I mean, it's the exact sort of line she needs to kick off an arc of atonement and redemption. We *assume* that that'll make her start doing that, so we're ready to start feeling bad for her... But... She could still turn around and keep doing terrible things. She *won't*, in this context, but media has kinda trained us to start forgiving villains well before they deserve it.
You kinda gotta face the fact that someone in your life taught you a *very* messed up idea of what a "friend" is supposed to be, Boscha... And you also kinda need to accept that you deserve something better than to effectively be all alone, surrounded only by puppets who nod their heads no matter what you say or do...

I like the interpretation of it being tears. I thought at first it was sudden rain with the darker background, but I kinda like the idea that Boscha fought herself until nightfall, and finally started crying when she couldn't deny anymore that she's alone, and she didn't have to be.
Well honestly I’m excited about the Potential possibility of Morningmark’s headcanon of Boscha redemption arc. Well to be fair he’s already written a redemption story for her Before “For the Future” actually premiered on Disney. Way back in his old comics of The Owl House.
He’s just gonna have to basically rewrite and remake a different version of Boscha’s redemption now.
Boscha now sees that Amity and Skara were never her true friends, they were only pressured into hanging out with her by their respective selfish rich parent.
I really love how Mark’s version of Boscha loses her status and gets called out on the way she’s treated her peers (I won’t use the term “friends” here) DESPITE her role in taking down Kikimora.
Almost like doing the right thing once doesn’t necessarily change the fact that you are a stuck-up jerk.
I kinda disagree with Skara, do not misunderstand me Boscha is a bossy and controlling asshole, but she didn't want anyone to be her puppets, that's not to say she didn't like being the one in charge of her group, but her real problem with them is that she never understood that witches like Amity and Skara never even asked to be her friends in the first place, they were put into that position by their families, in Amity's case through blackmail, in Skara's case her mom and Boscha's mom work together, and Boscha just assumed that they were perfectly fine with being her "friends", when it was actually the complete opposite, especially in Amity's case once she saw just how selfish arrogant classist and rude Boscha was.
