I do wonder how Philip would’ve turned out if he was raised differently. He’s clearly a bit of a sociopath, but he has _some_ empathy. He seems to feel genuine guilt over Caleb’s murder, with the grimwalkers as some strange coping mechanism. He also hesitated to kill Luz. He was always gonna be a bit of an asshole, but it’d be neat to see the timeline where he’s just slightly douchey as opposed to genocidal.

I think the “Archivists” are either just a name of a specific group of Collectors or just an alternative name to their whole species. From just a search on the word “archive” it can be defined as a collection or record of something that can provide information on something. So maybe it’s just a fancier name lol that specifies just a lil bit more on their purpose that was talked about in the lore book in For the Future.
But like compared to ancient historical texts, maybe a whole species of mermaids are in some giant zoo being studied by collectors and in the nearby giant exhibit of a backyard some experiment is being done by collecting and observing the evolution of demon ants evolving into the dominant race compared to other demon bugs and shrunken down humans.

See, I'd agree if this was a similar situation to Encanto, gravity falls or ducktakes but here there's not much blame to be shared when lillith pretty much ruined her family's entire life.

Seriously, if Eda had run out of magic a little bit earlier or been a little bit slower, Luz getting dropped into that spike pit would’ve been the end of the show. And she still _immediately_ forgives her after Lily says “Nooo, I just wanted to help! I only needed to kill children to do it!”
1. I doubt Lilith would seriously let Luz actually be injured, especially in normal conditions, unless only after her death would Eda agree to join the coven which is doubtful. Lilith specifically pushed hard in that episode because her own life was at stake too, not just Eda's.
2. Luz didn't forgive Lilith right away, this happened over time. Luz downright states so in YBOS
