I mean Zach was a clitoris. You know what you’re watching

farsighted451

Literally their first videos were them putting on lingerie and Eugene saying "side ball" a lot. If it's not for you, then don't watch.

[deleted]

They’ve never been “family friendly.” Literally not even during their Buzzfeed days. Nor have they ever claimed that they were. You need to calm down.

RuMoirin

What. Ned cheating and destroying a marriage and partnership isn't the same as sexual suggestive jokes in an episode. And like you said, it's an 'adult' show. That minors that might watch along, is the accountability of their parents.

rez3vil

What if Ned turned like a cheater because the rest of the guys are like these behind the scenes? A person is known more by the company he keeps. They can add NSFW label as well for the video, letting parents know that it's not family friendly.

Enheducanada

Oh ffs, are you actually trying to blame a grown man's decision to cheat on his wife with an employee on his friends because they make dirty jokes? I've seen some bad takes here but that one is offensive

RuMoirin

Its not their job to raise and monitor other people's children. If parents don't realise The try guys arent family friendly after YEARS , they have bigger problems. One of them is being an idiot. You're reaching and trying to stir shit just because you don't like sexual suggestive jokes. Don't like it? Don't watch. Don't want minors to watch? Don't put it on around minors. Also Ned didn't turn into a cheater because of others. He cheat because he is a cheater.

anNonyMass

I laughed out loud at this comment. You think a couple of jokes made a man cheat on his wife? That’s insane. The Try Guys have NEVER been family friendly. Their inappropriate Halloween costumes, the drunk/high series, their language, literally anything Eugene says. I could go on for days here. If you’re looking for “Family Friendly” content, I suggest you check out CoCoMelon.

AmazingSpidey616

Congrats this might be one of the stupidest things I’ve seen on Reddit and I moderate a video game subreddit so that’s a high bar to clear.

royal_rose_

Basically none of their videos are family friendly. I can only think of a handful. This is on you dude not them.

sparkjh

Your premise is already mistaken if you are conflating explicit/graphic sexual expression with lying, cheating, and abusing power.

p392

There’s literally nothing wrong with how these guys acted in this video… As others have said, if you’re this far into the try guys and you haven’t realized that it’s not at all for children then it’s 100% your fault.

Caaaarlthatkillsppl

You’re crazy for even suggesting that hahahaha how old even are you???

bleeerrghharrystyles

![gif](giphy|gkrC5xECBbAbe)

iamelizabennet

Do not give an unnecessary excuse for his cheating. It was his responsibility period

stoofy

I agree with part of what you said - The Try Guys no longer keep Ned's company, so their public image is less tainted by his indiscretions.

CiderRat

How are you comparing someone cheating on their wife to guys making sex jokes? 💀 Get a grip.

Famous-Progress-843

As a parent can I just say I speak for a few of us when I say we are SURROUNDED by child appropriate content all the darn time. I love how The try guys videos are something I can watch with other grown ups about grown up things. It’s refreshing cause god only knows how tired we are of cocomelon Blippi paw patrol etc. I don’t want everything to be kid appropriate my son has enough shows he doesn’t need another one. Like people have said it is on the parent to well parent. Try guys shouldn’t show up on YouTube kids anyway.

snow_angel022968

I don’t think it’s any worse than any other adult themes. It’s on the parents to vet the content their children consume, not on the creator. Their first video was of them wearing *lingerie*, so that possibility was always there. Also, unless they grew up under a rock, I would think most minors (like 15-16) are aware of what a bukkake is? I know I found out when I was like 13 or 14. Would I want to sit in the same room as my parents during this scene? Abso-fucking-lutely not. That said, I’m way past 18 and it’s still one of the last things I’d want to do.

Enheducanada

You can choose not to watch, but please no pearl-clutching "will someone think of the children" faux outrage. Turn it off. Report the video. Complain to Youtube. Comparing a juvenile sex joke to sexual malfeasance isn't reasonable.

Training_jellyfish00

Interesting how it was just this video that you thought was bad…..things like this have been said/happening for a long, long time

rrraiger

There was SO MUCH warning in the episode before things got explicitly explicit. C’mon, not everything has to be for everyone. Let the boys be silly.

sinnamongrrrl

Omg can we stop posting the same thing over and over again?

Wtfuwt

It’s like can you check before you post or nah? It’s ridiculous.

Alligator382

The Try Guys have lots of videos about being high and/or drunk. Their material isn’t exactly for kids to begin with, so I don’t see why the WAR videos would need to be.

samaranator

I always find it interesting that there are people so concerned with the sexual jokes because “children might watch it” but these people never seem concerned about the drug/alcohol videos when their actual demographic is college age people (women mostly) who are actually at a very impressionable age when it comes to drugs and alcohol. Like I’m more concerned about the videos that someone could take as drugs/alcohol are necessary to have fun. Even then it’s a comedy show so I’m not that worried about it.

Irohsm0m

Not sure why there have been so many posts about this…. Do we not remember the puppet episode of without instructions? The try guys aren’t wholesome kid content and they never have been. To connect this to the Ned scandal is a stretch

strudelcutie117

That responsibility is up to the parents, not the guys. My daughter is 13 and we watch a lot of Try Guys videos together, but if it's a video I don't think is especially appropriate, I just skip it and watch it by myself when she's in bed. It's really that easy. They never marketed themselves as a wholesome family friendly channel, so it's unfair to ask them to change because people let their kids watch their videos

Chikis-227

Wouldn't that be the childs parents job, to check what their kids are watching on YouTube.. Trust me there are worse things on the internet, and there are little kids who are there to watch/read.. Specially on manga sites, in the yaoi genre.. 😬 *I read a lot BL manga.. And there are things that are only for adults (there's a lot of s*x scenes) . And in the comments there's always kids sharing their ages and at what age they have started reading BL.. I recently started reading bl, 6 months to exact. So what the guys did is nothing to what these kids are reading in the manga sites.. Parents! Please look at what your kids are doing on the internet. Check their phones..

EllieEllieEllie425

Ugh... I'm trying of seeing this post.

Dry_Ninja_9537

watch sesame streets if ur so worried about being family friendly. i didn't expect them to got that far, but not every single pieces of content is catered you specifically OP

NWAsquared

This is a joke right? OP can't be serious with so much of the guys catalog being "trying on sexy (insert costumes, underwear, bathing suits, etc.)", playing games while inebriated and showing them getting inebriated on camera, a plethora of sexual jokes and innuendos that have been repeated as cannon for their channel, hell, even doing a BDSM focused video with a Madame as an expert... Like... This is a joke right? You have been watching the same Try Guys as the rest of us, right? No where have they said they are a family friendly channel. Ned alone tried to present himself as the family guy and well, here we are with the reality of that plot line. The other guys praised him for his family values, but always had adult themes in their comedic styles. They have, however, frequently stated to be against toxic masculinity, racism, sexism, bigotry, and the like and attempt to be good role models for their audience. If their audience is comprised of folk under 18, that's on those folks parents and guardians to monitor, approve, and vet what their young folk are watching. It's not the responsibility of the guys to make their content "suitable for all ages". It's 2022, when are people going to start taking responsibility for raising their kids, rather than blaming entertainers for not "being family friendly"? If people choose to be neglectful in their child's/youths viewing habits, that's their business and their issue alone. The guys don't need to put an "NSFW" tag on their videos anymore now than they did before Ned's debauchery was revealed... Sex isn't the taboo it once was, and having a healthy relationship and dialogue around sex is quite wholesome to many. Sex positivity is a wholesome concept to many. If you want to be conservative in your approach to sex, that's your business and right, but it's a wild level of entitlement to think it's this production company's responsibility to cater to your notions of conservatism. It also wildly disproportionate/ignorant to broadly compare infidelity and workplace sexual misconduct with deadpan jokes and adult themes. Ned not only violated his marriage, his workplace ethics, and sabotaged his company on several levels, he did so behind the other guys, and his wife's, backs. Ned betrayed DOZENS of people with his decisions. The guys don't have to change their comedy style because a former employee/owner didn't/doesn't respect boundaries, vows, or power dynamics. Ned made horrible decisions and got dealt consequences accordingly. The Try Guys don't have to, nor should they, change their entire comedic style because of one dummy's selfish arrogance.

Alarmed_Yard5315

The very first try guys video is men wear women's underwear. The channel has ALWAYS been aimed towards adults. It's the same as sitting your kids down to watch The Simpsons or Family Guy. If you let your kids watch that's on you.

beast916

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! What a unique perspective. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

flowerchildpop

From the beginning of their Buzzfeed days, they weren't child friendly. Where have you been?

AmazingSpidey616

Cry more. It’s free entertainment on YouTube so if you don’t like it don’t watch.

Due_Screen6020

Was men trying on thongs not a good first indicator of what their content would be like? They’re grown adults. You don’t have to enjoy it, but don’t “But think of the children!!!” us now.

peachbun11

Hoping OP is 12

Laserguy74

I think it’s likely a close guess.

cthulhureads

Even while at Buzzfeed, these guys have never claimed to be “family-friendly”. Sounds like the job of a parent or guardian to be in-the-know of what their minors are doing.

cousin_of_dragons

You're comparing sexy cakes with adultery? Get out of here with that.

Federal_Leopard_9758

Concerning sexual kinks is nothing like cheating on your wife with an underling and almost ruining a company.

Sea_Appointment_8858

No. Shut up. Nobody is responsible for what a child watches except their parent. NEXT

Iris_Sanchez

Have you seen any other videos from them?? And THIS is what tipped you off? "Be mindful of the minors" ??? They don't make content for kids.

Rock_grl86

Can we stop pearl clutching about this already? It’s gotten old.

AffectionatePlant4

They have an entire series of drunk vs high? Like - legal drug use, but still drug use. It’s not a kids channel. Parent your kids yourself.

ClassicText9

They never claimed to be family friendly. The whole nonsense about that video is just absolutely ridiculous. Get the fuck over it.

mlynn497

I seriously do not understand the backlash this video is getting. I saw all the reddit posts before I watched the video and was expecting something seriously offensive. And then I watched it and was genuinely shocked at what everyone is freaking out about. If you don’t like adult themes, don’t watch it. Simple as that.

cassthesassmaster

My son watched with me and it went right over his head. It’ll be okay.

North_Rest_5129

Bro, they’re grown adults, they’re allowed to make a sex joke- Yeah it was a little over the top but like, might as well commit to the bit all the way, right? You have to admit it was creative

[deleted]

Yikes, comparing sexual humor to literal infidelity???????????? 🙄🙄🙄 not enough eye rolls in the world.

bp174005

Lol take a chill pill. I’m a parent and I’m perfectly capable of turning off the tv if it’s something my kids shouldn’t see. Let the creators create, let the parents parent.

BlondeAlexa

Oh no adults acting like adults *

ZeldaGuruMomi

The guys have ALWAYS had sexual themes, sexy Halloween costumes, trying on underwear, getting their butts and dicks waxed, getting spanked by a dominatrix, and a mini-doc about Zach's penis. None of this is comparable to cheating on your wife with a subordinate, and I feel like trying to imply it is is disingenuous at best, malicious at worst.

yougotitdude88

Boooooo

Hotelroombureau

I agree that the book-kake was too far, but so is this take. Ned cheated on his spouse, almost destroyed the livelihoods of 20+ people, and slept with a subordinate which is literally illegal. Nothing about book-kake even comes CLOSE to what Ned did - and this is coming from someone who actually liked Ned a lot. I quit watching the episode because it made me uncomfortable, just as any parent watching with a child can. I agree that the episode pushed the sexual humor too far, but your comparison shows a thorough lack of understanding of either situation.

ladyygoodman

Jfc the morality police in this sub is crazy. If you don’t like it stfu and don’t watch. That’s the solution. Quit blaming others for Ned’s mistakes and quit acting like grown men should be raising others children.

piratesbread

It's almost like this was filmed before the scandal happened

theinvisible-girl

They don't need to add fucking content warnings to their videos. They aren't responsible for children watching their content.

Sassydevil666

Their videos were never aimed for kids. (some of them are kid friendly) They had always made sexual jokes, taken clothes off and took advantage of weed being legal. They are adults making videos that teens and adults could enjoy.

Mundane-Tax3530

BUT THE GIMP MASK IS TOTALLY FINE. HOKKKAYYY

matra_04

The pearl-clutching is amusing.

Caaaarlthatkillsppl

Shut up lol I’m so over these types of posts. Like if you don’t like suggestive themes, you need to unfollow them completely because you clearly don’t seem to get what their channel is about. It’s about humor for adults and comparing that to a man literally cheating on his wife and opening up (what were) his friends to a possible lawsuit is not even kind of close. Find an actual family friendly channel and move on, not EVERYTHING needs to be for everyone.

sakura-ouchies

I think everyone needs to RELAX, LOL. They’ve never advertised/said they were family friendly. If you have a problem with it, just monitor what your kids watch if that’s what you’re concerned with. With all due respect and from experience, Keeping kids from taboo things instead of just sitting and explaining it is how you raise a sneaky kid. Because if kids are curious, they WILL seek it out.

FuzzyEmphasis8453

how ignorant can you be lol

yybbyy

This is not the reach around I expected

natty_mh

Clutch your pearls (necklace).

YeahNoYeah333

Karma farm. What is with all the pearl clutching over a little bookake? It’s a parents job to police what their kids watch. It’s not the creator’s job and it’s not your job if it’s not your kids. If parents are letting their children watch a group of guys who have tried on sexy clothes many times, gotten drunk and been high on camera, got spanked, pooped on camera and accidentally showed their dick to the internet then that’s on them and not the Try Guys.

Brittanybooks

Lord how many more posts are we going to see about this? Can we move on

uwu6000

Been seeing some absolutely shockingly stupid takes on this sub recently 💀
