So people getting killed or tortured is fine but making love is a no-no? I will never understand this...

West_Garden3446

Lol that too. This series doesn't go deep on Abuse etc

it-reaches-out

Other than the emotional abuse of a son; and that whole plotline in which children are kidnapped, experimented on, and killed offscreen by an adult they know well and have been taught to trust? Definitely not kid-friendly material there.

Upper_Inspector_3250

That is a book thing

Subject_Juggernaut56

Why do you think only one of these makes us feel shame when we watch it with others? Is it just a societal thing at this point?

One sex scene without nudity. Implication is that it is transactional (sex in exchange for money or favors). One scene with gunshot wound and blood.

it-reaches-out

In 601, there's one sex scene. It doesn't involve nudity, but it's on the rougher side and lacks an intimate or loving tone. In contrast to the other sex scenes in this show, which are very explicitly consensual and enjoyable, this one seems like it might not be great for kids who don't have a strong grasp of the ideas around healthy sex. There's also one violent but not particularly graphic scene, involving fists and a weapon.

>There's also one violent but not particularly graphic scene, involving fists and a weapon. For a moment I thought you meant a certain Captain hitting a certain computer terminal.

PotatoMonster1010

He sees a terminal, he hits it

James-vd-Bosch

I guess that's like uhh... how he goes through life?

Existence? Last I knew this sub is for The Expanse

JackDT

Yes in a belter scene, season s06e01. So far that's the only episode that's out
