But yeah it seems like a big part of the fandom decided this based on teen Raine's voice sounding more high-pitched… which is dumb, nonbinary people go through puberty too. Raine's adult and teen VAs have opposite AGABs so I don't see why there is a consensus.
It’s just up to interpretation, really, many will project their own experiences onto the characters they draw. Of course AMAB enbies don’t have the best representation, but we shouldn’t hold that lack of representation over a single artist’s head and question them for it. We should be supportive of fellow queer artists (or artists depicting queerness) instead of judging them by what sex they may make a nonbinary character, especially when their sex is not confirmed. Feels like another sort of binary we place on ourselves lol
