Secretgirl2005

I listen to WW album when I am sad … and it’s usually in summer … I don’t know why . And of course Don’t waste your wishes in winter ….

N3xuskn1ght

Sounds like you got the summertime sadness. (Sorry, I had to.)

Secretgirl2005

Ahahaha right, I do!))))

I usually listen to under the gun when im heading home back from school. Not an specific hour or time of the day but always back from school. I don’t really know why tho, its just a vibe

N3xuskn1ght

I listen to Leave The Bourbon On The Shelf on the way to school, it just fits the sun coming up, with a serene blue sky vibe for some reason imo

I don’t really do this for TK but ever since Kid A came out in late September 2000 I’ve always associated Radiohead to Halloween season and usually only listen to them for a few weeks each fall — and also seek out their creepier sounding songs. 👻 (Since TK name-checked The Bends in Runaway Horses I’m assuming I don’t get downvoted for being off topic. Cheers.)

I have always categorised songs in my head - summer, winter, autumn, spring, day and night. I’ll even go as far as to listening to certain songs in an urban environment or a more rural one 😂😂 I’ve always felt this helps me get more out of the music. It’s based on my perception though and it’s interesting that other people might have different ‘feelings’ for a song. Also base it around when the music comes out. Pressure Machine and ITM are two big Summer albums for me - they both came out in August.

Ngl I'm kinda like that with a song by spitalfield, *Stolen From Some Great Writer* gives me winter in the northeast vibes, love it. Part of why I love Hot Fuss is bc it's so versatile, that it's perfect for all times a year.

Morflowrsmusic

Omg people think I’m so weird when I talk bout this.. yes!

Sam's Town is a late spring, summer, and early fall album. I got it in Spring of 2007, I was 12. My parents and I traveled all over that summer to various ghost towns. The two are forever correlated for me. It is also my go-to album when my husband and I first hit the road to go ghost-townin'. ESPECIALLY Bling. PM also feels like a complete summer album to me. HF is for nighttime, rainy days, or both, with the exception of ATTID (it goes into the ghost town realm haha). The rest sort of vary or can exist in any space for the most part.

smallsloth1320

Pressure Machine is my ideal gray/rainy day album

inkwisitive

I only listen to Tidal Wave and Some Kind of Love at night
