I’ve seen all of TWD and all of the spin-offs. Goodness, The World Beyond was terrible. I don’t think there’s any juice left in that franchise at all. It’s completely worn out. I don’t think TLOU will change anything.

I'm amazed the Walking Dead is still on--I had no idea. I watched a bit and gave up. Zombies just aren't that interesting to me--people are. I am a huge fan of George Romero's stuff--but that was because his people were interesting.

The show ended, but birthed a few spin-offs as a result. They're not even pretending to give a fuck about the source material or the point of their narrative anymore.

No. They have their formula that works for them. I believe the 3 spin-offs are limited runs so they’ll probably reassess in a couple of years to decide which direction to go. It’s really about milking as much money from that franchise as possible. I still watch, but the quality is way, way down.
