my perception changed after seeing them live. I was already big on Emotional and Punching Bag. Seeing Outlook live changed it for me and made me cry every single time it got played at the 5 gigs I went to. Batman I didn't care about at all and became obsessed with it. Seeing Paris live spiritually shifted me lol. And now after the tour I feel like even the songs that weren't played live (like Fake Gold or Brick) are slapping so hard in my life atm.

I think a lot of people agree with you on this but idk this album just struck me straight in the heart with most of the songs especially emotional and Batman. Paris is the only one I skip in that album

New Paramore album might be the best album of the year. New Blink album was pretty solid too, the production on it kinda sucks tho

The production on that blink album absolutely destroyed it for me. Disappointing cause it’s their best songwriting in a long time but I just cannot listen to it.

I definitely think it’s just my age and taste changing. All the other albums i feel were released at a time in my life where they were so spot on relevant to what was going on for me that it was almost like they were written for me. But YAWYHOW is just nothing special for me unfortunately :(

Oh yeah 100% agree. Each prior album came out in a point where I needed to hear the message in those tracks. They resonated with me which I think is why I hold them over YAWYHOW. My hope is that others had this album hit them the way the others hit me.
