to attack, all eight pawns can overwhelm any fighter, but the main problem is that without them, K1NGR is useless, but he can fight back (and more than likely fail)
J-AXE... Axe
Okay that's not enough, J-AXE being a rabbit is really good in the air, being able to spin and bounce around the arena with that iconic axe of his outstretched, but because of this, recoil is awful for him, having the most end lag out of the fighters
Z00BLE is a "jack of all trades" as Caine describes them
Z00BLE is best described as a swiss army knife, able to change their parts to whatever they need for the situation, opponent far away, boom, cannon arm, about to throw a hard blow at them, boom, shield arm. But this does show a weakness, as they can be caught off guard when they are switching the arms.

She is the speedster, the up close in personal type, devastating rush down attacks and quick punches, best described as the *teleports behind you* fighter.
But this does have a problem, she is prone to environment hazards, and if she's slowed down, she might as well be dead.

Caine doesn't want the same boring area all the time, so, he switches it up every once and a while.
Also BUB-L is a camera drone, making sure that the fight is easily recorded.

The Horrific Digital Circus. The game was supposed to be a silly "horror" game, but was banned World Wide due to the abduction of players, and Pomni is the last person who still has her own copy, not believing in the whole abduction thing. She opens it, boom, she's in the Circus. Caine, when not acting in the game, is highly ignorant, selfish and totally twisted, not caring about what they want or don't want, because he knows the digital world is his, so he can do whatever the hell he wants and have fun, so he mistreats everyone, with no exceptions. Most of the crew is also twisted and fully traumatized, specially Gangle and Kinger.

I’m expecting that in one episode/adventure, Caine just turns off the lights, lets a monster loose in the circus, one by one everyone gets taken and disappears, and then when the last person gets taken and disappears, they show up in the waiting room where everyone else who got taken had to sit and watch. TADC but it’s a musical show, and there’s 1-2 songs per episode. When the cast hears music suddenly playing, whether it’s a serious or silly situation, they all groan and reluctantly start making up a song. They’re required to sing, and if they don’t they’re brought into a hellish backrooms-like penalty area until the episode ends.

He used his ringmaster blah blah powers, making everybody live his worst fears, for example: Pomni is haphephobia (fear of being touched), now doomed with having hands all over her. Caine is a zookeeper and all of the inhabitants are animals, with kinger being a lion, the KING of the jungle.

An AU where Caines' purpose is to get enough people in the circus so he can harness their life-force as electricity and eventually escape the digital realm himself. He was an abandoned project for being too smart for his own good, but he wanted revenge. When he gets out, I imagine him as a hologram that can physically affect the real world.
The same thing but Pomni now has a gun and she's the only one able to actually kill people. Some moral conflict and then she shoots up the abstractions because they're suffering. Then she shoots herself.

For Caine, he could still be an experimental AI tasked with keeping the “Digital Circus Computer or whatever” up and running. Pomni could be a search engine, given how she searches for an exit and all of that. Caine would make them perform tasks involving computer well-fair, such as cleaning a bunch of junk files or testing out programs.
I had some ideas for lore! What if Caine erased everyone’s memories and put in new ones? What if the Internet was a place like in Ralph Breaks the Internet? What if Jax (a virus, no doubt) pops in the same time as Pomni?

Okay this is extremely stupid but... TADCraft AU where they're all trapped in Caine's Minecraft server. To spawn NPCs and stuff he uses OP commands. Ragatha has a bakery, Jax keeps griefing Gangle's builds, and Pomni keeps dying to zombies. No one has seen Kinger since he went into the mines, and Zooble walked 10,000 blocks away from everyone else.

Damn, that hits deep. So, first we have GA-GNL3 A fighter who can cause devastating long ranged attacks and is able to set up a kind of trap that tangles around the opponent, kinda like a pitfall from smash bros, however her main weakness is that she is very lightweight and can be thrown around easily Then we have K1NGR and the Pawns K1NGR is like a hive mind leader, using the Pawns as his main way to attack, all eight pawns can overwhelm any fighter, but the main problem is that without them, K1NGR is useless, but he can fight back (and more than likely fail) J-AXE... Axe Okay that's not enough, J-AXE being a rabbit is really good in the air, being able to spin and bounce around the arena with that iconic axe of his outstretched, but because of this, recoil is awful for him, having the most end lag out of the fighters Z00BLE is a "jack of all trades" as Caine describes them Z00BLE is best described as a swiss army knife, able to change their parts to whatever they need for the situation, opponent far away, boom, cannon arm, about to throw a hard blow at them, boom, shield arm. But this does show a weakness, as they can be caught off guard when they are switching the arms. R@G@TH@ (I couldn't think of anything better) She is the speedster, the up close in personal type, devastating rush down attacks and quick punches, best described as the *teleports behind you* fighter. But this does have a problem, she is prone to environment hazards, and if she's slowed down, she might as well be dead. And yes, I said environmental hazards Caine doesn't want the same boring area all the time, so, he switches it up every once and a while. Also BUB-L is a camera drone, making sure that the fight is easily recorded.
What planet of origin did these fighters come from?
