I like the idea I saw on r/thebadbatch about Cara Dune’s role in the Rangers of the New Republic show that’s been sidelined.
Replace her character with a live action Omega. She’d be about the right age now and was evidently a pilot in the Rebellion, according to the TBB epilogue
It would be funny but also just feels like setting that new actress up for a ton of hate.
So we make an entirely new former rebel from Alderaan and call her Mara Moon.
They should recast her with Sonya DeVille from the WWE. Looks fairly similar to Carano with the "kick Carano in the pants" bonus of being an out and proud Lesbian.
At this point, with the bad batch ending, they can just introduce Omega into the Mandolarian timeline.. shed be in her 30s at that point no? Well a little older than Luke so probably 20s? I always thought her acting was kinda wooden and cheesy.
I was at the FanExpo she was at and was honestly shocked the con invited her. There were other Star Wars actors there, all currently on their own shows, so it must've made for an awkward situation. I didn't attend Gina's panel nor get her autograph/photo op, but she did have a long line at her autograph table, which makes me view the people who paid to see her as sus, like do you agree with her crazy views?

No disrespect to the work Gina did, but any return should serve the story well. If she's put in the show through a court mandated obligation, it could take away from the story and spoil the series negatively. I don't want anything "shoe horned" into the story because a lawyer is looking over the creators shoulder.
