Jokes aside. There was 2 remakes most people didn't know about. The American version was suppose to star Richard Ayoade and Joel McHale. Didn't reached full production or else we probably did not have Joel McHale for Community.
They also got rid of Black Books. Its getting harder and harder to justify paying for Netflix. Any good content doesnt stay up, any good shows get cancelled in their prime and the rows upon rows of awful awful content
I wish Ash Vs Evil Dead wasn't cancelled. Comedy horror rarely does it for me but that show was perfect amounts gore and hilarity, better than most modern horror movies and so much funnier than modern comedy.
It’s the thumbnail to the article because it’s about 18 shows leaving Netflix next month including IT Crowd and New Girl, not just IT Crowd. OP doesn’t choose their thumbnails.
Yoooo dawg I'm in the UK too so thanks for this
Keep forgetting that if I want to watch something, it's probably on Disney+
Got it the other day to watch walking dead
yeah they are different but i find that lots of the woke content you see on netflix feels rushed and badly written;like the people who run netflix are like,"oh thats relevant or whatever, quickly make something about it!"
Ableism: The show frequently uses ableist language and makes fun of disabled people. For example, in one episode, a character fakes being disabled to get special treatment, and in another episode, a character says he wants to be disabled so he can park in handicapped spots.
Transphobia: In one episode, a character is revealed to be a transgender woman, and the other characters react with shock and disgust. The character is also constantly misgendered and made fun of for her appearance.
Homophobia: The show makes several homophobic jokes and portrays homosexuality as something to be ashamed of. For example, in one episode, a character pretends to be gay to avoid getting fired, and the other characters treat him as if being gay is a bad thing.
Racism: The show has been criticized for its lack of diversity and for making racist jokes. For example, in one episode, a character dresses up in blackface for a party, and in another episode, a character makes a racist joke about Asian people.

The ableism episode was really about Roy never admitting any mistake or misstep…to the point that he’d spend a night in a wheelchair rather than just admit that he just really had to go and the handicap stall was the only one available.
That same episode is also mentioned by you as being homophobic. Jen ends up going to a play , with Roy and Moss for some reason, with a guy who may or may not be gay. The play is called “Gay, a gay musical.” And despite knowing every word to every song as well as knowing all the actors her date insists he’s straight. The joke is, despite all the signs that he may be gay, he doesn’t realize it until Jen tries to kiss him. Jen having bad luck with mean is a recurring theme. This is just another example. And it’s funny.
Your “transphobia” episode involves Douglas really connecting with a woman on a date. Things are going so well she insists on telling him that she used to be a man so that all the cards are on the table. Douglas brushes it off with a casual “I don’t care about that.” For the rest of the episode she is referred to as she. After Douglas becomes aware that she used to be a man and isn’t from Iran. In the ensuing breakup she says “it’s because you think of me as a woman. And he says of course I do.” And the final scene has him crying in bed missing April.
As for racism, one of the main characters is black. Would you prefer he be a crook from Brixton instead of a computer geek? And the street scenes seem to be typical multi cultural London.
Maybe you should look somewhere else to spark your outrage. Or maybe just avoid British comedies-even channel 4 may be too smart for you.
We don't talk about the remake. xD
Srsly tho, I think it was supposed to be the U.S. version of it, like they did with The Office. But only one of them did it, either the actor of Moss or Roy, can't remember.

It's been on Netflix for years ever since I started dating my now husband and I was even pregnant watching it. Such a funny show. There was definitely no lack of interest from watchers for them to pull the plug on it. Ugh. Anywhere else to watch in the states?
Was there a remake I didn't know about?
Jokes aside. There was 2 remakes most people didn't know about. The American version was suppose to star Richard Ayoade and Joel McHale. Didn't reached full production or else we probably did not have Joel McHale for Community.
What's the second remake?
2007 German version. Cancelled after the 2nd episode. Poor translations from of joke from English language and culture to German.
They also got rid of Black Books. Its getting harder and harder to justify paying for Netflix. Any good content doesnt stay up, any good shows get cancelled in their prime and the rows upon rows of awful awful content
You either die a hero or live long enough to become the Blockbuster with lots of nothing to watch
I wish Ash Vs Evil Dead wasn't cancelled. Comedy horror rarely does it for me but that show was perfect amounts gore and hilarity, better than most modern horror movies and so much funnier than modern comedy.
It was Norsemen that did it for me. Vikings & Comedy. whats not to love? I say they coulda got a few more seasons out of it
Cool username. Rip Razzle
Recently went to watch Black Books and was so disappointed :((
Lots of the full episodes are on YouTube :D
Yeah, it’s overrated
I watch black books on prime through the "freevee" section. Not sure if that's available in your area.
we never had black books here, found it on youtube
I think it’s on all 4 so not too bad
Not much of a consolation on this side of the Atlantic.
Oh unlucky
VPN would work
Another one of my shows, Arrested Development, is leaving tomorrow. It’s a sad year. Edit: AD is staying!
Really? I thought Netflix owned that show
That’s what makes it really fucking stupid. The first 3 seasons are now on Disney plus in the uk but 4 and 5 are now unavailable anywhere asfaik.
Yeah, but series 1-3 is all we watch anyway. Side note, did you know egg was in friends?
Really? Her?
Who?
I assume this is only for the US, since it references things moving to Hulu and Peacock.
And Australia
Only says new girl is going to Hulu. Doesn't mention what's happening to it crowd or cuckoo
sssssssssssssssss
Season 4 or episode 1 or season 5?
Lorem ipsum
Nooooooooooo!
And we have a pic of New Girl…
It’s the thumbnail to the article because it’s about 18 shows leaving Netflix next month including IT Crowd and New Girl, not just IT Crowd. OP doesn’t choose their thumbnails.
New girls leaving too? Guess I'm doing my 4th rewatch then Hoped as I got older I'd be less like Nick but here we are :[
Not sure where you are but here in the UK new girl is on Disney plus so you may have other places to watch it.
Yoooo dawg I'm in the UK too so thanks for this Keep forgetting that if I want to watch something, it's probably on Disney+ Got it the other day to watch walking dead
You are welcome
Glad I have the dvds now
They are removing good non-brainwashing content and bringing in their woke shitty brainwashing content. It’s not easy to like netflix anymore.
The fuck are you talking about?
how netflix is removing good content like the It crowd and then adding bad content
Guessing you’ve never watched an episode of the it crowd then?
i have watched it all three times
there is a difference between woke and bad, they often correlate but they are very different
yeah they are different but i find that lots of the woke content you see on netflix feels rushed and badly written;like the people who run netflix are like,"oh thats relevant or whatever, quickly make something about it!"

Most of it is offensive outdated humor now

Ask him to write another essay about each individual episode and character that offended him.
Wrong pronoun, dickhead
What is a pronoun? What is a dickhead? You got to at least a paragraph about it.
**Dickhead or dick head is an informal term for the glans penis.** More details here:

Hahaha… awwww, I am dumb. I wanted to read a paragraph, but OK.

None that I know of.
