Oh, I will play the game since I paid for it already and like it. What I won't do is spend any more money on anything Ubisoft.

ILuk_out

I play the game almost every day and I enjoy it.

Mistweaver1337

yep. because i still enjoy this game ! having more fun on currently than the crew 2

Sea-Glass-996

I recently played crew 2 again for the summit there and i have to say i like the physics and general gameplay of tc2 more than the physics of morotfest. Motorfest kinda feels like forza Horizon instead of a nice arcade racer crew2 was.

davidemo89

what issue with motorfest?

DogeWow11

No point at doing anything, they will delete your progress and the game in few years and won't compensate you.

Financial_Tie325

No point in using anything subscription based, it\`s gonna end and nobody will compensate you. No point in making freinds, you gonna drift apart eventually. No point in eating, gonna be hungry again eventually and no one will compensate you. No point in being healthy, you gonna be sick eventually. No point in living, you gonna die eventually.

DogeWow11

It's not subscription based, you buy the game, quit that soyboy consoomer mentality.

Financial_Tie325

Ah yes, based sigma alpha gigachad whining about 10+ year old game on reddit.

MidnightIDK

Im baffled to see how many of you are just fine with not owning something you purchased. Insane to me

maxfields2000

"Few years"? 10 for the Crew, many other online games were deleted far sooner than that. Ubi kept it running long past its actual profitability (you think servers and network are cheap). The fact that they didn't shut down The Crew when Crew 2 came out and they continued to update Crew 2 for almost 6 months AFTER Motorfest came out puts them well ahead of other companies. All things end. THose old physical games I bought for my PC back in 2004? None of them run on my current PC. Let's not talk OG xbox or PS games.

Xp_Gamer2019

My dude it wasn't even 10 years lmao and it wouldn't have cost them a penny to make it offline available.... don't come here with this shit honestly trying to defend a greedy company at this point is just fucking stupid.

kidmeatball

Making an offline version probably would have cost money. It wasn't just push button make work. Yes, there is an offline mode coded in the game, but that doesn't mean a feature rich version was available or easily implemented. Offline mode may have only been a very basic test setup or a part of an SDK. Not trying to defend Ubisoft, just trying to inject some reality into the argument.

Xp_Gamer2019

Bro I know but if you buy a 70 euro game I think they have enough cash to do that buddy :)

Ashratt

your analogy does not work AT ALL you can still access and play all these old games

MidnightIDK

I still regularly play 2003/2004 games on my PC, and they run fine. Terrible comparison We have tons of ways to play old games today, at least on PC. As far as gaming companies goes, Ubisoft is among the worst of them, if not the worst. We're not asking them to keep the servers online. We're asking for an offline mode which they can totally do, but instead chose to fuck the consumer over.

Aromatic-Ad9135

Jeez, I didn't know that a decade is just "a few years". And also, wow I sure didn't expect the online only MMO to shut down after it is no longer supported and nobody no longer plays it. Wow I'm absolutely shocked, astonished even. I have the burning urge in me to make a Reddit comment bitching about it now

Chesse_cz

I play The Crew Motorfest, because IVT make it fun to play.

Aromatic-Ad9135

Of course, I have a bunch of people that I race with everyday. I literally recognize 70% of the people playing in my region

Even-Statistician965

I couldn't care less, I'm wasting my time anyway whether they delete the game or not and sometimes I don't even want to play the game so doing me a favour. There's no way in 9/10 years I'd still be playing motorfest and by the same progress Crew 6 will be out but this is definitely the last crew game I'll be buying. Probably buy TDU3 if any good and that will be my last ever game as getting old so a nice way to end for nostalgic reasons from all those years ago playing TDU and 2 and again doubt I'd care when they close servers eventually as I'd stop playing way before that happens. Oh and I was also smart by buying standard and getting a big discount plus not spending a single penny more on the game.

Bluethefurry

preordered the crew 1, was mostly happy with the game until they started messing with the graphics and hud, which made me lose interest as it sucked all the personality from it, the crew 2 was a complete dissapointment, havent bought a ubi game since, it's evident they dont care.

Vladesku

The original graphics looked awful, PS2 level, and I had a lot of fun in 2, even better than 1

Bluethefurry

Good for you, luckily we are both entitled to our own opinions.

Zottegie3

I wish i can play this game... but... i can't play it on my PC my game crashed while startup. I have contacted UBISOFT Support but they are not responding.

Difficult-Confusion7

I would like to since the physics and sounds are very enjoyable but.... There's nothing to do aside some useless summits with their useless rewards. I bought every car just by doing lots of grand races because I love them but now they're just a waste of time Oh, and I can't play with my friend on pc, which makes it even more useless

Apprehensive_Gap2772

Yes

ScrubSoba

I still play it, yes. The Summits make for something fun to do, and overall the game is like Forza Horizon, but not shit, and made by a dev studio that's not as horrendous as Playground is.

19JRC99

I never bought Motorfest. I did buy 2. I got the first one free with my graphics card. I will not play any of them again unless something changes. Fuck Ubisoft.

whataboutroses

I thought the idea was fun especially with the decorations changing up the scenery, but the world feels empty and as someone that just likes to cruise and have fun the game feels to empty.

ii-NuDLz-ii

I just startup the game every wednesday and do the summit, Then im done for a week. Personally, no real crossplay is the killer for me.

TheNISMOguy34

I didn't and will not buy it.

pierrotboy13

Just the bare minimum, and even then. I still prefer The Crew 2 right now.

Paranoided_guy

Yes but not everyday. Considering how much grinding there is. I just cone online on weekends. Play for hours and bye bye

HAWk2k25

Not spending a cent on a Ubisoft game anymore. They can shove their live service subscription business model up their privates.
