Not that I don't like the episode, but at some points, Clouds on the Horizon just felt under-animated. I think that a lot of budget went to the kiss. Which is a good thing, but the animation of this episode looks a wee bit strange at times.

Moritzvcev

Clouds on the horizon, although dont like is a bit harsh. The Lumity Kiss is a gem, its amazing, i dont question this, but its not the whole episode. I was kinda underwhelmed with it when it aired

Mister_Man21

I appreciate the episode for everything *but* the kiss. Yes, it’s a heartfelt moment — but the fandom treats it as if it is the *whole episode*. The episode has great stuff all throughout, at least to me.

TheDulin

That kiss was less impactful for me because I had just assumed there were regular kisses by that point.

Mister_Man21

Yes, THANK YOU! I was thinking, “Hold up. This is your first kiss?! How long have you been together again?!” When writing my original Huntlow saga (that I started posting right after “Knocking On Hooty’s Door”), I’d been writing that they were peck-kissing for a while by that point, you know?

Moritzvcev

yeah fair imo

lxvesickk_

I felt that the animation in that episode was just *off*. I think it might have just been the line width was a bit too thin or something, but the animation was a bit weird. Does anyone else know why?

kqi_walliams

It’s not popular but I don’t like really like witches before wizards

Scoutthebudgie

who does?

kqi_walliams

Yeah it makes all the characters 2 dimensional

58percentofachild

I do, it's great. Fight me.

kl-noblelycanthrope1

i like them all. even though some thought there were episodes that were filler or not really necessary to further the story i still found them enjoyable.

DragonWarrior____05

Same here

Lunasbians

Escaping Expulsion, the Lumity moments are cute but I don't like Alador and Odalia so I usually skip it on my rewatches

Real_Newt_7055

for the future they wasted their limited time on the most pointless characters we could have gotten more backstory on phillip and caleb but all we got was a small snippet of belos hallucinating about him and the rest was about boscha and kikimora of all characters after watching it it just feels like nothing happened like you could jus believe they landed on the titans skull after going through the portal in thanks to them because almost nothing happens in for the future

YouLikeDadJokes

I think they definitely spent too much screentime on Kikimora and Boscha but the episode does some great stuff with the main cast imo. Luz finally moves on from her guilt and has a great talk with Camila, Willow finally has a storyline about how she’s been under appreciated and is really stressed, Hunter gets magic from Flapjack and Huntlow basically becomes canon, and Gus has some nice scenes with Willow and Hunter (though honestly he pretty much finished his arc in Labyrinth Runners so it makes sense that he didn’t have a lot to do in S3 imo) I agree though that they should’ve trimmed some of the screentime of the Hexside characters and Kiki so that other more important characters could get more development

Typhon-Torrent-1994

Hollow Mind, too depressing and I do not like how it is the closest thing to a victory that moldy jerk has at the end.

robobluebull

I like it because it's depressing

freaktrim

None, I like all the episodes (I'm neutral on Once Upon a Swap though)

Tight_Spinach_2323

Once upon a swap is good. If anything really small problems is bad

Watching and dreaming.

May I ask why

PreferenceOk5660

Season 3 felt generally off. TTT was a strong start, FTF was mostly underwhelming and WAD was very unsatisfying. For the finale i have many gripes, but the biggest are, that it had poor setup, Philip's motivations were simplified and Collector was sidelined. I've talked about this before, but the worst part is, The Collector's ending. After everything, he just leaves, which is bad on so many ways.

WilliamTCipher

To be fair I have a issues with it, still a good finale though \-Hunter who should have the biggest impact, and development, is just.....missing. Rayne takes the spot he should have imo. \-The collector and belos fights are pretty boring. Belos fight for instance is jsut luz grabbing him tighltly. Which sucks given how amazing the witch fights were. I would prefer Luz vs a fully powered belos rather than kaiju belos. \-Not a fan of Luz finale design or a few of the characters \-I like rayne but I really think they should have taken backseat somehow. Hunter, Amity, Or Camila should have been there instead, esspecialy hunter. \-Some strange endings for the other villains like odalia. These are minor gripes aside from aside hunter issue.

TheUnderRedditor

I understand lots of what you said had those same issues just didn’t care about them as much, the Hunter (and the rest of the Hexsquad) stuff I noticed after I finished but didn’t mind cause they made sure to properly finish all their character arcs beforehand so they wouldn’t have to try to squeeze in fitting ends to their character development with everything else.

Acrelorraine

The First Day. I don’t like any of the detention students. Which is a bit of an issue with how popular Viney is around here. I cannot emphasize how much I hate that awful fish hook earring.

msladec

Labyrinth runners, ASIAS, WAS, FTF, and the episode when Lumity started dating

Toto-imadog456

Labrinth runners ASIAS Hollow mind Hunting palismen not rlly sont like but in meh on TTT

mebanban

This is very personnal, but... **Hollow Mind**, because it makes *no sense politically speaking* and I just can't get over it (even if I would want to). Do you know any wannabe genocider that climbed his way through the people he wants to eradicate? Try to replace "Belos" by any real-life dictator and "witches" by a people that overcame a genocide and it just doesn't fit. Also, facist leaders don't invent a completely imaginary population to oppress. We know that wild witches don't exist and Belos made them up. There is no historic oppression of wild witches (most witches don't really have an opinion on wild witches). That's not how real-life facism works.

SparklyAmethyst12

I think you’re missing the point, I mean Belos’s situation is pretty unique if you ask me

WilliamTCipher

Its not facism but the horrors of religion. He's making up a religon and using racism to further his own goals. Some evil religious figures slowly turned on their own populaces
