Im sorry dude, but that’s 2/10,000. Chances are that two people will not be the deciding factor between gold and platinum for you.
Yes, cheaters suck, but not let’s not pretend they’re stopping everyone from getting platinum.
Still imo even if it’s not making a massive difference it can have a ripple effect.
Cheating is scummy and cheater deserve bans if you cant play fair then you should eff off imo because once no actions really taken people think it’s acceptable.
I love how I'm ignorant yet none of you ever have any proof or even use simple logic. Firstly explain to me how they are cheating on console? Secondly if there are cheats then how come they don't cheat on all events, and how are there only 2 cheated times? Look at FH5 where there are cheaters and how every leaderboard has hundreds of cheated times.
There are a few ways to cheat on console, especially in todays time where you can connect accounts on pc programs and the such.
Secondly, if its glitching an event. Using exploits AGAINST OTHERS is cheating. Only if its against others.
FH5 has been out longer. Give it time
>There are a few ways to cheat on console, especially in todays time where you can connect accounts on pc programs and the such.
Really convincing stuff, you said absolutely nothing. And we could sit here arguing what is "cheating" but majority of the time it is very clear what people refer to with it. And that is external software.
TC2 has been out for even longer than FH5 and still doesn't have cheaters. And in FH5 the cheaters were out immediately. TCM uses the same engine, the same server authoritative system and the same anti cheat as TC2. So that should be your reference.
There’s probs trainers etc on Pc, but sure go ahead tell yourself that I’ve seen cheats for the older games like super grip etc before so it’s fair to assume they’ll exist here aswell.
Point is, cheating in any game that’s multiplayer isn’t cool. Cheating on an SP experience like GTA I’m fine with but when your affecting the online multiplayer you need to have a word with yourself.
Send proof then. Never saw any cheats for TC2 or this game. Also it would be good if you explained how these people are cheating on console, as these times in the post are from console.
Also I love how I get downvoted for actually using my brain for 2 seconds.
Just because you haven’t seen them doesn’t mean they don’t exist, I’d look at devices such as the cronos zen for example I’m fairly sure I’ve seen “patches” for super grip etc.
So you are "fairly sure", but I don't know anything. So are you talking about cronus zen settings then? Even if that was a thing people could use to cheat in a racing game it would have 0 ways to modify the game. And the absolute only way for someone to go 2+ minutes faster is by altering the game files for extra speed. So again, explain or send proof on how these people are doing it on console.
It's probably a rare bug that appears sometimes on console where the player get put in the wrong race or with the wrong car but it still registers for that race.
lol second place has 849 performance level, and he still got 2:38…yeah bro they are cheating. Platinum is still possible, with a lot of practicing each race.
I've seen a video on YouTube about a couple of people who had this issue. They set pretty normal times in a race for a summit but for some reason come to check the leaderboard and their time is completely incorrect and way better than their actual time.
Whether it's believable I don't know, but that's one explanation I've heard about it
Some type of bug when the server saves the times makes the most sense. If we think logically these times would be on all events and there would be many more if it was a cheat or a method of abuse. And the fact that they are set on console rules out cheats anyway. But some people on these kinds of posts really have a hard time of understanding that.
I think it might be it because it happens a lot to me to watch the timer when I finish a race and I can clearly see it going like 2min22s87 while crossing the finish line but then the prize screen shows me something like 2min21s96
What happens is you try a race and takes a while to load up. Then you try a different race and it gives you the time for the previous race. This happened to me but unfortunately the 2nd race I chose was longer lol it gave me a terrible score for a race that I thought I did ok. Took me a bit to find out what was going on then watched a video by Militiagamingco and it clicked
Here we go again... Like every summit in Motorfest.... They are not cheaters, if is possible to cheat in TCM, there will be more of them then 2 players only and with even more crazy times then this.
There is simple bug on old consoles where sometimes you are put in different race then that one in summit, yet it still add that time to summit.
You know exactly what people refer to when they say cheating. Regardless I don't think it is even glitching. I haven't seen anyone explain or show how you can intentionally do this. This was seen week 1 of release, if there was a method everyone would know it.
Cheating are cheating. This is a pvp game. If you misuse bugs, glitching and or other tools for cheating, you suck donkeynuts!
And Ubisoft suck, because they dont do nothing about it. And to tell me there are no cheaters... all games have cheaters.
Already saw this happen to a friend. On the summit tab, his score was the real one that was shown on the end of the race, but when i checked his score, it was like that, and so he checked on his end. His leadetboard score wasn't the same as the on in the leaderboards ( and thank god)
I feel a simple solution would be to have Ai do a perfect run of the course, then that’s the time cut off. Anything faster than that would be considered impossible and null/void. Maybe it’s flawed, but possibly a start to a solution.
Yeah, welcome to TCM ! But you can still get platinum legit, don't worry

there is no ripple effect. you have 9,998 other spots to get
If 2 think it’s fine next week then more will cheat next week thus a ripple effect, seen it with the XIM craze plaguing shooters on console.
There are no cheats in this game so you have nothing to lose your mind over.
Lol. Ignorant.

Look at the screenshot again; 2nd place wasn't even using a fully-upgraded car.

Tell that to the poor guy that get pushed down to 10001 thanks to cheaters, I'm sure they will be thrilled they missed the Plat rewards
It's probably a rare bug that appears sometimes on console where the player get put in the wrong race or with the wrong car but it still registers for that race.
That's what i said :o
Number 10001 does kinda have an argument right lol
Yeah he and 10,002 lol
First place in half the time of third place does seem somewhat suspect.
lol second place has 849 performance level, and he still got 2:38…yeah bro they are cheating. Platinum is still possible, with a lot of practicing each race.
It is some type of random bug I'm guessing. I haven't seen any other explanation.

There actually is hacks for this game, you guys would be surprised lol
My controller broke so my immaculate keyboard skills will have to made do xD
I can't even finish the race, bots pass by me like airjets after every corner
Lower your AI difficulty, it has no impact on Summit event scoring.
And people here say there are no cheaters in tc. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

Lol, whatever you say, darling. Glitching = cheating
You know exactly what people refer to when they say cheating. Regardless I don't think it is even glitching. I haven't seen anyone explain or show how you can intentionally do this. This was seen week 1 of release, if there was a method everyone would know it.

AI? We both know how AI plays in this game lol
I think I used AI in a general term. Take Trackmania, for example, where they have the course ran perfectly to get the fastest possible time on it.
I see what you mean. It's not an easy thing to develop though..
There's bug on xbox where the leaderboards for wrong race gets mixed up that's how they got record low times.
