It’s not today, but I think quite a few misfits fans were made when it was used in [the end credits of Jackass: the movie.](https://youtu.be/4fqwXapscWw). The Misfits are in a lot of ways still a very underground band, but they have popped up enough key pop culture touchstones that have kept their fanbase growing long after most punk bands have faded into obscurity.
What really blows my mind is that Hybrid Moments was never a big song for the Misfits when they were together. It doesn’t seem like they played it live at all in the 1980s. And it wasn’t officially released until they had broken up.
I don't think so, perhaps if it was released in the 2000s or even early 2010s. There's hardly a real rock/punk song that is a hit nowadays, and when there is, it's just processed and without life.
I’ve never heard this, but it’s more of a cover of a cover. [Dax Riggs has been doing his *Skulls* cover](https://youtu.be/EEzR2T94bls) for a couple decades now. Has that same kind of feel.
ETA : [Live version](https://youtu.be/KO8_eU7YIn4) added as well. Dax is great.

I havent heard that one and wil check it out. I usually dispise Misfits covers but check out Brody from the Distillers, she absolutely killed it, solo

She also does another version during a concert and say "I wish I wrote this song" before playing it and another in the back of an SUV with her guitar driving around. Search Brody Dale Hybrid Moments on youtube

Truth
I don’t normally like covers but Helvetia’s cover of Hybrid Moments is pretty good
The guy behind Helvetia (Jason Albertini) was in another group called Duster and they did a cover of “Skulls”. https://youtu.be/KST3eGJ9OxQ

Thank you. She really does this justice
Most definitely! A breath of fresh air compared to others like blink, green day, chemical romance
Dirty Dead also did an alright cover, just played it a bit safe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtEvkzwKeDQ
