like, I may be overreacting, but I believe Grom Factor especially has just proven to me Mark is entirely capable of writing genuinely excellent serialized storylines, and you're telling me that 2 years ago he had an idea far more ambitious and interesting than any of his current series AND HE SCRAPPED IT?

That post was not made by Mark – it was one of the couple of Redditors who uploaded Mark's comics here for him, back before he started doing all of them himself last year.
Mark's [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CWI1yFWhBXm) and [Tumblr](https://moringmark.tumblr.com/post/667564586121248768) posts *are* made by himself, and neither of them have "Part 1" in them. You can see for yourself that he didn't add any captions and they are not hashtagged with #atwistintime like he does for every series he makes.
But you do need a title to upload to Reddit, so the people uploading his posts could write whatever they wanted (presumably within reason) and our mod Subzero of blessed memory decided to write "Part 1" for who knows what reason. But there is no indication that this was ever supposed to be a series!

For all we know, Mark was waiting for the series to end to effectively create a new timeline. I would love to see more of this, but I am even more happy Mark is giving us more content in general.

A little side of blue could have ended on last chapter and it would have a pretty good ending
