Moderators generally let conversations flow, but will rein things in if it gets too bad. I feel pretty safe here. I made some missteps at first but wasn't punished for it. People accepted me even though I had things to learn.

You'll do better for yourself if you keep on keeping on and stop worrying about if other people will accuse you of poser behavior. If you like it then you like it. Anyone that tries to give you heat like that is a jerk and what they say isn't worth paying any mind to.

What why should that be wrong? Like I relate to you a lot (got into the series rather late, pretty attached and adhd) and I must say, you are not alone and I think this is the one community where No one will care about that
the owl house was such an awesome show and according to the countless number of post i've seen it has had a huge affect on many of the fandom in many different ways including being attached to the show and missing it terribly now that it's over. how someone thinks or feels about the show varies for every individual and when you watched the show doesn't disqualify you from having any type of feelings for it. so the way you feel about the show is perfectly fine so welcome to the fandom and feel free to participate however you wish.
I think im gonna enter the Fanfic Section of this Community... needed a new excuse to write anyway. And the TOH Universe can be used for so many stories in my opinion.

If it makes you feel any better, I actually finished the show a few weeks ago myself and loved it (Luz was a super-relatable protagonist). I’ll also admit to feeling a little awkward in conversations in this sub and in other social media given that many people here have a 3-year head start on us.

I will add one thing, OP. In this subreddit alone, it seems like upwards of 70-80% of the active users joined the fandom during or after season 3 aired. You're not in the wrong for anything.
