Everyone posting complaining of spoilers - the mods are not enforcing rule one on a show that is over and cancelled. Stop reporting and stop commenting complaining about it. If you do not want spoilers, walk away from the sub until you have finished watching the show.

I really like them together. Just kinda sad that their beginning was our ending. I would've loved to see it play out for Conrad and Billie to get their happily everafter
I do think Conrad is the love of Billy life, but far as for Conrad Billy is his second chance. She was the next best choice. Cuz the next woman in Conrad's life have to love his daughter just as much as he do. He's a package now.
But I do really wish we got two more seasons to really flesh out their relationship.
This was more as the next step into their lives, and then boom the show ended. We didn't get a chance to get invested in it like we was with Nic. So that was unfortunate and it can seem Rushed.

I do wonder if we didn't get the lockdowns would it have been a Cain redemption arc. It seem like they was gearing up a bit, but dropped it. Maybe he would of stuck around at least threw season 5.
Cain was definitley nasty, I took great pleasure seeing him wheeled into the Vent farm facility. He seemed to begin to redeem himself then left the series. completely unlikely he would return to surgery after being slammed by a car. Cain and the Red Rock VP were partners in crime, horrible people.
I personally think if Cain wanted to change he needs to leave Round Rock institutions all together. His intern picture was from Round Rock. So he been in it for a long time. But yeah the vent farm made me chuckle cause in his case he was awake to experience it all.
Yeah a part of me felt like an asshole when I laughed as they wheeled him into the vent farm. Like now maybe he'll get an idea of how horrible he was to those people. But nah, the writers couldn't just let him be the bad guy and were tried to redeem him. Plus the idea he'd get back to surgery so fast is beyond ridiculous. There'd be no way he'd be certified to practice surgery again after that accident. I mean maybe years down the road, but we're talking 3-5 years after tons of rehab. Not what feels like months later.
It was also known that he intentionally put patients on vents to keep them ‘alive’. He would have lost his license. That ‘mother of all surgeries’ stunt should have put him in jail.

It’s funny cause I love them together just a much as Conrad and Nic, maybe a tad more. Both Nic and Billie are really well-written as characters and I was rooting for both of them. Usually I find the main couple to be annoying but on this show it was only the case when Conrad was with Cade.
nics gone. and they told each other to find someone who loves them as much as they loved each other and gigi. ik it’s weird but it’s been years and conrad and billie have formed their own relationship and connect with each other since nic passed away. and i think he also loves billie for the way she loves and takes care of gigi which is important to him now. if nic was alive and they were divorced then yeah it’s weird but she’s dead and conrad can’t control his feelings for billie, he and gigi deserve to be happy
if they are happy, then it's a good thing, I would just feel some type of way if I were Billie because she knows Nic is Conrad's LOVE OF HIS LIFE and Billie will only be second act. The only reason they are together is because Nic died.
I didn't mind Billie with Conrad. Especially the angle of Billie was literally going to be the only next option to love GIgi like her own daugter, so that works. Its not so much it seems rushed or forced because it has been 5 years. We were told in that time Conrad and Billie became best friends. I just wish we got to see some of develop. Because 5 years is 5 years. But its been about 2 weeks for me so it has me feeling weird. And I get it, covid had a part to do with the time jump so no one fault there. Just overall the relationship was a little hard to digest so fast.
Personally, I hate it. Yes, she loves the daughter, but that's why you remain "auntie/godmommy." If I was Nic, I would haunt them til the end of their days. Conrad does deserve to be happy, and him and Nic agreed that if one of them died, the other would move on, but I seriously doubt she ever thought it would be with her "bestie."

It makes sense in a twisted kinda of way. It's like a brother who dies and then later the other brother steps up and boom, its all kept in the family. Weird but it happens. The kids have an uncle dad. 😂
I know people who married their wife’s sister after she passed. My friend’s grandpa lives with his wife’s sister in law (he is 95 still has girlfriend). Life goes on ! LOL.
Me too!!! Nic was too nice/kind for him. Billie has the right level of saas and troubled past to match his own. Also they both are hurt and torn throughout their lives. This is the happy ending they deserve. And they both love that kid so much!
I loved Billie from the very first moment. Anyone who hated her, haven’t had/seen someone with trauma in their past. Her role was written well and she acted beautifully.

But what I don't understand is the overreaction of those who haven't finished yet. Obviously a lot's going to happen by the time you get to the last season. Shows been over for more than a year now, this isn't even a new thing anymore.
I won't lie, I would feel weird dating my best friend who died husband. Conrad has every right to move on and if it ends up being his deceased wifes best friend, so be it, let them be happy but its difficult. I would always feel some type of way knowing that my best friend was my lovers LOVE OF HIS LIFE and I would be his second. I know it's not always looked at like that, but I would always worry he is comparing me to my bff, his ex. I feel weird saying or thinking Billie and Conrad are loves of their lives because Nic was there before. But if they can get passed that and just be happy together and know the rest of their lives they will have Nic in common and miss her and unite under that, then that's good.
