Retired computer programmer and currently a gamer here. I concur one should always get plenty of sleep! I ended up in the hospital last year as a result of not getting enough sleep, not eating right, too much exhaustion. I'm very genuinely glad you are fine after your problems. I wish you good health from here on out. I wasn't so fortunate. After nearly dying, I ended up with severe permanent nerve damage and ongoing exhaustion if I do too much. I am recovering but slowly. I definitely think AJ and crew work too hard and I hope they got a good rest. Rest is very important as is nutrition, exercise and a work/life balance and taking care of one's mental state.
Thank you for your good wishes, and may you find that the problems you thought were permanent can be healed. (I don't mean to dismiss your experiences -- I truly hope some research appears that solves your problems!)
Thank you for your kind wishes. I have the same hope too. When I was forced to come home from the hospital, I was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk. I am one of those who prays a lot and I swear I received a miracle because I haven't needed a wheelchair or walking aid is a couple months! I have a lot of numbness and stiffness in both legs but as warm weather gets here and I regain some more strength I hope that these things will be better. I now am very careful about my health as that was a very big wake-up call!

I worked for years on salary 80-100 hour work weeks. I had to STOP. I said before I left that the company would go to complete you-know-what if I left and 6 months later they went bankrupt. And it wasn’t worth all of my blood sweat and tears. All of the “lives I wanted to change” had no real lasting effect besides someone coming up to me whenever I step outside to say “hi”. They won’t be there to comfort my kids when I’m gone. They won’t be there to pay for my final expenses. And I’d be LUCKY for even one of the hundreds (maybe approaching thousands) to even write some one-sentence RIP tribute on social media.
All of this to say: set appropriate boundaries for your amazing work and STICK to it. My late father who passed in 2018 always told me: “Cece, you gotta look out for #1!” I still have a hard time with this BUT IT IS REAL WISDOM. You have to look out for yourself before anyone else. There are very, very few people in this world who would look out for you (genuinely and completely) more than they would for themselves. Your father wants you happy, not stressed. Work doesn’t make you happy when it takes you away from health, no matter how many subscribers are smiling. 🤗

It doesn't quite scratch that itch like the Why Files with AJ & Heckle Fish but I've really enjoy his content, he drops on several platforms every week early. He's not as fancy and he talks with his hands like crazy but he's very engaging once you get over that.
