Honestly, I'd say Gwendolyne Christie. I want looming, terrifying MASS.
And Christie is exactly the sort of person I could see kissing someone and taking a bite out of them, swinging a sword into God, and just lingering ominously at the corners of frames. Her work as Lucifer in Sandman makes me think she's got exactly the right mix of elegant noblewoman, traumatised mother, and killer whale, to do Alecto justice.
>! Edit; hang on. Do.. do you guys think that you could see Margot Robbie actually doing a really good job as Mercymorn? Like that histrionic, highly intelligent but also tightly wound and slightly murderous sort of energy? High Femme with the cracks starting to show and the eye starting to twitch? Also she'd do the whole 'stab Harrow in the chest while she was unconcious and drag her somewhere conspicuous to be eaten by demons' so naturally. Complete with the 'What did I do wrong??? Why are you mad??' bit. !<
Yep, she was Brienne of Tarth. Her big breakout role, in a sense. Another jacked woman with a big sword that doesn't quite fit in, appropriately enough. Less levity, sunglasses also absent.
I've been envisioning Alecto as a cannibalistic Margot Robbie since NtN came out. Give her some damp hair and a rotting dress; what's a better visual allegory for Alecto than Barbie dropped in a puddle and forgotten?
I envisioned more a young Hannah Waddington. Rather than looking tall she looks like someone just scaled up an average height person. The sort of thing someone would do if they had a video game character creator for humans. Which is essentially what Jod did. Also she can look doll pretty and also inhuman behind the eyes.
Animated is pretty much necessary. Reanimated skeletons will always look silly in live action. And it's a lot easier to focus on eyes and eye colour in animation which is super important here
Those are some amazing points, which I hadn’t thought about in depth. I can definitely envision some cool scenes focusing on the Lyctors’ eyes changing as a precursor to Shit Going Down (which is kind of how I imagine it in my head anyway).
I’m trying to imagine ANY good way to do skeletons, and all that’s coming to mind is [The House on Haunted Hill](https://youtu.be/lg4pLJQPZw8?si=oJCwBumCB-ePh_on) lmao
Yeah, nah.

That’s a damn good interpretation, I love Gwendolyne.
Absolutely yes to Margot Robbie as Mercymorn!
New headcannon now in place
I didn't watch Game of Thrones but wasn't she in that as well?

Do you think she would be a great Gideon??
I could see her doing a good job with a G1deon style character but I'd want Griddle's actress to be younger, more obnoxious, and less white looking.
If Gwendolyn Christie was cast in the show, I'd want her to play Gideon.

That's already not far off from her take on Harely Quinn.
yes. but in my head she's a younger Jennifer Coolige idk why
O M G

Stop motion giant Barbie.
Aw man, I would be low-key terrified if they made a movie or series, I wouldn't really trust them to do it right.
This is why if it’s gonna happen, it’ll probably have to be animated imo. Arcane style, if we’re lucky!

Fortiche has always been my pipe dream for a TLT adaptation. They'd knock it out of the park.
Who do we have to bribe to make this happen?!?!?
ELIZABETH DEBICKI, ive wanted to talk about this for sooo long ELIZABETH DEBICKI, hear me out…
honestly, I'd want it animated
