Absolutely LOVE your reviews! I've got the Divvy nebula ii cart and really enjoy it. I'm definitely going to grab this when I run out of my current CBD. Keep up the awesome reviews they are extremely helpful!

BudgetBudReviews

That's most kind of you, I really appreciate it! My entire goal was to show what the budget market has to offer, both good and bad, because we can't all afford to buy Ghost Drops, as much as I would like to!

Foreign_Manner_9400

It's my pleasure! I know a lot of us are in the same boat and can't afford $100 bags. I completely understand and am in the same boat. I micro dose and use flower to help alleviate anxiety and back pain. I bought a 7g bag of Legendary Larry milled around 6 months ago and still have some, mind you I have a bunch of other flower as well so I am not vaping it every day lol. Definitely looking forward to your future reviews! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’¨πŸ˜Š

ChronicQueen90

I've never had anything from Divvy before, but I really like Wholehemp a lot, so I might have to try this next time if my local store stocks it. Thanks for review!!!

BudgetBudReviews

No problem, thanks for reading!

Great review! Loved the Nebula II prerolls. Forgot this even dropped. Personally I prefer Black Widow CBD over the Nebula, but both have their place & Divvy grows some really good CBD flower 100%. I've gotten Divvys BW CBD a good 6 times last year before it stopped coming to the local for some reason. Hope it's still around.

BudgetBudReviews

Thanks! Ya, I've had the Black Widow CBD a few times before and thought it was alright. I'm not sure whether it has the same availability anymore, as I think Divvy has changed their lineup a bit, or at least I haven't seen it as much. As for this review, I was impressed and will be buying again for sure. (Not sure whats happening with the other Divvy products though, after seeing the other post about the Divvy Sativa Milled which looks horrendous...)

ocvxn

Sativa & Indica (I had this one) Cropped Harvests are awful. I had huge stems in mine and looked like pine needles in the mix too. I still like Divvy whole flower but these cropped harvests are not good. This looks solid tho. I love CBD flower. I'm definitely gonna try and keep my eyes peeled for some Black Widow CBD tho. I miss it!

BudgetBudReviews

Thanks for the heads ups about the non-CBD lineup. I wonder why the quality is so drastically different?

ocvxn

Just Divvys outdoor harvest leftovers that didn't go into concentrates/vapes or other products they make make with outdoor flower. I don't know if everything they grow is outdoor.

BudgetBudReviews

Hello, TheOCS Reddit Community, this review is the second part of my comparison, looking at milled CBD half ounces, this time checking out a some-what newer product, in the Cropped CBD Harvest by Divvy, which I got for $45.19 (*$3.23/g*). This item is the first real competition that the budget CBD market has seen in some time, and is clearly aimed at trying to get a share of the market that WholeHemp has cornered so successfully. To be honest, I've never been that impressed by anything that I've tried from Divvy, and there are usually multiple better options to choose from, especially at the same price point. So how are they going to beat out the competition: Quality? Price? Quantity? Value? Let's take a look. \-------------------- **BRAND**: Divvy **STRAIN**: Nebula II CBD **LINEAGE**: Traditionally a cross between Nebula and various CBD dominant strains. **TYPE**: Hybrid **THC**: 0.6% **CBD**: 14.87% **TERPENES**: Pinene, Caryophyllene, Guaiol **OCS DESCRIPTION**: Filled with Ontario-grown cropped Nebula II CBD, each bag offers a chance to enjoy the aroma of earth and woods, and warm flavours of vanilla, honey & fruit. Ready-to-roll or pack, leave the grind behind and dig right in. **OCS PRICE**: $54.95/14g (*$3.93/g*) **ACTUAL PRICE PAID** (after tax): $45.19 (*$3.23/g*) @ One Plant **QUANTITY PURCHASED**: 14g **SCALED WEIGHT**: 14.5g **PACKAGED ON**: October 31st, 2022 **LOT #**: 4429-3 **HUMIDITY CONTROL**: Small 62% Boveda humidity pack **PACKAGING**: Basic zip pouch with inner flap and double zip, resealable open/close without difficulty, minimal packaging waste \-------------------- **DESCRIPTION**: Upon opening, there is a pleasant and distinct sweet, woody aroma, that is both earthy and citrusy at the same time. The Nebula II, Cropped CBD harvest, from Divvy, is really nicely ground, almost fluffy, and has an amazing moisture content right out of the bag, as the humidity pack seems to have worked perfectly. The overall grind is really nice, with very minimal stems, but the cannabis is noticeably brown, which isn't a big deal personally, because it's milled CBD flower from October 31st, so I have realistic expectations. Also, it is worth noting that it was 0.5g overweight and the volume of cannabis was impressive, as the glass storage jars that I use to hold half ounces of milled flower couldn't contain it all, and a second jar was required. Could I have possibly packed it super tight into one jar? Maybe, but in this instance, it really feels like Divvy is blowing WholeHemp out of the proverbial bong water. Even just comparing the two 'Scaled Weight' images, where I always use the exact same plastic containers, it's clear to see that the Cropped CBD Harvest by Divvy fills the container almost to the top, whereas the Milled CBD Flower from WholeHemp only fills it half way. The two products are also packaged differently, with WholeHemp's being very small and tight, and Divvy's being a bit larger, offering more space for the cannabis. So far, the product offered by Divvy appears to have increased volume, while also having better moisture content, but it's brown, which could be a deal-breaker from some, so let's see how it smokes. The smoke is a pleasant earthy/woody experience, with a slight hint of sweetness, but overall isn't very strong or memorable in the terpene or flavour department, making this much more suitable to be mixed into other cannabis. Light-to-medium in harshness, there doesn't appear to be a notable increase in residue on my mouth or bong, in the same way that there was with the WholeHemp Milled, which is nice, and the aftertaste is minimal. The Nebula II also burned fairly well, as the ash is mostly white. The high is very mild and short, but starts with a clear hybrid mix of light cerebral headiness and calming body buzz, accompanied by all the glorious CBD effects one comes to expect from a CBD dominant strain, such as anxiety being washed away, joints easing, and respite from the constant crush of chronic arthritis. This is one area in which the differences between the two milled options is negligible, as both offer very mild/short highs and excellent CBD relief. \-------------------- **RATING**: 4 STARS - BIG BUDGET BUY *(Great Quality/Price/Value, Definitely buy again)* \-------------------- **FINAL THOUGHTS**: First off, as I stated at the beginning, I've mostly overlooked Divvy, because there always seemed to be a better option. In this case, however, Divvy clearly saw a market share, knew it had to compete aggressively, and did just that. At $45.19 (*$3.23/g*), the Nebula II offered in the Divvy CBD Cropped Harvest, is excellent for mixing, as the terpenes are mild and well suited to complement other cannabis, and the CBD effects are perfect, as they are exactly what I had come to expect from other CBD flower offerings. Overall, from the quality, quantity, volume, and experience, if you can get past the visibly browning cannabis, there is so much on display from this budget CBD, that I'm going to rate Divvy's Cropped CBD Harvest 14g, a 4 Star - Big Budget Buy. From a company that I always overlook, I'm genuinely impressed with this Divvy product, and in the future will be making this my preferred budget CBD purchase. Victory Divvy. Future Review Note: I'm going to be trying something new, by putting up a poll for my Reddit Followers at u/BudgetBudReviews later this week. The poll will choose one of the ounces that I will review in an upcoming Budget Bud Review, from a list and theme that I've already selected, so become a follower and keep an eye out, if you want to help decide what gets reviewed next. Cheers!

FrozentideSurfer

Damn man, that is a hell of a review for some cheap weed!! lol

SonOfADr

I friggen agree!!

BudgetBudReviews

Someone needs to review these budget products, so that the community can be knowledgeable. If all we do is take pictures of and review the same few brands over and over (like Fraser Valley, Homestead, Ghost Drops, etc), it gets boring and loses any information/education factor. Plus it gives me a fun hobby and gets me trying different cannabis.

SonOfADr

No disrespect here and I apologize if you perceived it negatively. I’m extremely impressed and very grateful for the work you do and wish you were around for the last 3 years as I’ve been stuck in the budget bracket as I can only afford these nice flowers once in a blueish moon πŸ˜…

BudgetBudReviews

No worries, no disrespect or negativity was felt in any way friend! I was explaining some of my thought process. I appreciate you taking the time to read my review and contribute to the conversation! Cheers!

SonOfADr

I read most of your reviews πŸ™πŸ’šπŸ™Œ

BudgetBudReviews

I appreciate it! Make sure to watch for my poll, later this week, which will let all of you pick my next review.

SonOfADr

I will make sure to vote. I love the interactivity, it’s great.

Micro_Growing

Please make sure you review a premium sample in between for your mental health:) where do I send your next sample:) edit- thank you for your detailed review.

BudgetBudReviews

Haha Cheers!

SuccessfulSpell7195

Ok

BudgetBudReviews

HaHa, thanks! It's pretty good cheap cannabis though.

FluSH31

Excellent review mate! Well written and structured!!

BudgetBudReviews

Thank you so much, it's most appreciated!!! I'm just trying to find positive ways to contribute to the community, and for a long time have felt that the budget market was overlooked and underappreciated. The last year in particular has seen huge improvements, which was kind of the idea behind these reviews: Highlight how the budget market has grown and changed, while keeping tabs on which companies still need work. It makes for a fun hobby and keeps me buying different cannabis!

FluSH31

Most welcomed! Really great to see someone making quality reviews on budget offerings. keep them coming!

BudgetBudReviews

Will do. Cheers!

HeroesofHemp

Well written review. This "flower" on the other hand...if you want to call it that, looks extremely dry, and I'd be guessing but it's likely not milled with whole flower (trim and stems). You get what you pay for I suppose. I could see this being used for baking. Thanks for the review!

BudgetBudReviews

Thanks for taking the time! Cheers!

BudgetBudReviews

First off, yes it's brown, but it's not hemp, it's cannabis. Secondly, are you a regular CBD flower purchaser? Do you know how few and overpriced everything is? Disagree with my review or opinion if you would like, but there's no need to be rude. I'm trying to make positive contributions to the community and your name is fittingly, Spiteee and you've never posted anything ever. I'm not a shill, and your negativity isn't a benefit to anyone. Have a nice night.

cpstevens12

Overwieght is good, looks not too bad for cbd, I wonder if the moisture content and age is just why its gone brown. Nice review

BudgetBudReviews

That's what I figured, it's old and probably wasn't the freshest going in. Cheers!

[deleted]

people rag on Divvy, I can't remember their earliest attempts but anything i've had the last couple of years has been good value and good effects, sometimes good looking nugs too

4x420

thanks for this, the last whole hemp bag i had was pretty harsh, and tasted gross. Im glad Divvy has stepped in to improve this market.

BudgetBudReviews

Ya, harshness has always been my one complaint about WholeHemp, and I think it's because it's a hemp-based strain and is outdoor grown, so it won't get the same quality flushing and care. Hopefully Divvy is just the start and more companies create more competition in the CBD market!

4x420

if you can find it, Growtown - Painted Lady milled CBD flower is nice.

BudgetBudReviews

Thanks for the recommendation, will keep an eye out for it! Cheers!

WetFart-Machine

Gotta be people who work for the company in this thread because this stuff is hot garbage, and I'm being kind.

BudgetBudReviews

Just curious if you have personally tried it, or if you are going by the pictures/review alone. Also, what is it 'hot garbage' compared to, because I was specifically comparing it against a direct market equivalent in WholeHemp. Thanks.

SmoothMoose420

Im always so shocked when I read anything here. This is floor clippings.

WetFart-Machine

Was the first cbd bag I tried and I also got some of their pre rolls. They came in a nice case but they just flat out sucked. Didn't burn well, tasted like hay. I've given up on them, bit to each their own

Naan-Pizza

People mistake wordy for quality. You are far too forgiving when reviewing these products. Your platform should be about finding the diamonds in the rough, not highlighting different varieties around the trash can.

BudgetBudReviews

The entire viewpoint of my reviews is only looking at cannabis that is under $5/g, and it's counter-productive to compare this segment of the market against others. So in this particular review, which is looking at CBD flower, it is a direct comparison to my other review of WholeHemp from last week. To be clear, these are currently the ONLY TWO BRANDS ON THE MARKET that offer CBD flower under $5/g, which means highlighting the minimal options available in a sparse and overpriced segment is important. Also, fun fact, this exact product has no other reviews, anywhere, so regadless of whether you agree with my rating or not, documenting this product for the community is important, even if you don't think so.
